Political games gets people killed. Political decisions made from ego, power, or party strategy have real human consequences. It’s easy for leaders to move pieces on a geopolitical chessboard, but every “piece” they move is a son, a daughter, a parent, a brother, a sister, a living soul with a life and a future. Military personnel are not pawns to be sacrificed for political ambition — they are human beings who deserve honor, respect, and leadership grounded in wisdom and accountability, not gamesmanship.
Just for your info the United States Armed Forces consist of six branches, all operating under the Department of Defense (DoD) except the Coast Guard (which falls under the Department of Homeland Security in peacetime but can transfer to the Navy during war). The six branches include Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard with the total active-duty across all branches is around 1.32–1.33 million.
