Natural Immunity is our Gift from God

Natural Immunity to COVID-19 Detected at 20 Months After Infection: Study

By Zachary Stieber

Protection against the virus that causes COVID-19 among the recovered was detected by researchers at 20 months post-infection, adding to the body of evidence that such protection, known as natural immunity, is long-lasting.

Researchers found antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein receptor-binding domain (RBD) in 99 percent of study participants who tested positive for COVID-19, with some having had the illness as long as 20 months prior.

SARS-CoV-2 is another name for the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19. Antibodies are a form of protection against the virus.

The researchers, led by Dr. Dorry Segev, the director of the Epidemiology Research Group in Organ Transplantation at Johns Hopkins University, put out a call for unvaccinated, healthy adults in the fall of 2021 and divided them into three groups. The first group consisted of 295 participants who had test-confirmed COVID-19 infections in the past; the second consisted of 275 participants who believed they recovered from COVID-19 but did not get a test; the third consisted of 246 people who did not think they ever had COVID-19 and had never tested positive.

In the first group, all but 2 of the participants tested positive for the antibodies, and there was no indication that the level of protection waned over time.

About 55 percent of the second group tested positive for anti-RBD antibodies, and the median level among those who did was lower.

The third group had the lowest percentage, 11 percent, of participants who had the antibodies and the level among those who did was the lowest.

“The major takeaway is that natural immunity … is strong and durable,” Segev told The Epoch Times in an email.

The peer-reviewed study, which was funded by charitable donations from the Ben-Dov family, was published by the Journal of the American Medical Association.

Dr. Nasia Safdar, a professor in the Division of Infectious Disease at the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine and Public Health, said the results were encouraging, “but likely applicable only to a healthy adult population, with the ability and resources to go get a blood draw.”

“We are probably missing the immunocompromised, older, frail group of people where immune response may be very different than other groups,” Safdar, who was not involved in the study, told The Epoch Times via email.

Dr. Jeffrey Klausner, a clinical professor of medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, added that the study “confirms that those with prior infection will have detectable antibody and that antibody may persistent for up to 20 months,” which should give people who recovered from COVID-19 confidence that they are protected and prompt officials imposing vaccine mandates to grant exceptions to the naturally immune.

“Unfortunately, still we do not know the exact level of antibody that is protective against infection versus disease or death but that matters less in the current context of living with COVID and accepting the fact that most people with prior infection or vaccination will not get seriously ill,” Klausner told The Epoch Times in an email.

The researchers who conducted the study noted that antibodies are just one measure of immunity. It remains unclear whether the anti-RBD antibodies will protect people against emerging virus variants, they said.

The Omicron variant became dominant in the United States in December 2021 and research suggests it can evade protection from vaccines and prior infection better than Delta, the strain it displaced.

Most previous studies have found that natural immunity is superior to vaccination, including while Delta was dominant. One study was backed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

A key question about the protection, though, is how long it will last. Some experts recommend people get at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine even if they’ve recovered from the disease due to the uncertainty, though others point to research indicating the vaccines would only give a small boost in protection to the naturally immune.

The new study was published several weeks after a different, non-peer reviewed paper found evidence of natural immunity at 18 months past infection in a collection of vaccinated and unvaccinated people.

Segev said he and other scientists are studying how Omicron affects the naturally immune, with plans to publish results on a preprint server soon.

Doctor panel discuss the medical crimes taking place.

Perhaps now, the world will begin to wakeup to the plandemic and realize the world is and was not as it seems.  What seems so unbelievable is now our reality.  What we have been told from the corrupt  mainstream media and bureaucrats  like Fauci and others is far from the truth.  YouTube, Facebook  and Google are just few of the corrupt corruptions attempting to censor the truth. The truth is out there,  but you have to want to know the truth. This is the greatest spiritual battle the world has ever known. Jesus tells us the truth will set you free and Buddha said  “Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.”

Omicron Variant May Cause Less Severe Disease: Report

December 6, 2021 Updated: December 7, 2021

The Omicron virus variant may lead to less severe cases of COVID-19 than earlier strains, according to data from South Africa, where the variant was first identified last month.

Most of the hospitalized patients admitted with COVID-19 did not need oxygen, a contrast to earlier in the pandemic, the South African Medical Research Council said in a new report.

Of 42 patients at a COVID-19 ward inside one of the hospitals in Gauteng Province, the epicenter of the latest wave, on Dec. 2, 70 percent did not need oxygen and had no respiratory symptoms, researchers said.

They described the patients as “incidental COVID admissions” because the patients were admitted to the hospital for a medical or surgical reason, not COVID-19.

Out of the 13 patients that required supplemental oxygen, nine had a diagnosis of COVID-19.

“This is a picture that has not been seen in previous waves. In the beginning of all three previous waves and throughout the course of these waves, there has always only been a sprinkling of patients on room air in the COVID ward and these patients have usually been in the recovery phase waiting for the resolution of a co-morbidity prior to discharge,” researchers said.

“The COVID ward was recognizable by the majority of patients being on some form of oxygen supplementation with the incessant sound of high flow nasal oxygen machines, or beeping ventilator alarms,” they added.

Another sign of optimism regarding Omicron? While COVID-19 cases have shot up in recent days, the in-hospital rate of deaths linked to the disease 6.6 percent in the previous two weeks before the report was published, versus 17 percent in the year-and-a-half preceding that time period.

“This may be due to the usual lag between cases and deaths and the trend will become clearer over the next few weeks,” said the researchers, who also cautioned against reading too much into the emerging data.

The first Omicron cases in southern Africa date back to Nov. 9.

Omicron is a variant of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19.

South Africa has seen cases soar since then, but the increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations and death have been minimal.

Dr. Angelique Coetzee, a practicing physician and head of the South African Medical Association, said last week that most of the Omicron patients have displayed mild symptoms and did not require hospital care.

There are fears the variant can better evade the protection bestowed by prior infection and/or vaccination, but it’s still too early to tell if that’s the case, experts say.

Most of the patients in the hospital with COVID-19 were unvaccinated, according to the research council

On the other hand, many of the patients in the United States who authorities have confirmed were sickened by the Omicron variant were vaccinated. Most have shown only mild symptoms and recovered without going to a hospital.

“Though it’s too early to really make any definitive statements about it, thus far, it does not look like there’s a great degree of severity to it,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top medical adviser to U.S. President Joe Biden, said on CNN on Sunday.

“But we have really got to be careful before we make any determinations that it is less severe or it really doesn’t cause any severe illness comparable to Delta,” he added, before describing the early signs as “encouraging.”

Some patients have seen severe disease, Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, a top official with the World Health Organization, added on CBS.

“Initial reports suggest that people with omicron tend to have more mild disease, but it’s too early to tell. And the reason for that is because it takes time for people to go through the full course of their infection. It may take some weeks before we actually understand how many of those individuals will go on to develop severe disease,” she said.

The World Is About To Change

And We Know; South Africa Doctor confirms there is no need to panic over Omicron variant; EU Politician says it is time to arrest Globalists and more

As we live our lives through this  insanity, we have to ask ourselves why is this happening.   There are many different responses but one comes to mind that we have allowed it, not willingly, but through their programming and propaganda called operation mockingbird using every tool available to them. Since they have all the money, they have all the resources we see working against us today.

Perhaps we should consider it is happened to wake us up spiritually and to realize our true selves.  The world is not as it seems and it apparently never was. Daily,  we are learning what we have been taught and believe  is not exactly true.  We have been living in the physical world and ignoring the metaphysical world. The two worlds are inseparable. They want to control us, our body,  mind and spirit. Professor Astrid Stuckelberger explains what she understands.

They Just keep coming with New Deadly Variants; Ghislaine Maxwell; Save our Children and More

Omicron variant, known as  B.1.1.529 is more misinformation to distract attention from Ghislaine Maxwell Trial that starts today and trying to get our children jabbed by their poison.

Variant B.1.1.529 was identified in November 2021 in Botswana and South Africa; one case had travelled to Hong Kong, one confirmed case was identified in Israel in a traveler returning from Malawi, along with two who returned from South Africa and one from Madagascar. It is known to have dramatic genetic differences from other variants.

As of Nov. 27, the variant had spread to Europe with cases detected in two people in the United Kingdom, two in Germany and at least one in Italy, according to health officials in their respective countries.

Public health officials are studying the new variant but its significance for the pandemic is not yet known. “Preliminary evidence suggests an increased risk of reinfection with this variant, as compared to other variants of concern,” said the World Health Organization on Friday, Nov 26.

The US banned travelers from South Africa and seven nearby countries out of concern over the new variant.
