The Law of One teachings on politics and media are subtle but profound. While the Law of One never addresses modern governments or “mass media” in a literal sense, as we know them today, the Law of One material contains clear guidance on both themes — how collective power and communication systems can either serve unity (service-to-others) or manipulate separation (service-to-self). As we can see today our political systems mirror the spiritual state of their people.
This means governments form from the the positive and negative vibrations of their citizens’ consciousness. When people seek control, fear, or division, the governing powers will reflect that distortion. When people seek harmony and cooperation, political structures evolve toward compassion and service. This is referred to as “planetary mind polarization.” Societies naturally polarize toward service to self (control, hierarchy) or service to others (cooperation, freedom). Humans are tribal in nature, but are influences by outside forces.
The Law of One description of the Orion influence, negative energy, in beings who inspire manipulation and elitism in political systems. They exploit humanity’s free will to promote control, power, and separation.
We can that see that influence and parallels today’s media environment, psychological manipulation and thought control.
As all, they follow the Law of One observing free will which will not be infringed. Orion contact is made with those who call. Those then upon the planetary sphere act much as do you to disseminate the attitudes and philosophy of their particular understanding of the Law of One, which is service to self. These become the elite. Through these, the attempt begins to create a condition whereby the remainder of the planetary entities are enslaved by their own free will. 
In other words, some entities (or groups) act as channels of influence, using persuasion, propaganda, and disinformation to shape collective thought. Humanity has been dealing with this influence for a very long time. They appear “elite” in government, media, or corporations and control others through free-will consent, not by force. Enslavement by free will — people choose to believe the illusion.
This is how mass communication systems can amplify our belief systems distortion. The “media”, in any age , can either enlighten or enslave depending on its positive or negative, controlling or liberating the masses.
