Supreme Court Rules New York’s Concealed Carry Gun Law Is Unconstitutional, Recognizes Right to Carry in Public

Justice Thomas: Law violates Constitution by preventing law-abiding citizens from defending themselves in public

June 23, 2022 Updated: June 23, 2022

The Supreme Court voted 6–3 on June 23 to strike down New York state’s draconian concealed carry gun permitting system on constitutional grounds, recognizing for the first time a constitutional right to carry firearms in public for self-defense.

The ruling is a sweeping victory for Second Amendment gun ownership rights and may help to undo restrictive gun control laws outside New York state, possibly including so-called red flag laws, which allow the confiscation of guns in certain circumstances with limited due process.

The Second Amendment states: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The Supreme Court has been strengthening Second Amendment protections in recent years, and observers have said that the court’s six-member conservative supermajority could help expand gun ownership protections. In District of Columbia v. Heller (2008), the Supreme Court held that the Second Amendment protects “the individual right to possess and carry weapons in case of confrontation,” and in McDonald v. City of Chicago (2010), it held that this right “is fully applicable to the States.”

The ruling comes amid rising crime rates, activist demands to defund police departments, and a Biden administration push to strengthen gun control policies. A legislative package, introduced in the wake of a series of high-profile mass shootings, is moving forward in Congress.

Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the National Rifle Association (NRA) hailed the decision, calling it a “watershed win for good men and women all across America” and taking credit for the victory after “a decades-long fight the NRA has led.”

“The right to self-defense and to defend your family and loved ones should not end at your home,” LaPierre said.

President Joe Biden condemned the new ruling, which he said “contradicts both common sense and the Constitution and should deeply trouble us all.”

“I call on Americans across the country to make their voices heard on gun safety. Lives are on the line,” Biden said.

The Empire State’s gun permit law, as with laws in seven other states, generally requires an applicant to demonstrate “proper cause” in order to obtain a license to carry a concealed handgun in public.

New York makes it a crime to possess a firearm without a license, whether inside or outside the home. An individual who wants to carry a firearm outside his home may obtain an unrestricted license to “have and carry” a concealed “pistol or revolver” if he can prove that “proper cause exists” for doing so, according to state law. An applicant satisfies the “proper cause” requirement only if he can “demonstrate a special need for self-protection distinguishable from that of the general community,” according to a 1980 ruling by the Supreme Court of New York in Klenosky v. New York City Police Department.

The specific issue before the court was whether the state’s denial of the petitioning individuals’ applications for concealed carry licenses for self-defense violates the U.S. Constitution.

Oral arguments in the case, New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen, court file 20-843, an appeal from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, were heard on Nov. 3.

Respondent Kevin Bruen heads the New York State Police. Founded in 1871, the lead petitioner, the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association, describes itself as “the state’s largest and nation’s oldest firearms advocacy organization,” and as the official NRA-affiliated state association in New York.

The majority opinion (pdf) was written by Justice Clarence Thomas, who declared that New York’s proper-cause requirement violates the 14th Amendment by preventing law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms in public for self-defense.

“Because the State of New York issues public-carry licenses only when an applicant demonstrates a special need for self-defense, we conclude that the State’s licensing regime violates the Constitution,” Thomas wrote, before quoting Konigsberg v. State Bar of California (1961).

“In keeping with Heller, we hold that when the Second Amendment’s plain text covers an individual’s conduct, the Constitution presumptively protects that conduct. To justify its regulation, the government … must demonstrate that the regulation is consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation. Only if a firearm regulation is consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition may a court conclude that the individual’s conduct falls outside the Second Amendment’s ‘unqualified command.’”

It makes no sense to deny Americans the ability to defend themselves outside their homes, he said.

“To confine the right to ‘bear’ arms to the home would nullify half of the Second Amendment’s operative protections. Moreover, confining the right to ‘bear’ arms to the home would make little sense given that self-defense is ‘the central component of the [Second Amendment] right itself,’” Thomas wrote, quoting the Heller opinion.

“After all, the Second Amendment guarantees an ‘individual right to possess and carry weapons in case of confrontation,’ and confrontation can surely take place outside the home. … Many Americans hazard greater danger outside the home than in it.”

In a concurring opinion, Justice Samuel Alito wrote that in 1791 when the Second Amendment was adopted, “there were no police departments, and many families lived alone on isolated farms or on the frontiers. If these people were attacked, they were on their own. It is hard to imagine the furor that would have erupted if the Federal Government and the States had tried to take away the guns that these people needed for protection. Today, unfortunately, many Americans have good reason to fear that they will be victimized if they are unable to protect themselves. And today, no less than in 1791, the Second Amendment guarantees their [rights].”

Justice Stephen Breyer wrote a dissenting opinion, which Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan joined.

“In 2020, 45,222 Americans were killed by firearms. Since the start of this year (2022), there have been 277 reported mass shootings—an average of more than one per day. Gun violence has now surpassed motor vehicle crashes as the leading cause of death among children and adolescents. Many States have tried to address some of the dangers of gun violence just described by passing laws that limit, in various ways, who may purchase, carry, or use firearms of different kinds. The Court today severely burdens States’ efforts to do so.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court said Thursday that Americans have a right to carry guns in public, a major expansion of gun rights. The justices’ 6-3 decision follows a series of recent mass shootings and is expected to ultimately allow more people to legally carry guns on the streets of the nation’s largest cities — including New York, Los Angeles and Boston — and elsewhere.

‘It’s Genocide’: Family Alleges Ominous Conclusion in Seeking Answers to Their Daughter’s Death

By Matt McGregor
June 19, 2022 Updated: June 19, 2022

Eight months after his 19-year-old daughter Grace died in a hospital after having been given a combination of a sedative, an anxiety medication, and morphine, Scott Schara and his family continue to bring attention to why they think she died, and who’s responsible.

Their most recent billboard campaign targets St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin, where his daughter with Down’s syndrome passed.

Hospital staff driving to and from work would have a hard time not seeing the billboards that ask, “Was Grace given a lethal combination of meds at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital? Intentional? … Who’s Next?”

Others ask, “Was Grace labeled Do Not Resuscitate without family consent at St. E’s?”

Grace died in October 2021, a month after COVID-19 vaccine mandates had been announced by President Joe Biden.

People who didn’t want to take the experimental vaccine were being fired, while unvaccinated patients in hospitals were being treated much differently than the vaccinated.

Reports from people such as Anne Quiner in Minnesota painted a picture of medical discrimination and unusual hospital protocols that many, like Quiner, alleged led to the death of their loved ones.

According to Schara, Grace, who, like the rest of her family, was unvaccinated, was admitted to St. Elizabeth’s for COVID-19 respiratory issues on Oct. 6 but had been recovering when the doctor began giving her a sedative called Precedex.

Schara said there were frequent incidents of discrimination regarding Grace’s unvaccinated status, and their choice to use other early treatment medications that weren’t approved by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Grace was on Precedex for four days preceding her last day, Schara told The Epoch Times, despite severe risks associated with being on the drug for longer than 24 hours.

On Oct. 13, the day Grace died, she was given—in addition to the Precedex—Lorazepam, and morphine within a 29-minute window, Schara said, even though the package insert for morphine warns against using it in combination with the other two drugs because it can result in death.

With an armed guard standing near the doorway of her room at the hospital, Schara said Grace’s sister and patient advocate begged nurses she saw in the hallway to revive Grace as their parents watched from Facetime, joining her in their pleas.

There was nothing to be done, a nurse responded because Grace had been coded as Do Not Resuscitate (DNR), a label that Scott said must be legally approved and signed off on by the medical power of attorney, who was Grace’s mother, Cindy.

The family said this never happened.

“Why would we agree to a DNR when we would not only want the doctors to save our daughter at any cost but also the morning of Grace’s last day, the doctor recommended a feeding tube to start the process of getting Grace home?” he asked.

The doctor had told the family, Schara said, that Grace “had a good day yesterday; we should work on nutrition,” before recommending a feeding tube.

Medical records seen by The Epoch Times show that the DNR order was put into the system eight minutes after a maximum dose of Precedex was administered at 10:48 a.m., on Grace’s last day, which Schara calls the “smoking gun.”

“She had been on Precedex for four days at this point, then they gave her close to the maximum dose,” he said. “Eight minutes later, the doctor puts the illegal DNR on her.”

According to her death certificate, Grace died of acute respiratory failure with hypoxemia.

Schara said “respiratory failure” is a direct side effect of using Precedex for more than 24 hours.

“Of course, COVID-19 pneumonia is listed as the second cause of death in order for the hospital to receive the killing bonus from the government,” he said.

‘We Are in a Spiritual Battle’

Since then, Schara said he has continued investigating and has found even more negligence.

To bring attention to what happened, he’s been on over 100 media outlets, and has even held a rally with city approval outside of the hospital, he said.

Schara said the family has committed over $300,000 to the campaigns, $225,454 of that is for the billboards they put up through May 2023.

“Money is temporary,” Schara said. “I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. We are in a spiritual battle, and people must realize that.”

After telling his story to a wider audience, Robin Riley from Newtown, Connecticut, reached out to Schara on Grace’s website to share her own experience.

Riley’s and Schara’s stories share many similarities. Riley told The Epoch Times that her daughter with Down’s syndrome, 37-year-old Megan, was admitted to a hospital for COVID-19 and put on numerous tranquilizers and Fentanyl, as well as remdesivir.

Megan was also labeled as DNR, which Riley said she had never approved, and didn’t know until she got Megan’s records.

Megan died on Dec. 9, 2021, Riley said.

After discovering that the hospital had put Megan on DNR, Riley said it made her grief worse.

“Because they had her on DNR the whole time, I just keep thinking, did the doctors do everything they could to save her?” she asked.

‘There Was No Reason to Sedate Her’

For Schara, none of this is a coincidence, he said.

For the combination of meds given to Grace, the doctor had to order, a pharmacist had to sign off, the hospital medication alarm had to be overridden, and in Grace’s case, a 14-year ICU nurse delivered the lethal combination, Schara said.

“We were not provided informed consent about the drugs administered to Grace, nor did we know they were being administered in the first place,” Schara said. “There was no reason to sedate her. There was no reason to give her Lorazepam–an anti-anxiety drug–while she was knocked out from Precedex. There was no reason to give her morphine. The Nuremberg Code was created to ensure people would have informed consent in regard to any medical procedure, and to be able to opt out of such things. St. Elizabeth’s ignored providing informed consent and they ignored all the warnings in the package inserts.”

Schara first thought the hospital protocols leading up to her death were about the hospital getting federal reimbursements; however, now he suspects a motive much worse: hospitals are taking federal funding to enact COVID protocols that were not only killing the unvaccinated but the disabled, he said.

He cited one 2020 study from the UK Office for National Statistics that show that disabled people had made up about three-fifths of COVID-related deaths in England and Wales.

“Disabled females between nine and 64 were even more at risk, in comparison with non-disabled females in the same age group, with a rate of death 10.8 times higher,” he said.

He cited a 2021 report from the University of Minnesota’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy that stated that intellectual disability is second to old age as a risk factor for COVID-19 deaths.

“In unadjusted analysis, compared with 431,669 patients without intellectual disabilities, the 127,003 patients with intellectual disabilities were more suspectable to hospitalization, intensive care admission, and death,” he said.

He’s collected several additional studies and articles that support the theory that the disabled are at higher risk.

Combining that with his own experience, he thinks the disabled with COVID-19 are purposely being murdered.

He points to an article from NPR that tells the story of Melissa Hickson, who claimed a hospital where her quadriplegic husband was admitted for COVID-19 denied him life-saving treatment because of his disability.

The Milgram Experiment

All these reports and studies connect for Schara, implying ominous motives funded not only by money, but blind obedience, he said, alluding to a set of experiments in the 1960s that tested how far a person would go to follow orders.

“In the Milgram experiments, these psychologists tested the willingness of the participants in how far they would go to administer electric shock treatment to their peers under orders from an authority figure,” Schara said.

The experiments were held at Yale University by Stanley Milgram three months after the start of the trial of German Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann.

Milgram’s intent of the experiments was to study the psychology of genocide, he explained in his reports.

‘Death Protocols’

Todd Callender, an international lawyer with Disabled Rights Advocates and legal counsel to Truth for Health Foundation, previously told The Epoch Times that the “death protocols” being enacted in hospitals are passed down hierarchically from the World Health Organization to the Centers for Disease Control and the National Institute of Health, using the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act and Health and Human Services authorization to release funding for the declared pandemic that sets the protocols in motion.

From there, hospitals that are federally funded through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) use coding tied to NIH and CDC-written protocols. If those hospitals take that funding, they must follow those protocols, starting with ICD-10 codes (International Classification of Diseases).

According to Callender, the CDC and NIH protocols are based on the WHO’s 2005 International Health Regulations which directs each of its 196 signatory countries to cede all sovereign powers to the WHO in the case of a declared health emergency.

“The WHO then directs the various state health bodies—in this case, the CDC and NIH—on treatment,” Callender said. “This is why every country is responding in the same way at the same time globally; it’s a back door to a one-world dictatorial government.”

When these protocols are passed down to the hospitals that take funding, under the emergency declaration, patients’ rights are waived under the CMS COVID waiver program in conjunction with the PREP and CARES Act, giving participating hospitals legal immunity.

Patients admitted for a broken arm can be given a COVID-19 test that “will almost always come back positive,” then are admitted and put on an IV with a tranquilizer that lowers oxygen levels, which then justifies putting the patient into COVID isolation where the antiviral drug remdesivir—which Callender called “lethal”—is added to the bag before being moved into the intensive care unit where the patient is then given morphine and fentanyl while being deprived of nutrition, he said.

“Everybody talks about their fear of FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) death camps,” Callender said.  “Well, they’re already here; they’re called hospitals.”

Each of these procedures brings in high federal reimbursements of up to hundreds of thousands of dollars, Callender said.

Tom Renz, an attorney with America’s Frontline Doctors and Make Americans Free Again—organizations that oppose unconstitutional federal health mandates—hosts his own show on Brighteon TV where he interviewed Schara.

He told The Epoch Times that, because the PREP and CARES Acts have been passed, it’s made it impossible to sue hospitals because they convey immunity to these hospitals.

“Through those acts, we’ve given hospitals as much immunity as we’ve given vaccine makers as long as the state of emergency is continuing,” he said. “And we’ve got to ask ourselves, why is there still a national emergency?”

In addition to immunity, hospitals get federal funding through the CARES Act, which gives a 20 percent increase in reimbursement to hospitals for inpatient stays resulting from COVID-19, Renz said.

“The laws are structured in a way that incentivizes hospitals to kill people,” Renz said. “The hospital makes more money if you die from COVID-19 than if you recover from it. Why don’t we incentivize hospitals for getting people cured of COVID?”

Renz supports Schara’s conclusion that the hospital killed Grace, he said.

“Can you imagine watching your daughter die on Facetime, begging the hospital to revive her, and they say, ‘No, we are not going to do that,’ claiming that they have a DNR that you didn’t agree to?” he asked. “I mean, can you imagine the horror? No person should have to go through that, and we’ve got to have accountability.”

Like Schara’s response from the hospital, Riley said the hospital contended that the family agreed to the DNR.

In a Dec. 15 letter to the Schara family, the hospital said that “multiple and in-depth discussions and explanations occurred with you, your wife and family in regards to resuscitation and intubation. The medical record documentation on October 13, 2021, reflects additional discussion and confirmation of the family decisions related to resuscitation and intubation interventions should Grace’s condition deteriorate.”

“What a bunch of crap,” Schara said, reemphasizing that his family never agreed to a DNR.

“The doctors only discussed the concept of DNR,” Schara said. “Why would we agree to a DNR when he just got done telling us that Grace had such a good day yesterday that we should work on nutrition?”

St. Elizabeth’s Hospital did not respond to The Epoch Times’ request for comment.

‘Genocide’

There’s a pattern, Schara said, that he hasn’t been able to ignore.

“If I would have listened to me saying these words now seven months ago, I would have thought, at best he’s become a conspiracy theorist; at worst: a whack job,”  he said.

However, too many incidences of negligence have lined up to be a coincidence, he said.

“At first I thought this was about money, but it’s clear to me now that money was used to simply grease the wheels to accomplish a bigger agenda, which, in my opinion, is genocide,” he said.

‘Severely Flawed’: Cardiologist Criticizes FDA-Funded Study Suggesting Myocarditis, Pericarditis Risks from COVID-19 Vaccines

Severely flawed” is a cardiologist’s verdict on a peer-reviewed study funded by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) suggesting possible risks of developing myocarditis and pericarditis after getting a COVID-19 vaccine.

The recent FDA study published on June 11, 2022, used health insurance databases to identify myocarditis or pericarditis hospitalizations occurring in people aged 18 to 64 years, 1 to 7 days after a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

The authors found that though only 12 to 14 percent of the studied cohort were 18- to 25-year-olds, 33 to 42 percent of the myocarditis or pericarditis events occurred in people of this age group, suggesting that this age group may be linked with these vaccine adverse events.

“These results do not indicate a statistically significant risk difference between mRNA-1273 (the Moderna vaccine) and BNT162b2 (the Pfizer vaccine), but it should not be ruled out that a difference might exist,” the authors wrote in the study.

However, cardiologist Dr. Sanjay Verma told The Epoch Times that the study “using a 7-day limit for clinical endpoints” for myocarditis or pericarditis events after vaccination was “severely flawed.”

Verma, who practices in Coachella Valley, California, has been seeing many more heart problems since the vaccines rolled out.

“Continued increased risk [of myocarditis or pericarditis]” was found by the Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC)’s Reports (MMWR) “even at 21 days after vaccination,” Verma wrote in an email.

Explaining that spike proteins have been found in blood circulation even four months after injection, “there is no medical justification for a 7- or 21-day cutoff,” he said.

Further, a British pre-print led by researchers from the University of Oxford found “continued increased risk of myocarditis after the booster,” which was not assessed by the FDA study.

Verma pointed out further issues in the study, stating that it does not include 12- to 17-year-olds, “who are the highest risk cohort.”

The same CDC MMWR report also found that the 12- to 17-year-old cohort has “2 to 3 times increased incidence compared to the 18- to 29-year-old cohort,” the doctor explained.

After the second dose, males aged 12 to 17 years had an incidence of 22.0 to 35.9 myocarditis or pericarditis cases out of 100,000 as compared to males aged 18 to 29 years who had an incidence of 6.5 to 15 cases out of 100,000, demonstrating that teens have a higher risk than adults.

Verma also added that “the study does not account for those who may have died before hospitalization,” who would not be “included in insurance claims database.”

Nonetheless, the cardiologist noted a “tremendous improvement” in the study for using health insurance databases as compared to prior FDA studies that exclusively relied on the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which would most likely result in a lower incidence of cases.

“Overall, the findings of the study are interesting, but the above limitations likely yield significant underestimation of the true risk of myocarditis or pericarditis after COVID vaccination.”

“Public safety and ethical post market pharmacovigilance warrants more robust active longitudinal follow-up to ensure informed consent and appropriate risk stratification counseling,” Verma concluded.

Western media and politicians prefer to ignore the truth about civilians killed in Donetsk shelling

When Kiev’s guilt in attacks on a maternity hospital cannot be denied, it’s simply brushed under the carpet
Eva Bartlett

Eva Bartlett is a Canadian independent journalist. She has spent years on the ground covering conflict zones in the Middle East, especially in Syria and Palestine (where she lived for nearly four years).

Western media and politicians prefer to ignore the truth about civilians killed in Donetsk shelling

Following intense Ukrainian shelling of Donetsk on June 13, some Western media sources, in tandem with outlets in Kiev, unsurprisingly claimed that the attack – which killed at least five civilians and struck a busy maternity hospital – was perpetrated by Russian forces.

Why Moscow would launch rockets at its own allies wasn’t explained, nor would it make much sense.

The Donetsk People’s Republic’s foreign ministry reported“Such an unprecedented. in terms of power, density and duration of fire, raid on the DPR capital was not recorded during the entire period of the armed conflict [since 2014]. In two hours, almost 300 MLRS rockets and artillery shells were fired.”

The Ukrainian shelling began late morning, resumed in the afternoon, and continued for another two hours in the evening, a deafening series of blasts throughout the city, terrorizing residents and targeting apartment buildings, civilian infrastructure, the aforementioned hospital, and industrial buildings.

Locals say this was some of the heaviest bombing of Donetsk since 2014, when the region declared its independence from post-Maidan Kiev.

In the Budyonnovsky district in the south of the city, Ukrainian shelling of a market killed five civilians including one child. Just two months ago, Kiev’s forces hit another Donetsk market, leaving four civilians dead.

In the hard-hit Kievskiy district, to the north, the shelling caused fires at a water bottling plant and a warehouse for stationery, destroying it. The building was still in flames when journalist Roman Kosarev and I arrived about an hour after the attack. Apartment buildings in the area also came under fire, leaving doors and windows blown out and cars destroyed.

The destroyed gas station was on a street where I stayed in April, which is completely residential.

DPR head Denis Pushilin said“The enemy literally crossed all the lines. Prohibited methods of warfare are being used, residential and central districts of Donetsk are being shelled, other cities and settlements of the DPR are also under fire now.”

Hypocritical silence after maternity hospital shelling

In a world where media reported honestly instead of manufacturing its own reality, there would be outrage over Ukraine’s attack on the Donetsk maternity hospital. But history shows that is not a world we live in.

As I wrote last year, Western media and talking heads also diligently avoided condemnation when terrorists attacked or destroyed Syrian hospitals, including the shelling of a maternity hospital in Aleppo, which killed three women.

At the damaged Donetsk hospital, I saw the gaping hole in the roof and remnants of the Uragan MLRS rocket which struck it. Most of the windows of both buildings were blown out.

Images shared on Twitter noted, “Both gynecology and intensive care have been bombed.”  Other footage, taken by Donetsk war correspondent Dmitri Ashtrakhan, showed dozens of women, some heavily pregnant, taking shelter in the basement of the shelled maternity hospital.

Were these women and this hospital in Kiev, you can bet Western media would be loudly reporting it 24/7 for weeks. Instead, just as the West has steadfastly ignored Ukraine’s eight years of war on Donbass, they also omit reporting on the hospital.

Grotesquely, some Ukrainian and Western media instead disingenuously reported that it was a Russian attack, not Ukrainian, which terrorized, injured and killed civilians on June 13.

Just as Western media’s lack of reporting, or twisting of the narrative, on Ukraine’s shelling was to be expected, so too was the UN’s weak-worded condemnation, with the Spokesman for the Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, calling it “extremely troubling.” Were the situation reversed and Russia responsible for bombing a Ukrainian maternity hospital, his words would almost certainly have been far stronger.

In fact, they already have been: Three months ago, when Kiev accused Russia of an attack on a maternity hospital, in Mariupol.

Back then, the Guterres emphatically tweeted“Today’s attack on a hospital in Mariupol, Ukraine, where maternity & children’s wards are located, is horrific. Civilians are paying the highest price for a war that has nothing to do with them. This senseless violence must stop. End the bloodshed now.”

RT

A strong reaction to what later emerged to be a hoax claim, when the UN itself even admitted it could not verify the story. But a mild reaction to a documented reality in Donetsk.

The UN did, at least, rightly note the attack on the Donetsk maternity hospital was, “an obvious breach of the international humanitarian law.” So there’s that.

The thing is, Ukraine has violated international law for its eight years of waging war on the Donbass republics, using prohibited heavy weapons and targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure. This is only the latest incident.

Tears flow for hoax hospital bombing

In March, Western corporate-owned media supported Kiev’s claim that Russia had launched air strikes on a Mariupol maternity hospital, claiming three civilians had been killed. At the time, as reported“The White House condemned the ‘barbaric’ use of force against innocent civilians, and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted that ‘there are few things more depraved than targeting the vulnerable and defenceless’.”

As it turned out, witnesses reported there hadn’t been any air strike. There were explosions: just as terrorists bombed an Aleppo home in 2016 and used a mildly injured boy for their propaganda against Syria and Russia, so too did Ukrainian forces in Mariupol, setting the stage to incriminate Moscow.

Russia called the accusations “a completely staged provocation,” analyzing photos from the area and noting “evidence of two separate staged explosions near the hospital: An underground explosion and another of minor power, aimed at the hospital building,” and further noting that a “high-explosive aviation bomb would destroy the outer walls of the building.”

Russia also pointed out that the facility had stopped working when Ukraine’s neo-Nazi Azov Battalion expelled staff in late February and militarized the hospital, as Ukrainian forces did elsewhere in Donbass.

Marianna Vyshemirskaya, one of the women featured in the Western propaganda around the hospital, later spoke out and said there was no air strike, and that prior to the alleged event, Ukrainian soldiers expelled all the doctors and moved pregnant women to another building.

She also maintained that she and other women were filmed without warning by an Associated Press journalist dressed in a military uniform and wearing a helmet.

Even three days after Ukraine’s intense bombardment of Donetsk and targeting of the maternity hospital, when still more testimonies have emerged, Western media and politicians remained silent.

The suffering, and deaths, of the people of Donetsk doesn’t fit the Western narrative, so they misreport it or simply just don’t reference it at all, enabling Ukraine to continue to commit war crimes.

The statements, views and opinions expressed in this column are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of RT.

17.30 Questioner: Well, if an entity wants to learn ways of it, wants to be of service to others rather than service to self while he is in this third density, are there best ways of being of service to others, or is any way just as good as any other way?

Ra: I am Ra. The best way to be of service to others has been explicitly covered in previous material. We will iterate briefly.

The best way of service to others is the constant attempt to seek to share the love of the Creator as it is known to the inner self. This involves self knowledge and the ability to open the self to the other-self without hesitation. This involves, shall we say, radiating that which is the essence or the heart of the mind/body/spirit complex.

Speaking to the intention of your question, the best way for each seeker in third density to be of service to others is unique to that mind/body/spirit complex. This means that the mind/body/spirit complex must then seek within itself the intelligence of its own discernment as to the way it may best serve other-selves. This will be different for each. There is no best. There is no generalization. Nothing is known. Law of One

Edgar Cayce And The Children Of Law Of One

65.9 Questioner: We would seem to have dual catalysts operating, and the question is which one is going to act first. The prophecies, I will call them, made by Edgar Cayce indicated many Earth changes and I am wondering about the mechanics of describing what we call the future. Ra, it has been stated, is not a part of time and yet we concern ourselves with probability/possibility vortices. It is very difficult for me to understand how the mechanism of prophecy operates. What is the value of a prophecy such as Cayce made with respect to Earth changes with respect to all of these scenarios?

Ra: I am Ra. Consider the shopper entering the store to purchase food with which to furnish the table for the time period you call a week. Some stores have some items, others a variant set of offerings. We speak of these possibility/probability vortices when asked with the understanding that such are as a can, jar, or portion of goods in your store.

It is unknown to us as we scan your time/space whether your peoples will shop hither or yon. We can only name some of the items available for the choosing. The, shall we say, record which the one you call Edgar read from is useful in that same manner. There is less knowledge in this material of other possibility/probability vortices and more attention paid to the strongest vortex. We see the same vortex but also see many others. Edgar’s material could be likened unto one hundred boxes of your cold cereal, another vortex likened unto three, or six, or fifty of another product which is eaten by your peoples for breakfast. That you will breakfast is close to certain. The menu is your own choosing.

The value of prophecy must be realized to be only that of expressing possibilities. Moreover, it must be, in our humble opinion, carefully taken into consideration that any time/space viewing, whether by one of your time/space or by one such as we who view the time/space from a dimension, shall we say, exterior to it will have a quite difficult time expressing time measurement values. Thus prophecy given in specific terms is more interesting for the content or type of possibility predicted than for the space/time nexus of its supposed occurrence. Law of One

Depressed Woman Dies on Operating Table, Sees Heaven and Future Events, Returns to Life a New Person

BY TARA MACISAAC TIMEJUNE 12, 2022

Tricia Barker was depressed. She was 21 years old, in college studying English, unsure what career would follow, and generally feeling that life was hopeless and painful. She tried to take her own life by washing a handful of pills down with alcohol.

She woke up 36 hours later still in her own room. She didn’t tell anyone she had attempted suicide, but decided to move forward with her life. As a symbol of getting her life back on track, she started training for a 10 km race.

On the way to the race, she had a terrible car accident.

After her suicide attempt, Barker trained to run a 10 km race as a way to recover from deep depression. After weeks of training, she was on her way to run the race when she had a head-on collision. Her back was broken in several places, she couldn’t feel her legs, and she had internal injuries. Without health insurance, it took nearly 20 hours to find a surgeon who would operate on her. She spent those 20 hours lying in the hospital without painkillers or any relief.

Finally on the operating table, Barker was anesthetized.

In an instant, her spirit left her body.

“The anesthesiologist put the mask over me and then I was out of my body,” she said, snapping her fingers to show how quickly it happened.

“At the time, I was agnostic and so I was so shocked the spirit goes on. I wanted to pop back in my body, wake up, and tell all my friends, ‘Hey, we do go on!’” she recounted in a video she made, sharing her experience.

She saw her own body on the table, with her back opened up and blood everywhere. Two angels came to her and calmed her. She saw them send light through the surgeons and into her body.

At that moment, she knew the surgeons would be able to remove the debris from her back and she would walk again.

But that’s when she saw the monitor flatline.

While her body lay there dead, she visited her loved ones and saw events that were later verified to have really happened.

Distressed at seeing her body there dead, unsure how the doctors could revive her, she didn’t want to view the scene any longer. With that thought, she was instantly in the hallway.

This is where something happened that has made her case of great interest to near-death experience (NDE) researchers. She saw her stepfather, a health nut who would never touch sweets, getting a candy bar from a vending machine in the hallway of the hospital and eating it. This was later verified to have really happened.

Such an event is called a “veridical perception.” Veridical perceptions are observations a person remembers from an out-of-body experience that can be independently verified. These are things that they could not have known through ordinary means.

Some scientists, like neurologist Kevin Nelson at the University of Kentucky, try to explain NDEs as processes in the brain similar to those that occur when a person dreams or suddenly loses oxygen.

Scientists have tried to explain NDEs as processes in the brain, but Dr. Jan Holden says none of those explanations can account for the phenomenon.

Yet Dr. Jan Holden, a professor at the University of North Texas and a long-time NDE researcher, has identified about 100 cases of veridical perception. She has determined through her examination of hundreds of NDE cases that this common phenomenon cannot be explained through the kind of ordinary processes proposed by Nelson.

“Any material explanation that’s been attempted doesn’t account for some of the things that happen in NDEs,” Holden said in a recorded lecture she gave to present her book, “The Handbook of Near-Death Experiences.” “None of those models can explain how Tricia knew that her stepfather was vending a candy bar while she was unconscious and flatlined in the surgical room.”

Barker’s is one of the many NDE cases Holden has investigated.

One in five people who have a brush with death have an out-of-body experience.

Holden has found that about one out of every five people who have a brush with death have a similarly profound out-of-body experience. Many people don’t discuss them openly, for fear of ridicule. Some NDEers have even been put in psychiatric care because of talking about their experiences.

But Holden has found that the mental health of NDEers reflects that of the population at large. These people are as sane and rational as anyone else. The impacts of these experiences are vastly positive. About 90 percent of people who have an NDE find it a pleasant experience, and many of them come back happier and with a strong sense of purpose.

“I had never felt any love like that — a mom’s love, romantic love, nothing could compare.”

Barker’s experience didn’t end with the candy bar. She heard the silent prayers of her mother, her aunt, and others. When she heard the sorrow in her family’s prayers, she almost wanted to go back. But a light beckoned. “The light was so incredible, I had never felt any love like that — a mom’s love, romantic love, nothing could compare,” she recalled.

She found herself in a field more real and beautiful than anything on Earth. Her grandfather, who had already died, was there with her.

Epoch Times Photo
(Illustration – Belight/Shutterstock)

Then she saw hundreds of lights, and she knew that each represented a future student of hers. She knew she should be a teacher; that would be her career path. Not only would she teach English, but she would teach others about what she had experienced in death.

She felt what it was like to be on the receiving end of her actions, what impact she had on others.

The past as well as the future flashed before her. It wasn’t necessarily the major events or relationships in her life that were emphasized, but rather her interactions with people who had played small roles. There were people she didn’t connect with because she thought they were different from her, but she saw that they had prayed for her and worried about her when she was depressed.

She was able to feel and see how her actions toward others impacted them. Holden said this is a common experience during NDEs. It often makes NDEers more committed to considering others in their actions, because they know that at the end of their lives they will have to experience again all of the feelings they cause in others.

She felt that the angels and God did not judge her negatively for the things she had done.

Although Barker felt remorse for some of her actions, she felt that the angels and God did not judge her negatively for the things she had done. They felt sad for some of the choices she made, but they didn’t judge her in a bad way. They just wanted what was best for her.

She saw that when she attempted suicide she had multiple paths around her she could have taken instead. She could have reached out to people around her.

Epoch Times Photo
(The Epoch Times)

She saw that the main choice she should have made was to be good to herself, to treasure herself, and treat herself with compassion. “When you believe you are worthy of your own love, you start creating a life around you that is so much better,” she said.

Though it was hard for her to see her mistakes in life, the overall experience was immensely joyful. She didn’t want to return to her body, but was told by God that she had to come back. She would help others understand that there is an afterlife and would help people let go of their fear.

Her body felt like a costume, as she realized it was just something her eternal soul would wear for a relatively short time on Earth.

When she slipped back into her body, she felt so limited after her transcendent experience. Her body felt like a “costume,” and at first, she spoke of herself in the third person, like “Tricia Barker” was just a limited incarnation of her eternal being.

Barker recovered from her back injuries, as she had seen she would during her out-of-body experience. Just one year later, she ran the 10 km race. Not only did it symbolize her recovery after attempted suicide, but also her vitality after a near-death experience that changed her profoundly.

Senator Chuck Grassley and Sussmann Trial Exposes Hillary Clinton; Vladimir Putin Has Upset The “Balance“; Hospitals are Selling Babies; FBI Has ‘Secure’ Workspace in Law Firm That Represents Democrats and More

Senator Chuck Grassley Exposes Hillary Clinton (fabricated evidence, coordinated with corrupt media, corrupt FBI and co-conspirators at the DOJ).
Bill Barr says that the Sussmann trial produced admissible evidence that “the Hillary Clinton campaign engineered this whole play of twerking up this whole false narrative and getting it to the FBI.”
He also thinks that the upcoming Danchenko trial should shed some light on why the FBI took the fake information seriously.

FBI Has ‘Secure’ Workspace in Law Firm That Represents Democrats: Document

By Zachary Stieber
June 5, 2022 Updated: June 5, 2022

The FBI has a workspace in the same law firm that employed the lawyer who took sketchy claims about Donald Trump and Russia to the bureau in 2016, the firm revealed in a new document.

The workspace, known as a “secure work environment,” within Perkins Coie’s office in Washington was cleared by the FBI on March 26, 2012, and has been “in continuous operation since then,” Michael Bopp, an attorney representing Perkins Coie, told members of Congress in a May 25 letter that was reviewed by The Epoch Times.

What’s more, Michael Sussmann, the lawyer who took the claims against Trump to the FBI’s nearby headquarters ahead of the 2016 election, had access to the workspace through July 2021, according to the missive.

The workspace was created in 2011 and includes a General Services Administration-approved security container and a key locker, both of which were paid for by Perkins Coie. It also features a secure telephone, a fax machine, and a security token card, each of which is owned by the bureau.

The workspace is maintained by Perkins Coie and periodically inspected by the FBI to ensure the space “is operating in accordance with the requisite standards,” according to the letter.

“The Democrat Party’s law firm … has this co-located workspace that they operate in concert with the FBI. Why in the world would that be the case?” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said on Fox News, which first reported on the letter sent to Gaetz and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).

The FBI indicated that the workspace is lawful and that it’s meant to shield classified documents from the bulk of workers at Perkins Coie and other companies that have similar spaces.

“The FBI complies with the law and security policies and works with the Department of Justice to serve classified, Court-authorized legal process [sic] necessary to support national security investigations,” an FBI spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email.

“In certain instances, the FBI coordinates with non-government, third-party entities, such as law firms, that represent service providers which receive these classified Court orders. This includes providing access to private attorneys which represent the service providers in satisfaction of their legal rights. As part of this, the FBI ensures that any storage of classified orders meets stringent security protocols required for such documents.”

Gaetz said he consulted with former federal prosecutors, who informed him they had never heard of a similar relationship.

“Our concern is that politically motivated dirt was being converted into politically motivated investigations,” he said.

The lawmakers want the facility shut down.

Perkins Coie didn’t respond to requests for comment. The FBI didn’t answer when asked whether the bureau had considered closing the facility.

According to the letter, the facility is operating under a “modified arrangement.” That disclosure came in response to a question about whether the same arrangement remained in place after Sussmann resigned from the firm in September 2021.

Sussmann was charged that month with lying to the FBI. The lawyer handed over data and white papers claiming there was a secret link between Trump’s business and a Russian bank just weeks before the 2016 election. Sussmann was representing the campaign of Hillary Clinton, Trump’s rival, at the time. The FBI determined the data didn’t support the allegations, and the CIA later reached a similar conclusion. Sussmann told an FBI lawyer he was acting on his own accord, but later told Congress he was acting on behalf of a client. He was acquitted on May 31.

Sussmann was well-known throughout the FBI. He worked closely with the bureau in its investigation of the intrusion into Democrat entities’ networks and even had an FBI badge that gave him access to the bureau’s headquarters, which he used when meeting with the bureau lawyer.

FBI Director Christopher Wray, a Trump appointee, was pressed during a Senate hearing on May 25 about Sussmann by Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), who questioned why Sussmann had the badge and why the FBI kept his identity secret from agents who investigated the allegations.

Wray said he couldn’t answer the questions because Sussmann’s trial wasn’t over.

“Because I’ve got agents working with [special counsel John] Durham on the case, and they’re in the middle of trial right now, I just don’t think I can get into a discussion of that here,” Wray said.

Elon Musk Says ‘No One in the Media Cares’ About Exposing Jeffrey Epstein’s Alleged Clients

By Gary Bai
June 4, 2022 Updated: June 6, 2022

The richest person in the world has taken a swipe at the media over allegedly being disinterested in investigating the suspected clients of the alleged sex trafficking ring run by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

In a series of tweets on June 4, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said it is “remarkable” how the U.S. Department of Justice has not published the list of clients of convicted sex offender Epstein and his co-conspirator Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker. The pair were accused of procuring, trafficking, sexually abusing a vast network of female minors as young as 11.

What is more “remarkable,” Musk said, is that “no one in the media cares” about the Epstein-Maxwell case.

Although Epstein and Maxwell were accused of operating a child sex trafficking ring, none of their clients have been charged. According to some abuse survivors, the ring’s clients include powerful politicians, businessmen, and other influential leaders, who, since Epstein’s scandal broke, have attempted to distance themselves from the financier.

Epstein, who in 2008 was convicted and sentenced for soliciting prostitution from a minor, was found dead in a New York federal jail in August 2019. At the time, he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges for abusing women and girls in Manhattan and Florida from 2002 to 2005.

The New York City Medical Examiner’s Office ruled that his death was suicide by hanging. However, a forensic pathologist who was hired by his brother, Mark Epstein, said Epstein’s autopsy was more indicative of homicide, not suicide.

A jury found Maxwell guilty of six sex-trafficking charges in December 2021.

“Sometimes I think my list of “list of enemies is too short, so…” Musk wrote in the thread of posts on Twitter.

A commenter to the threat posted a picture of Musk and Maxwell at a Vanity Fair party in 2014. In response to the picture, Musk took a further swipe at those who are pushing the theory that he is associated with Maxwell and Epstein.

“Ah yes, Maxwell photobombing me at a @VanityFair Oscars party – you should them why they invited her,” Musk wrote. “The same people who push this photo say nothing about prominent people who actually went to his island a dozen times. Also very strange …”

The billionaire later highlighted a Vanity Fair article published in 2003, which reads, “Lately, Jeffrey Epstein’s high-flying style has been drawing oohs and aahs: the bachelor financier lives in New York’s largest private residence, claims to take only billionaires as clients, and flies celebrities including Bill Clinton and Kevin Spacey on his Boeing 727.”

“Interesting,” Musk wrote.

Musk’s comments on the Epstein-Maxwell case came weeks after he questioned why Vanity Fair invited Maxwell to a party Musk attended in 2014. Back then, he also questioned why none of Epstein’s alleged clients have gone “down.”

“Where is their “client” list? Shouldn’t at least one of them go down!?” Musk commented.

5 Tips for Improving Your Spiritual Well-Being

Life offers us endless opportunities to elevate our character, if we have the wish
BY TATIANA DENNING TIMEJUNE 5, 2022

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” — Albert Einstein

In today’s fast-paced world, with so many things to distract us, it’s easy to focus on the outside world and neglect what’s on the inside. In our quest for more, it often seems like we’re trying to fill some sort of void that we can’t quite identify; perhaps the void is a spiritual one, which is why it never seems to be filled by material pursuits or empty distractions.

While spirituality varies among cultures and among individuals, there are some basic truths connecting those with upright intentions, and these principles can guide us in living as good people.

When we work on fostering our spiritual sides, studies show that memory and cognition improve, immunity is boosted, blood pressure improves, things like depression, stress, and anxiety lessen, anger and resentment decrease, and the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions also decreases.

Strengthening our spiritual sides increases our overall levels of happiness, hope, optimism, and internal calm. We may find a deeper meaning and purpose for our lives. An analysis of research studies revealed that those who are more spiritual have stronger marital relationships, commit fewer crimes, have significantly lower rates of substance abuse, perform better in school, and thus have an overall positive impact on those around them and society as a whole.

With so many great benefits, let’s take a look at a few simple things we can do to strengthen our spiritual well-being.

Cultivate Integrity

According to the American Heritage dictionary, integrity is “steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code,” or “the quality or condition of being whole or undivided; completeness.”

Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. Of course, looking at it from a spiritual perspective, nothing truly goes unseen.#SignsYouWereRaisedRight You do the right thing when NO ONE IS WATCHING!

Integrity requires being honest with oneself and others, self-discipline and willpower, and a commitment to upholding our values and principles, even if it means we lose out as a result. It means not taking the easy way out, and not choosing our self-interest over what’s right.

There is a proverb that says, “There’s no pillow as soft as a clear conscience.” A clean conscience comes only through living a life of integrity, and its importance was well-known to older generations, who were often heard saying, “The reason I sleep well is because I have a clean conscience.”  Unfortunately, the value of integrity has been largely lost in modern times, and in its place, a focus on money and a desire to get ahead have taken its place. Coincidentally, problems sleeping are common.

To live with integrity, it’s important that we identify our values to help determine the kind of person we are and who we want to be. This brightens our moral compass. As we strive to live this way, our character becomes more grounded in goodness, while our negative aspects are weakened and eliminated.

Forgive and Let Go

Forgiveness is an integral part of all upright spiritual teachings. For example, Jesus said, “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.” Luke 6:27–28

When we are treated unkindly or in a way we view as unfair, we may feel justified in our anger or resentment toward another person. But when we carry these things in our hearts, as the saying goes, it’s like drinking poison and thinking it will harm the other person.

Several years ago, I had a co-worker who regularly disagreed with me. It created a lot of tension, and over time, I developed resentment toward her for being controlling and trying to tell me how to do my job. I found myself increasingly disliking going to work, and even considered looking for another job.

Then one day, a light bulb went off. I thought: “This is my job. I can either go to work and be miserable, or I can go to work and be happy. It’s up to me.”

With this realization, I went to work the next day with a different attitude. I forgave what I viewed as my co-worker’s transgressions, and began to let go of the resentment I’d had. I kept a pleasant demeanor and didn’t let little things get to me, and as a result, I somehow felt lighter. The things that had bothered me now seemed so insignificant that I often didn’t even notice them unless someone pointed them out.

The amazing thing was, as I changed myself, my surroundings changed. My co-worker stopped trying to tell me how to do my job all the time, and the situation between us became harmonious. This unintended consequence of practicing forgiveness and working on changing myself benefitted not just me, but the environment around me.

Act Selflessly

Altruism, or selflessness, is another universal teaching in upright spiritual practices. As Buddha said, “A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity.”

To act with selflessness is to let go of one’s own desires for the benefit of others. It means helping another person out of the goodness of your heart, without any expectation of reward. It is putting yourself in another person’s shoes and having true compassion.

Unfortunately, in today’s society, the opposite isn’t only promoted, but often applauded and even rewarded. But the good news is, with some introspection and awareness, selflessness can be learned and gradually become a part of our daily lives.

Little acts of kindness, such as listening to another person without thinking of what we’re going to say next, bringing a cup of coffee to a coworker, or mowing our elderly neighbor’s lawn, are simple ways we can put others before ourselves.

As we go about our day, it’s a good idea to pause and ask ourselves, “Why am I doing this?” In other words, what’s our true motivation behind our actions? Are we taking our ill friend a bowl of soup because we know how miserable it is to have the flu and want to help her feel better, or because we want to hear we’re such a great friend or what a good cook we are? Examining our thoughts is key.

Helping for the sake of helping, with a pure and genuine heart, benefits others, and inadvertently ourselves as well. Studies have shown that altruistic behaviors lead to more peace of mind, lowered cortisol levels, and even decreased risk of heart disease, to name a few.

Practice Gratitude

In a world where we can have almost anything we want whenever we want it, it’s easy to take things for granted and lose sight of the importance of gratitude.

Recently, an incident occurred when I was teaching my son about being grateful for what he had and not expecting more and more. My husband overheard our conversation and joined in to stress what I was saying. He surprised me when he told our son: “Every day when I wake up, I say a prayer. I don’t ask for anything. I only say ‘thank you,’ even if it’s just for my two arms and legs that allow me to go to work, or for the roof over my head.”

Being grateful for what we have, without desiring or asking for more, even in the face of difficulties and struggles, is most certainly a worthwhile endeavor.

Studies have shown that gratitude can be cultivated. By doing things like keeping a gratitude journal, or reflecting on three things we’re grateful for at the end of every day, we strengthen our gratitude muscle. We can even learn to be grateful for the hard times.

Leonardo da Vinci said: “Obstacles cannot crush me. Every obstacle yields to stern resolve. He who is fixed to a star does not change his mind.” Our difficulties help steel our resolve to achieve our goals and strengthen who we are. And without the hard times, how would we know what we’re capable of?

Look for the Lesson

Not a day goes by that we don’t encounter multiple opportunities to improve ourselves. Everything happens for a reason. While we may not understand why things occur, what we can come to understand is the lesson contained within.

While working with my co-worker, I had another realization: The things that annoyed me about her were actually things that existed in me—she was just a mirror reflecting what was in me. At first, this wasn’t something I even wanted to admit to myself, let alone anyone else, and wondered if I really had such a controlling way about myself.

As I paid attention to my thoughts and behaviors, sure enough, I saw the hard truth: I, too, had my own way of wanting to control things. As I reflected on the situation more later, I discovered that the situation was an opportunity to look at myself and learn some valuable lessons.

I also realized that when a certain type of situation kept repeating itself, though it might take different forms, it was trying to teach me a lesson. As I began to watch for patterns in the things that happened in my life, I also learned that if something about another person annoyed me, it was a sure sign that I had that thing in me in some form or another.

Over the years, I’ve seen that my most valuable lessons have actually come out of my most difficult situations. Though I didn’t relish having those painful or hard times, I saw that they did, in fact, serve an important purpose—self-growth. And if I didn’t work on improving that part of myself, the situation would keep recurring in different scenarios.

When my son entered elementary school, I began having regular talks with him that we dubbed “life lessons.” I tried to teach him the importance of being kind to others, no matter how he was treated, to be honest, thoughtful, patient, and to share with others. I also made up “what if” scenarios to get him to think about how he might handle different types of difficult situations, and then we would discuss possible solutions.

One day, when a little boy treated him unkindly in second grade, he came home and told me that he wasn’t mean back to him, and said, “I think his momma must not teach him about life lessons.” When my son did do something wrong, I tried to get him to understand why it was wrong and to think about how he could do better next time.

My hope is that these lessons laid the groundwork for my son to learn how to reflect upon his own actions, see what he could learn from them, and continually strive to be a better person.

In my view, what happens in our lives is meant to teach us to rectify our wrongs and change ourselves for the better by improving our patience, honesty, kindness, empathy, and other good qualities.

In Conclusion

Research has borne out what common sense tells us: Strengthening our spiritual well-being is good for both our mental and physical health. It elevates our moral character, strengthens our relationships, improves our performance in school and at work—and is an essential underpinning of a good society.

As Rumi said: “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” By employing some of these techniques in our everyday lives, we can improve ourselves, and naturally have a positive influence on the world around us.

the universe is infiniteIn an Infinite Creator there is only unity.  In truth there is no right or wrong. You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One. 1.7

2020 Election: Arizona Woman Pleads Guilty to ‘Sophisticated’ Ballot Harvesting Scheme

An Arizona woman has pleaded guilty to using her position in the Democratic Party to illegally harvest ballots in a ballot abuse scheme.

Guillermina Fuentes, the 66-year-old former mayor of San Luis, Arizona, pleaded guilty on June 2 to one count of ballot abuse for her role in an August 2020 primary election ballot harvesting scheme, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s office. Arizona attorney general’s office investigators said the operation was “sophisticated,” reported The Associated Press.

The scheme involved early ballots from other voters that were collected and deposited into a ballot box on primary election day, the office said.

Fuentes’s plea came as a result of an ongoing election fraud investigation conducted by the Arizona Attorney General office’s Election Integrity Unit. She was indicted in December 2020.

Fuentes, of Yuma County, is the owner of a local construction business, former mayor of San Luis, Arizona, and a Democratic precinct committee person.

She admitted to “knowingly” collecting early ballots from four persons who is not her family member, household member, or caretaker, or on or about Aug. 4, 2020, the day of the primary election, according to her plea agreement.

Fuentes further admitted that the early ballots were later provided to Alma Juarez, who pleaded guilty in January to one count of ballot abuse, a misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of six months with probation available, according to Juarez’s plea agreement.

The former mayor will be sentenced on June 30.

Fuentes told The Epoch Times on Friday that the charge was a result of “political witchcraft” and that her political opponents “hated” her.

In a response to a press inquiry from The Epoch Times, Fuente’s attorney called Arizona’s ballot abuse law a race-based “ongoing anti-democratic, state-wide, and national voter suppression efforts.”

Parallel Investigations

Tania Pavlak, a spokesperson from the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, told The Epoch Times that the Sheriff’s office has not been involved in prosecuting Fuentes, as the Arizona Attorney General’s office and the county sheriff’s office are conducting separate and parallel investigations on voting fraud allegations in the state.

Pavlak said the sheriff’s office is conducting its own voter fraud investigation and currently has 16 open cases related to either the 2020 election or the 2022 primaries. She declined to comment on how many cases are related to either election.

The “pattern of fraudulent voter registration forms,” according to a May 11 statement made by the sheriff’s office, include impersonation fraud, false registrations, duplicate voting, and fraudulent use of absentee ballots.

The spokesperson said the Yuma County Recorder’s Office detected a pattern of fraudulent voter registration, in which a number of people sent in duplicate forms or documents with false information on them, and referred the cases to the county’s sheriff.

“We already had been investigating these cases for the past few months and so the sheriff wanted to make sure we sent out that information with election season now hot and up and running. That way, people were aware of what was happening and also could stay vigilant,” Pavlak said.

“What they’re seeing is that there are registration forms that are being either falsified or people that are double registering with information that doesn’t match their current registration,” she added.

Ballot Harvesting Hearing

Fuentes’s guilty plea came two days after a hearing at the Arizona legislature where the state’s Senate and House lawmakers heard evidence and allegations pertaining to a state-wide ballot harvesting campaign during the 2020 presidential election.

Election integrity organization “True the Vote” at the hearing presented evidence of cell phone tracking data showing that more than 200 devices had visited ballot drop boxes in two of the state’s largest counties no less than 5,700 times during the 2020 election.

“When we started the project, we didn’t know [what we would find],” said Catherine Engelbrecht, the Texas group’s founder and president, at the May 31 hearing.

“We began to think through what is a realistic expectation or threshold for when going to a drop box is too many times. We wanted to focus on a clear, narrow data set [to demonstrate] extreme outlier behavior.”

The group’s investigators settled on 10 visits as outlier behavior—but in Arizona, they found that each alleged ballot harvestor went an average of 21 times each, Engelbrecht said.

In Yuma County, the study found 1,435 unique drop box visits by 41 target devices based on cell phone signals, or “pings.”

Lawmakers—all Republican—vowed to move forward with bill HB-2289 that would make ballot drop boxes illegal in Arizona.

“The only thing I would like to see come out of this meeting is people going to jail,” said State Rep. Quang Nguyen (R). “I would just like to see people cuffed.”

Engelbrecht told The Epoch Times on June 3 that the state attorney general’s investigation, which led to the indictments of Fuentes and Juarez, shows that this issue is “getting a broader look.”

“Based on our research, the ‘Arizona model’ is one that is followed across the country, and it involves national organizations,” she said, referring to alleged widespread ballot harvesting.

“So we, the American people, need to continue the pressure on to continue investigations moving forward to get to the bottom of what’s happening, not just in Yuma County, Arizona, but in many counties across this country.”

Menstrual Irregularities, Uterus Shedding Cases Spike After COVID Vaccine Rollout: Peer-Reviewed Study

‘What we’ve seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg’: Dr. Northrup
By Enrico Trigoso
May 27, 2022 Updated: June 3, 2022

The first of three peer-reviewed research studies on women who suffered menstrual irregularities or a decidual cast around the time COVID vaccines were rolled out begins to shed light on the sudden spike of this historically rare gynecological abnormality.

A decidual cast is when the inside lining of the uterus (endometrium) is shed intact, the entire lining is shed in one piece.

“What a decidual cast is is the sloughing off of the entire inside of the uterus all at once, generally preceded by several days of intense cramping as the uterus contracts. So what is passed is a ‘cast’ of the inside of the uterus,” Dr. Christiane Northrup, a co-author of the study, told The Epoch Times.

Over the past 109 years, decidual cast shedding (DCS) had less than 40 reported cases in the medical literature. The event had been so rare that there are only case studies and population prevalence data doesn’t exist, according to the research.

In the later 7.5 months of 2021, participants of MyCycleStory.com reported 292 cases out of 6,049 women who participated in the survey.

One of the authors of the study, Dr. James Thorp, is an extensively published 68-year-old physician MD board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as maternal-fetal medicine, who has been practicing obstetrics for over 42 years.

“The most common causes of DCS in pre-pandemic years include spontaneous miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, and prolonged progesterone therapy. We speculate that one potential mechanism could include the hypercoagulable state and change in the blood consistency that has been well documented by many embalmers including Mr. Richard Hirschman. Thus, the large, durable post-mortem clots that the embalmers first noticed last year can be viewed in this context as ‘arterial casts’ and ‘venous casts’ and they do have a strikingly similar appearance to that of decidual casts, excluding the shape,” Thorp said.

“Extreme menstrual irregularities such as DCS should not be ignored as there are potentially important implications with regard to the lipid nanoparticles that are known to concentrate in the ovaries and also syncytial antibodies that could result in miscarriage (spontaneous abortions),” he added.

Thorp previously told The Epoch Times that he has been seeing “many, many, many complications in pregnant women, in moms and in fetuses, in children, offspring,” since the COVID vaccine was widely distributed.

“Fetal death, miscarriage, death of the fetus inside the mom,” Thorp added. “What I’ve seen in the last two years is unprecedented.”

Thorp explained that although he has seen an increase in fetal death and adverse pregnancy outcomes associated with the COVID-19 vaccination, attempts to quantify this effect are hampered by the imposition of gag orders on physicians and nurses that were imposed in September 2021, as reviewed in the publication “Patient Betrayal: The Corruption of Healthcare, Informed Consent and the Physician-Patient Relationship” (pdf).

The study, titled “COVID-19 and the surge in Decidual Cast Shedding” (pdf), shows disturbing images from different women who suffered DCS.

It reads: “A decidual cast may occur when the cessation of progesterone levels results in loss of support for the decidualized endometrial lining. This results in a synchronized detachment of the entire decidualized layer of endometrium, and it passes from the uterus through the cervix and vagina. This tissue mass/clot is often triangular, consistent with the internal shape of the intrauterine cavity. Other less common causes of DCS include cessation of exogenous estrogen/ progesterone therapies, and use of oral contraceptives and injectable progesterone.”

Tiffany Parotto, the lead researcher of the study and founder of MyCycleStory, is particularly distressed about the censorship and deletion of a Facebook group of about 21,000 members where women were talking about their menstrual irregularities.

“The real problem I’m seeing here is that it’s 2022 and somehow still acceptable for the voices of women to be completely erased as if they don’t matter,” Parotto told The Epoch Times.

“The fact of the matter is, tens of thousands of women are experiencing traumatic bleeding and major issues. Women know what is normal for us and what is not. We know our bodies more than any doctor or social media site to know when something isn’t right. What right does big tech have to tell us our stories are not worth sharing? How are we supposed to get to the root of what the cause could be if we are left feeling like we are the only ones experiencing them? I’m disgusted at the idea that our experiences are being suppressed and undermined as if suddenly ‘listen to women’ only means sometimes. So we knew we had to do the work ourselves and created the study. We had to give these women their voices back and let them know that we refuse to allow them to be silenced and we will do what needs to be done to demand attention on this issue,” Parotto said.

Northrup, MD, a former fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, fears that there could be much more data related to reproductive damage that hasn’t been discovered yet.

“The female menstrual cycle is considered a vital sign as important as blood pressure and body temperature when it comes to health assessment. Our initial findings of bleeding and decidual cast shedding in women who have been exposed to those who have had the experimental injection suggest that what we’ve seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg. The reproductive effects of this shot could be far worse than we’ve been led to believe,” Northrup said.

The authors point out that there are some limitations to this first study.

“First, it is an observational study of patient questionnaires and certainly subject to sample bias. Second, the decidual casts were not confirmed by pathological analysis but self-reported. Third, the pre- and post- pandemic prevalence of DCS cannot be accurately determined at the time of this writing,” they state.

THE SEQUEL TO THE FALL OF THE CABAL – PART 21

11.18 Questioner: Then we have crusaders from Orion coming to this planet for mind control purposes. How do they do this?

Ra: As all, they follow the Law of One observing free will. Contact is made with those who call. Those then upon the planetary sphere act much as do you to disseminate the attitudes and philosophy of their particular understanding of the Law of One which is service to self. These become the elite. Through these, the attempt begins to create a condition whereby the remainder of the planetary entities are enslaved by their own free will. Law Of One
