The Law of One (also known as the Ra Material), a series of channeled teachings from an entity named Ra (a sixth-density social memory complex), describes Mars as having once hosted a third-density civilization — a population of humanoid beings undergoing spiritual evolution similar to humanity’s current stage on Earth.
Past Life on Mars
Ra explains that Mars (referred to as the “Red Planet”) was inhabited by third-density entities approximately 75,000 years ago or more. These beings were in the midst of their third-density cycle, learning lessons of polarity (service to others vs. service to self) and free will.
Destruction of the Martian Environment
The Martian civilization’s atmosphere and surface environment became inhospitable due to bellicose (warlike) actions. They engaged in ongoing warfare, which ultimately destroyed their planet’s habitability — described as catastrophic conflicts that rendered the surface unlivable (implying massive ecological or technological devastation, often interpreted by readers as nuclear or advanced warfare).
Ra states: “This planet’s environment became inhospitable to third-density beings.” The wars “stopped [the population] in mid-third density,” halting their collective spiritual progression.
Transfer to Earth
As the physical bodies on Mars died out, the mind/body/spirit complexes (souls) of these entities were transferred to Earth by Confederation guardians (higher-density benevolent beings acting in accordance with the Law of One). This transfer involved genetic adjustment or “cloning processes” to incarnate them into bodies suitable for Earth’s third-density experience.
A significant portion of early humanity on Earth consisted of these Martian transplants. At the start of our current major cycle (~75,000 years ago), roughly half of Earth’s third-density population were reincarnated Martians, with others coming from Earth’s second-density evolution (e.g., ape-like forms) or Maldek (a destroyed planet whose souls also incarnated here).
Their genetic material mixed with Earth’s population, influencing human traits. Ra notes lingering “planetary influences from Mars” affecting some humans today, such as subtle memory effects or a slight shift in sleep cycles (mentioning a natural ~25-hour cycle in some cases due to Martian origins).
Current State of Mars
Ra describes Mars as currently uninhabitable on the surface for third-density life. It is “stopped in mid-third density” and undergoing a long healing process that will take “some of your space/time millennia.” No physical third-density civilization exists there now.
There are references to higher-density or inner-plane entities possibly working with or observing Mars, but no active third-density life. Ra implies some thought-form or residual energies from the past civilization may linger, but the planet is essentially barren for incarnate life as we understand it.
