The keys for spiritual growth are within you. We are all spiritual beings; we have forgotten who we are, why we are here and where we are going. Each of us are different and should seek the truth in our own way. Seeking the truth is an arduous journey, with many distractions and distortions.
The world population has more than doubled from 3 billion in 1960 to 8.0 billion today. One should consider the reason we have world information at our fingertips or why now is the world seeing new discoveries of ancient times with messages coming to the forefront during our lifetime? Why are we seeing the battle of good and evil before our very eyes?
Many of our ancient teachers, Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu and Krishna have told us to look within ourselves to find our answers. Jesus said in the Gospel of Thomas, discovered in 1945, “The kingdom is within you, and one who knows himself will find it.” Krishna from the Hindu religion said “When the mind becomes still, when thinking ceases, that is the beginning of the supreme path.”
And Buddha provides the same guidance when he said “ It is good to practice the Way and to seek truth. Being in harmony with the Way is even better.” And Lao Tzu said, “those who say have found the Way have not. That which is eternal cannot be spoken of. It Lies within.”
You have all the answers within yourself, all you have to do is seek the truth in your own way. Meditation, contemplation, prayer , study and helping others with love, compassion and wisdom should help all those on their spiritual journey.
