Our Spiritual Awakening

Spiritual awakening is a continuum, the neverending story. Every human being on earth is sacred and of Infinite worth; all unique in our own way with different paths leading to67639647_1335981933233962_6249562901879717888_n the same destination.

What we do have in common, is the essence of God. It lies within each of us waiting to be awakened. It has many names; divine spark, soul, or spirit to name a few. Our bodies are the temple. Perhaps the COVID-19 is the catalyst for many to begin the awakening process while others continue to enhance their spiritual awakening.

It is interesting to note that Dr. Andrew Newberg, a neuroscientist, has researched the brain function and various mental states. He learned we have spiritual brains, deeply connected to something greater than ourselves. The human brain that engages in prayer and/or meditation results in a powerful spiritual experiences that have been described in every tradition and society.

discernment-of-spirits-nThere are so many different aspects regarding the spiritual and human condition since our beginning. During the years 800–200 BC was one of the most creative and influential eras in history called the Axial Age; the evolution of human thought. Religious and philosophical activity took place in Asia and the Mediterranean. During this time, Jeremiah, Isaiah, The Buddha, Confucius, Vardhamana Mahavira, Pythagoras, Heraclitus, Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, produced the intellectual and moral matrix out of which the world religions were born. Religion developments are based in the ideas, concepts and insights from the Axial period.

And now we jump forward to March 2020, an unprecedented time of the quarantine, 0a9b9a69447b265abd17d51c39eabe50unlike the world has ever seen, based on the COVID-19. Perhaps this is our axial age, time to reflect and realize there is something greater, something more than we could ever imagine where new spiritual traditions emerge. By seeking the truth one will discover the world is not as it seems and the physical and metaphysical worlds are inseparable.

Your awakening may provide signs that are unique to each person. It is important to recognize the polarity of the signs, positive or negative entities providing the message. For those who are seeking the truth, an arduous and difficult journey, the signs may be more noticable. Common signs would be your thoughts, emotions, actions, dreams, signs in nature and numerology. Others may have mystical experiences and psychic abilities they simply do not want to discuss for obvious reasons. There may be an urging to want to know the truth or a array of other experiences unique to each person.

Quotes-About-Planting-Seeds-For-Life-02Perhaps this event is an awakening not only for ourselves, but for humanity. Now may be the time to raise the consciousness of our planet. Imagine 7.7 billion of us, thinking, feeling and feeling love and compassion while helping others around the planet. Love is the greatest and most powerful emotion, being difficult to understand, much less described. We can say it is divine energy radiating in all things. As spiritual beings having a physical experience, our understanding of love is simply from a physical perspective.

To know yourself is the same message our teachers such as Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu, Krishna and many others have been trying to tell us through the centuries. Lao Tzu tells images - 2019-05-19T080936.710us “Wisdom comes from knowing oneself. He who knows himself is enlightened”. In the dialogue of the Savior, Jesus said “Those who have truly found the Self within recognized that it exists everywhere.” and in Luke 17:21, KJV Jesus tells us, “, the kingdom of God is within you.” Buddha added, “Everyone has recognized the self-ones essential nature. But few have realized it.”

We are all spiritual warriors. Spiritual awakening and growth is listening and trusting your higher- self, the warrior, within. There is no better teacher. We all have Christ consciousness and Buddha nature to guide us. All we have to do is pay attention. We all have the gift of discernment or intuition, we just have to learn to trust ourselves.

image01During this time, perhaps it is time reflect how mother earth is healing herself, because of human inactivity. Maybe it is the time for us to heal, to look within ourselves through contemplation, meditation and prayer and discover our true selves and realize the world is not as it seems.

Fake News as a Catalyst

As the true story unravels regarding the Coronavirus, known as COVID-19, we should  realize how the media controls the Masses with its fake news.  The world is not as it seems!  We can see how easy it is to control the masses through media and how we are taking part, and involved in a psychological warfare of fear.  We are one people of all walks of life, regardless of your belief system. It does not matter if your  Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or Atheist, we are all one people living on earth to learn the ways of love and wisdom. Perhaps this is our time to unite and support one another instead of listening to the untruths. This is the time for calm and patience and not let the unruly mind take control, and certainly not to take to heart everything you hear, especially on mainstream media.

Spiritual growth is listening and trusting your higher- self. We all have Christ consciousness to guide us, all we have to do is pay attention. We all have the gift of discernment or intuition, we just have to learn to trust ourselves.

onenessThere are 7.7 billion of us on this planet and within each is a Divine Power waiting to be awaken.  Our emotions, feelings and thoughts create our reality more now than ever before. Consider the COVID-19 as a catalyst, a  humanity reset and now is the time to practice Love, compassion and service to others.  Consider we are all one and how our thoughts, emotions and actions are creating and generating the global consciousness. We have free-will to choose love or fear. God works in mysterious ways.

Dr. Andrew Saul and Sayer Ji discuss Vitamin C, Coronavirus, and Censorship

The world is not as it seems and it is changing rapidly each day.  Seeking the truth is a lifelong endeavor.   This unique experience with  COVID-19  is a psychological war we are all involved generating positive and negative energies.  Positive thoughts are of love , compassion, helping others, being grateful and appreciative for the opportunity to have this experience; On the other hand negative thoughts are filled with fear, anger, greed, hate and thinking only of yourself.  This is our school and the reason we are  here;  to learn the ways of  love and wisdom. We are essentially learning how to love and play well with each others.

It is not the world that needs work. It is not the others that need change. The only area that needs work is ourselves. We all have free-will  to work, to hope, to dream and to walk that spiritual path in our own way. There are many paths leading to the same destination and the best teacher is the love and wisdom within.

A Spiritual Perspective on COVID-19

God just sent us all to our rooms!!! We are living in a historical moment that is providing many lessons and one lesson should be the world is not as it seems and our physical and spiritual worlds are inseparable. Another lesson is how easy it is to control the masses through media. We are all taking part and involved in a psychological warfare. Call it good vs evil, unnamed (1)or positive vs negative, we are all pawns in a game of chess. The COVID-19 is a tool  being used for control. It does not matter what religion or political party you are affiliated with, this affects humanity as a whole all over the world.

It is not the pandemic that will define us, but how we treat each other. Will we define humanity through love and compassion, or allow the pandemic to define us with fear and hate. What we think is what we become. It is a personal choice for each to decide to trust that there is something greater than ourselves; or allow the negative emotions take control. God works in mysterious ways and may even work through those we believe are unworthy.

From a spiritual perspective, it can be used as a catalyst for those to decide who they really are, or what they want to be, either positive or negative. Ask yourself, are you living in fear, despair and hate or in love and compassion while helping others. People of all walks of life, regardless of belief system including Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or Atheist, we are all one people living on god-often-moves-in-mysterious-waysearth to learn the ways of love and wisdom. Perhaps this is our time to unite and support one another instead of living in fear, spewing hate and discontent.

God dwells in each of us, closer than your heartbeat also known as Infinite Intelligence; All you have to do is pause, take a breath and smell the roses. Slow the mind  and connect in your own way.  Contemplation, meditation and prayer can provide the gateway to reach the divine.

The COVID-19  has slowed people down all over the world and we can see Mother Earth heal before our very eyes.  The streets of Italy has all but ceased, but Italians aren’t letting fear of this pandemic keep them from one of the simplest joys in life, music.  During this same time Air pollution has dropped in Italy and other places in Europe.

In China carbon dioxide levels have dropped drastically showing show Mother Earth is repairing herself because businesses, cars and planes are minimizing the pollutants they create.

These are just a few examples how the earth is healing since God sent us to our room in a very short time.

Perhaps the quarantine is a way for us to take time and reflect how our presence affects not only those around us but the planet as a whole.  We have come to a pivotal moment  in our spiritual evolution human.  We have been sent to our room for a reason; to 73069819_10157688204618288_8520690656807485440_ncontemplate how our thoughts, emotions and actions are creating our reality, especially doing psychological warfare.  Are your creating a reality of  Love, compassion and helping others, taking care of Mother Earth or hate, greed and control of others, while  destroying the planet for profit.  Only you will find  the answers;  look within your for the answers, Infinite Intelligences is right there all you have to do is listen.  You are the only one than make those decisions.

Balancing our Lives

Our lives have limited time with limited energy; being in balance is very important. Our focus is on the material aspect of our world; providing for our families, trying to stay healthy, and trying to find our way spiritually. We all have problems and troubles. 72127554_1397073520458136_1438555366869696512_nHowever, how we handle those situations are entirely in our control. The wonderful thing about our lives is we have free-will and the ability to choose. Keep in mind energy flows where your attention goes.

Balancing involves the body, mind and spirit which includes diet, movement of the body, dealing with negative and positive emotions, and reconnecting to the source of creation. When you reconnect, you will realize the oneness of the creation. God, Tao, Infinite Creator, Universal Mind are one in the same, and is the Source of our existence.

Consider the sun or the earth as spiritual energy, or divine force. The energy that nourishes our body, mind and spirit. Sunlight is something we cannot live without. Light is the food for all life. The human body, according to the images11doctrine of chromotherapy, is basically composed of colors. Insufficient sunlight will result in low Vitamin D deficiencies, leading to the development of prostate and breast cancer, memory loss, and an increased risk for developing dementia and schizophrenia. Every creature and plant on earth is engulfed in light that affects its health conditions. It is interesting to note the energy of the sun has the colors of the rainbow, like the chakras of the human body.

Grounding, as we all know when we go to the beach, improves sleep and reduces stress. When I go barefoot, I am more relaxed and have a feeling of connection to the earth. Grounding is bare skin to the earth. Performing Chi gong or any meditative practice outside barefoot is an excellent way to cultivate energy as well as connect to mother nature. Grounding is a simple way to prevent and help inflammation with these techniques.

Movement of the body to help the flow of energy can be anything from gardening to y2019m06d22_workshop_01walking in nature, if possible, as well as Tai-chi or Chi-gong. Any kind of strenuous workout or exercise is helpful.

Meditation and prayer have been proven to be beneficial. Dr. Andrew Newberg’s research showed how meditative prayer changes our brain by using a 12 minute exercise, called the Kirtan Kriya. It is a type of meditative prayer when practiced daily for 8 weeks will improve cognition and activate parts of the brain that are central to memory.

Food is the fuel for the body so a diet should limit processed foods and sugar. Be thankful for the food that you put into your body. Intermittent fasting is very helpful and can be How-The-Body-Regenerates-Itselfdone by not eating in a 10–24 hours period. Drink plenty of water. Fasting will assist your body’s immune system in fighting off disease and illness.

Our thoughts and Emotions control who we are and what be become. Paracelsus, Father of Modern Medicine said “The spirit is the master, imagination the tool, and the body the plastic material . . . The power of the imagination is a great factor in medicine. It may produce diseases in man and in animals, and it may cure them . .. Ills of the body may be cured by remedies or by the power of the spirit acting through the soul.”

Being in balance means looking within and discovering your true self in your own way images1as Buddha did. Evaluate your life, determine how you would like to live. Write an affirmation and get in a daily meditation practice. Realize your thoughts, emotions and and actions help create your reality as well as those around you.

In your own way, be of service to others, finds ways that cultivates the expression and love of the Divine, and learn the ways of love and wisdom. Love is the one emotion that can overcome all. It is also the most difficult to understand fully, and certainly the most difficult to achieve. A world where everyone loves one another, as Jesus said, would not only bring balance to the body, but the world.

Reality and Visualization

Is it contradictory to accept reality and yet visualize for a better world? The acceptance albert_einstein_quoteof reality is just that, accepting what is currently occurring, visualization is for what is to come.

We worry constantly about what is happening, what may or may not happen. It is prudent to our own psychological well being as well as our spiritual growth to accept our reality as it comes to fruition, as this acceptance can bring peace to our psyche. I believe when we begin to accept reality as it is, it actually empowers us to change the reality of our world. Rather than looking at anything negative that we believe is our reality, if we find the love in it – the silver lining, then our reality begins to change. Our reality serves as a catalyst for our spiritual growth to teach us the ways of unconditional love. When we accept our reality, we begin to understand our purpose and role in this life.

Visualization through meditation is the practice of seeing and listening through the heart.

It’s one of the paths of making the mind and heart one. Studies have found that the human mind does not distinguish the difference between our own experience and that of which we experience through our eyes or dreams. Therefore; simply watching a program or playing a video game in which our body begins to react to our thoughts, our mind believes we are actually experiencing the event. The saying is we become what we think, our thoughts can and do create our reality. Every thought is a form of energy, we send that energy out into the world and it begins to manifest. Visualizing positive thoughts through the heart makes a direct connection to the mind increasing the intensity of our thoughts, sending positive energy out into our world and universe.

Visualization however, requires more than just the act of love through the heart and sight through the mind’s eye, it also requires a complete faith and trust of oneself.

Expanding and Experiencing Spirituality Through Intention

How much of an impact do our intentions have on us and our world?  Our lives are programmed from the first phase of birth, programmed to eat on a schedule, to sleep on a schedule, to work on a schedule.  We have become so accustomed to being programmed we even program ourselves.  We create an intense catalog mentally of our responses to specific stimuli, in return when experienced again our subconscious takes over and goes into autopilot.  Reacting and/or responding to our repeat of the same experience.  What happens when we stop ourselves and actually think through the intention of the outcome rather than the outcome itself?  Are we truly living life or merely trying to survive it?   Ask yourself,  how many times throughout my day do I just go through the motions, never giving a thought as to why I’m taking the action.

Does that mean if I respond the same way each time to a specific comment or action, I’m acting from pre-programming?  No, not necessarily.  Let’s take for instance a loved one saying I love you,  normally a typical response is to confirm you love them as well.  Now ask yourself, when you say it do you just say the words or do you actually wish to convey to the person the actually feeling of love you feel in your heart.  Your answer is not only indicative of your self programming but also of your spiritual well being.

When we go through the motions without intentions, we rob ourselves of the emotions, placeborewards and growth the action alone fails to garner.  How do completely benign thoughts and actions fill and affect our world?  Studies regarding placebos indicate that when we believe we are taking medication that helps us the outcome can be a measured positive response. When we take a placebo our intention is to heal, and we tell our bodies such and it makes it so.  Therefore our intentions not only affect our emotional state so that we actually experience the moment, we find that intention also affects our physical bodies as well.

The New York Times Bestseller, The Hidden Messages in Water, documents the extraordinary life work of Dr. Emoto regarding the impact of human thoughts, emotions and intentions on water crystallizationThe study had a profound impact on our understanding of the effect of our thoughts and intentions on the world around us.  The study showed beautiful and intricate crystals formed when positive intentions and thoughts were impressed upon the glass of water, when negative thoughts and intentions were impressed upon the same water the crystals were dark and ill formed, if formed at all.

Our intention adds the abstract layer of a focused outcome, one in which we not only create the thought or action but do so with a mindfulness making us fully aware of the moment.  In doing so we not only capture the emotional impact of the moment but we expand our spirituality with the acknowledgement of the connection between our heart and minds.  Studies already prove that human consciousness has more to do with our reality than human intelligence.  Want a better day?  Want a better life? Want a better world? Our intentions can and do impact the physical world around us,  how much can we change ours by living in the moment, by acting and thinking with positive intention?

Stumbling in the Silence

busymind2

Nirvana, enlightenment, Christ Consciousness, many words used to describe a state of higher consciousness a state of loving all.  Becoming one with all, stepping beyond our own human limits and rising to our spiritual level which has no boundaries.  Measly words created by man can barely describe that of which we know and understand,  trying to use those same words to describe that of which exists only in faith, only within ones self can never convey it to a level of understanding that will come on an intellectual level.  That however is where the fun begins.

theveil

It’s called the “veil”.  Such as the bride who hides behind the veil to only be exposed at the time of unity – the uniting of two to become one.  Same holds true with the “veil” that each of us live behind as a spiritual being living a human experience.  The “veil” only to be dropped when we have reached the unity of oneness with our One Creator.   When we reach the acceptance of Love, that it is not just what we do or how we feel, it is who we are.  Love is all, it’s oneness;  it is the very reason for our existence.

Spirituality has been described as that of which is revealed in the silence when looking within ones self to understand the true message given to mankind throughout the ages in sacred texts. Silence…., who hears anything in the silence, isn’t that in itself contradictory?  Silence is defined as having no audible sound, to hear nothing according to the dictionary.

silence

Therein lies the challenge, how does one find the silence within?  There’s so much noise today, not just on the outside but within us.  We worry about finances, love, family, health,  politics, we worry about worrying.  Our minds don’t stop long enough to hear silence, we  are constantly thinking about whats next, family, friends, chores, trips,  health and life.  Most of us can’t even hear ourselves speak.

In Greek during biblical days, the word silence meant to keep peace.  Therefore; when one keeps peace within themselves – within the silence, the truth is revealed. Much like the varying definitions of the word silence, each of us will also have varying definitions as it applies to us.  Silence doesn’t always mean a clear, empty mind, sometimes it may just be observed as a peacefulness within.  There is no right or wrong way to reflect upon ones own image, peeling back the layers of what we not only hide from others but hide from ourselves.

peacewithin

The search within is a catalyst for most, if not all along the spiritual path.  Searching and listening for the silence, waiting for that noticeable change within.  The change begins the minute we opt to pursue the path of spirituality, the minute our mind accepts things aren’t as they seem.  We notice subtle changes in our thought process.  However; for some this is the point that seems to lead to frustration, and for some a hesitation to continue along the path.  A feeling of inferiority, a feeling of failure, these feelings are normal, they are a part of the path.  That is the voice we hear in the silence, its not telling us to condemn and judge ourselves its showing us the areas we must focus on and bring into balance.  We all struggle and stumble within the silence.  Struggle to understand the message, and stumbling by judging our self.   The silence can become stronger when we have no level of expectation, but simply an acceptance and love for our self.  Loving and accepting of ones self is the ultimate catalyst for spiritual growth, without the love of our self how do we love our neighbors as our self?
