Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you . For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest." Gospel of Thomas (5)
Perhaps it is time to discover the truth about ourselves by looking within through meditation, contemplation and prayer. Simply pick a time during your day to stop, be still and listen. Commitment and desire is best way for anyone to begin a meditation practice and open the gateway to the divine.
Meditation, with its countless benefits, is your tool to explore the Way and our ancient teachers provide guidance. Jesus said in the Dialogue of the Savior, left out of the Bible, “When I came among humanity, I opened the door to the Way. I showed you the path that you must follow. You will find it within yourselves.” Buddha said six hundred years earlier, “Before you set foot on the path, master yourself.” Krishna said, around 3500 BC, ” Those find the Way are those who have love and forgiveness in the hearts, and Lao Tzu said in 500 BC, “the Way is empty, the Way is full. There is no Way to describe what it is. Find it within yourselves.”
We all have a divine power within. It is up to each of us to look within, discover what we are, our purpose and where we are going. Our tool is meditation, contemplation, prayer and the desire to seek the truth.

Meditation has been around for thousands of years and is based on Hindu Scripture, as a religious practice. Buddha said “Meditation brings wisdom; lack of mediation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.”
It is even mentioned in the Bible, Psalm 1:1-2, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; (2) but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.” In Joshua 1: 8 states “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it.”
The Acts of Peter XXI, also omitted from the bible, “Give ear; withdraw your souls from all that appears but is not truly real; close these eyes of yours, close your ears, withdraw from actions that are outwardly seen; and you shall know the reality of Christ and the whole secret of your salvation.” In Matthew 6:6 ” But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
But what is left out is how to pray or meditate. Perhaps Jesus’ message in the Gospel of Thomas can assist in our journey of seeking the truth. In the Gospel of Thomas, (48) Jesus said, “If two make peace with each other in this one house, they will say to the mountain, ‘Move Away,’ and it will move away.” The one house is the body, and the two are mind and spirit. A very similar saying in (106) Jesus said, “When you make the two one, you will become the sons of man, and when you say, ‘Mountain, move away,’ it will move away.”
The two are mind and spirit, thought and emotion. From a spiritual perspective, Meditation is our Gateway, our connection to Universal Intelligence. Jesus was telling us how in the Gospel of Thomas, omitted from the bible. When we can make our thoughts and emotions one, we will be transformed and will able to move mountains.
We all have a divine power within. It is up to each of us to look within, know ourselves and understand our purpose. Our tool is meditation, contemplation, prayer and seeking the truth. This video may provide additional insight for those seeking the truth.
Don’t you love Christmas? I do, and I am especially looking forward to it this year.
My anticipation is partly due to the two years or more of COVID restrictions and lockdowns. We’ve also been inundated with reports of climate change. This past summer we were terrified by a bout of hot weather, and the word “drought” kept appearing, along with “climate change.” Since then, we have had downpours. Now, we hear the words “floods” and, of course, “climate change.” Along with the peril of being swept away, what we are hearing about now is the terror of Avian flu!
So, Christmas, then, might just prove to be that wonderful respite, relief, and restoration that most of us crave. Christmas offers us time to be at home, time to be with family, time to relax. Well, let’s hope so; let’s hope that is the case for most people.
The Nicene Creed
Perhaps I should stop idealizing Christmas; hasn’t it always been fundamentally flawed: spoiled, commercialized, its true values destroyed? What is Christmas really about? What is its point? Why do people long for it. In short, what is the real meaning of Christmas?
Doubtless, we will all have our own ideas, but for me Christmas can be expressed in five simple words extracted from the Nicene Creed.
Christmas can be expressed in five simple words extracted from the Nicene Creed: “He came down from heaven.” This is an icon depicting the Nicene Creed of 325. (Public Domain)
Creeds often tend to be divisive, but I think in this instance we have plenty of scope to interpret these how we want, whether literally, mythologically, symbolically, or as you will.
The five simple words are: “He came down from heaven.” The key word in the sentence is the middle one: “down.” “He came down … .” Christmas is about “coming down.” That is the direction that God enters our lives.
Human beings, by way of contrast, want to go “up: to ascend, to have more, to grow further. But God comes down. Humans have enthroned themselves in the heaven of their own egos, exalted their own self-importance, and drawn immense satisfaction from promoting the works of their own hands.
By contrast, God comes down, and that is what we must recall. For this is what Christmas allows us to do: to be our true selves, to forget our false self-image and projections, particularly those we wear at work. Instead, we can lay all that aside and be true (or truer) to ourselves by doing little, by being with loved ones, and by being grateful. Indeed, by relaxing.
Our True State
I remember when I nearly died of cancer over a decade ago now. Before it, I had been a strong, self-confident individual who could seemingly do anything I wanted to, or had set my heart on achieving; I scarcely felt a sense of limitation.
But as I’d lain there in the hospital bed, getting weaker and weaker, my ego drained away and I began to see—to use a Biblical phrase—that my “own right arm could not save me.” I was helpless.
If I was going to survive and to live, some other power would have to rescue me. And being in that state is just like being a baby—helpless, dependent—and that is what Christmas on an annual basis reminds us of. In terms of the cosmos, of fate and destiny, we are all babes, subject to a greater and superior power.
As I left the hospital, it was so easy to forget how real my vulnerability was when I was nearly dead, and to allow those old habits of self-importance to return.
So, whatever our faith (for all faiths have a God or Tao who finds us where we are), Christmas reminds us that God comes down, partly because that is how God meets us, and partly because with God there is no false self-image that God has or needs to vaunt or exult Himself. God is reality, and we crave reality: to be who we really are without all the pretence.
Why do people love their pets? Because their pets are always authentic, and so are their affections. When your cat wants to be stroked, there’s no pretense. Why do we love babies? We call it their innocence, but it’s a similar thing to having pets: When a baby smiles at you, it’s authentic. There is no pretense.
Christmas is that moment toward the end of the year that we get to see the real baby: the no-ego baby, the baby open to all experience, the baby available to everyone (mom, dad, stable animals, shepherds, wise men, and all), and the baby who is utterly vulnerable: the baby who is a gift. Wow!
God came down from heaven in the form of a baby. “Adoration of the Shepherds,” 1485, by Domenico Ghirlandaio, 1485. (Public Domain)
We don’t need to be a Christian to realize that this is something special; an atheist, too, can appreciate that this is an extraordinary story that warms the heart.
Let’s all come down from our highfalutin’ ego-mountains and return to our child-like selves: that is, like the baby. If we could do this all the time, how much better would this world be?
Perhaps just trying it at Christmas is enough. Let’s do it then at this time year, at least.
May the real meaning of Christmas come alive in your hearts and minds as you reflect on that brilliant line from the Nicene Creed: “He came down from heaven.” Down is the Way.

Gnosticism is one of the most fascinating and perplexing phenomena in western theological history. At the heart was the Greek word gnosis meaning, “Knowledge or Direct knowledge of God”. Existing far before its Christian descendants, Gnosis in Classical Greek meant true knowledge or wisdom depending on which ancient philosopher one reads. According to Plato, reality as perceived by the five senses is merely the surface of a highly complex and structured system. The act of seeing and recognizing this system Plato calls “ideas.” A key element in his philosophy, which would later transfer to Gnosticism and Gnostic, is the concept that every human had a previous and thorough understanding of the structures of reality. Unfortunately, this knowledge was somehow lost. The reclaiming of this knowledge through the comprehension of reality underlying structures is Gnosis.
Gnosis in the first century was a quiet movement, adapting to the situations and locations of the societies it encountered. From early Christian literature, there is an impression that Gnosis was a threat to subvert Christianity, even though there seems to be no unified front of Gnosis during this time. The Gnostics were just a variety of independent, small sects that on the whole seem very different from each other. However, these different sects even debated the same metaphysical, cosmologic, soteriological, and ethical themes as their more mainstream Christian counterparts. Gnostics were the early movement of Christianity and lost the early Christian struggle to define orthodoxy.
So who were the Gnostics? Irenaeus of Lyon, a bishop in the late 2nd century was an enemy of the Gnostics whom he called heretics. Irenaeus claimed that a single true Christianity originated with Jesus and the apostles. In his view other groups, such as the Gnostics, may claim to be Christians, but they were false deviations for the one true Christianity, and all competing Christians were heretics. Today we know Christianity was diverse from the very beginning. Even the original apostles did not agree on a single Christian message.
One of the most striking features of the Gnostic myth as Irenaeus tells it is that the God of Genesis is lower than the ultimate God and is arrogant, ignorant and evil. He is hostile to humans beings because humans beings have a share of the divine spirit that belongs to the higher God. The real name of the god who created this world is Ialdabaoth, a spiritual being who runs this universe like a tyrant.
This biblical father god of the Old Testament, also known as Yahweh or Jehovah, was hostile to human beings when he commanded Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, preventing them from knowing the spiritual truth.
When Adam and Eve eat from the tree, they gain gnosis, knowledge of the true God. Eve was encouraged to eat the fruit from a female deity known as Sophea, (Wisdom). As human beings continue to see true spiritual knowledge, Yahweh grows jealous of their devotion to the higher God and causes a flood to wipe out humanity. The higher God, Universal Intelligence, saves Noah and his family from the Yahweh evil plot.
Finally, human beings begin to lose the knowledge that Adam and Eve gain when they ate from the tree, but Universal Intelligence sends Jesus to restore this lost gnosis and rescue them from Yahweh and his fellow rulers.
The Gnostic Version of the Garden of Eden is much like the Sumerian Tablets and the Law of One Yahweh is mentioned 19 times and agrees with much of what the Gnostics said about the God of the Old Testament.
Orthodox Christianity created the idea of heresy to condemn the Gnostics quest for higher knowledge because of the different belief system. Early Christians wanted a single harmonious system and considered themselves as a single body of Christ and did not want any division. Overtime, people who followed the Gnostics were considered godless and imperious members of a school of thought and therefore heretics. Some in the Christian religion still believe that today. The destruction of their sacred texts was inevitable, so some hid them in caves and various other places so they could not be found.
In 1945, one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the 20th century occurred. Thirteen ancient codices containing over 50 texts of Gnostic works were found in caves in Upper Egypt untouched by scribes. All of these can be found in the Nag Hammadi Library.
The discovery in 1945 provides a new and refreshing school of thought about spirituality and Jesus’s message. The discovery also came at a time when it could be shared with the world and not suppressed as it was for the last twenty centuries. Jesus is a teacher of wisdom and understanding, speaking in metaphors and parables of love and enlightenment. Much different from the sin and repentance as the Church teaches. Since the discovery and publications, the Gospel of Thomas has been the most celebrated of the 50 ancient texts discovered in 1945.
Jesus said in saying 5 of the Gospel of Thomas, “Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you . For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest.” Have we come to a time when all the secrets of the world are manifesting? Gnosticism was not confined to the Christians but is part of the belief systems of Sufism and the Saints of India and other eastern mystics. Gnosticism is not only alive but reemerging in a world that needs much love and wisdom in todays greatest spiritual battle the world has even known.
THE GOSPEL OF MARY MAGDALENE
(Pages 1-6 are missing)
Page 7
The disciples asked him, “Teach us about the material world. Will
it last forever, or is everything impermanent?”
and the Saviour answered: “All that is created, all that is formed,
every natural thing, all exist interdependently in and with each
other, but each will be dissolved again back to its own roots. For
the nature of matter is to dissolve back into its own elements.
Those who have ears, let them hear.”
Peter said to him: “While you are explaining everything to us, tell us
one more thing: What is the sin of the world?”
The Saviour answered: “There is no such thing as sin, you only
make it appear when you act according to the habits of your
adulterated nature; that is how what you call ‘sin’ manifests. This is
why the Good has come into your midst, pursuing the good which is
in everyone so as to restore it inward to its root.”
Then he continued, saying: “This is what sickens and destroys
you; it is because you love what deceives you. Those who have
ears, let them hear. Whoever has a mind, let them understand!”
“Attachment to matter gives rise to incomparable suffering,
because it proceeds from what is contrary to true nature. Then
disturbance arises in the whole body.
This is why I taught you to find contentment at the level of the
heart. When you are out of balance, find contentment through
manifestations of your true nature.
Those who have ears, let them hear.”
When the Blessed One had said these things, he embraced them
all and took his leave, saying:
“Peace be with you! Cultivate my peace within yourselves!
Be vigilant, and let no one lead you astray by saying ‘Here it is’ or
‘There it is’, for the Son of Man lives within you. Follow him.
Those who seek him will find him.
Go then and proclaim the good news of the Kingdom.”
“Do not lay down any rules other than what I have given you.
Do not establish more laws like the law-maker, or else you too will
become constrained by them.”
When he had said these things, he departed from them.
The disciples grieved and mourned terribly, shedding many tears
and saying:
“How are we supposed to go out preaching to the rest of the
world, proclaiming the gospel of the Kingdom of the Son of Man?
If they did not spare him, then how will they spare us?”
Then Mary stood up. She embraced them all, kissing them
tenderly and began to speak to her brothers and sisters:
“Do not remain in sorrow, grief, and doubt! For his Grace will be
with you all; it will guide you, comfort you, shelter, and protect you.
Rather, let us be thankful and praise his greatness, for he has
brought us together and prepared us for this. He has made us fully
human.”
Saying these things, Mary turned their hearts inward toward the
Good, and they began to meditate on the meaning of the
Saviour’s words and to discuss his sayings.
Then Peter said to Mary, “Sister, we know that you are greatly
loved by the Saviour, more than any other woman. Tell us those
words of the Saviour that you remember, the things which you
know and we don’t, the words we have never heard.”
Mary answered, saying: “What is hidden from you I shall reveal to
you. What is unknown to you and I remember, I will tell you.”
And she began saying to them these words.
She said, “Once I saw the Lord in a vision and I said to him: ‘Lord,
today I see you in a vision.’
He answered me and said: ‘Blessed are you, for the sight of me
does not disturb you. How wonderful you are! For where the nous
is, there lies the treasure.’
I asked him this: ‘Now tell me Lord, how does a person see such a
vision, is it through the soul or through the spirit?’
The Saviour answered : ‘It is neither through the soul nor through
the spirit, but through the nous which exists between the two, that
is what sees the vision.’”
(nous = the eye of the soul, the meeting place between human and divine, God anchored
in humanity, humanity touched by God)

And Craving spoke :
“I did not see you going down, but now I see you ascending.
Why are you being deceptive since you belong to me?”
The Soul responded: “I saw you, but you never truly saw me or
knew me. You mistook the garments I wore for my true self, so you
did not recognize me.” When the Soul had said this, it went away
rejoicing greatly.
Again, the Soul came into the hands of the third Authority, which
is called Ignorance.
This scrutinised the Soul closely and interrogated it, saying:
“Where do you think you’re going? You are enslaved by
maliciousness, constrained and held prisoner by wicked inclinations.
You lack discrimination. Do not judge!”
The Soul said: “Why do you pass judgement on me, even though I
myself have not been judgemental? I have been dominated, but I
myself have not constrained anyone or anything. I was not
recognized, but I myself have recognized this: that everything will
pass away, all things composed shall be decomposed, all will be
dissolved, both on earth and in heaven.”
Liberated from the third Authority, the Soul continued its ascent,
and came face to face with the fourth, which is called Wrath.
This took on seven manifestations. The first was darkness; the
second, craving; the third, ignorance, the fourth, the longing for
oblivion; the fifth, enslavement to the demands of the body, the
sixth was foolish worldly wisdom, the seventh, the hot-tempered
certainty of anger.
These formed the sevenfold Authority of Wrath, which
interrogated the Soul, demanding: “Where do you come from,
murderer? and, where do you think you are going, deserter?”
The Soul responded: “It is what constrained me that has been
vanquished, and what surrounded me that has been overcome, my
craving has come to an end, and my ignorance has died.”
Through a world I was set free from another world; from one design
I was liberated through a higher design and from the chains of
forgetfulness which exist only for a time.
From this moment onward, now and for all seasons, I am released
into silent restfulness, where time rests in the eternity of time.”
After Mary had said these things, she became silent, as the
Saviour had spoken with her up to this point.
But Andrew responded and said to the brothers and sisters:
“Tell me, what do you think about all that she has been telling us?
Say what you will, but I for one do not believe the Saviour said
such things! For these certainly are strange teachings, they seem to
be quite different from his thinking.”
After considering these matters, Peter responded with similar
concerns.
He questioned the brothers about the Saviour:
“Did he really speak secretly with a woman and not openly so that
we all might hear? Are we all going to turn around and listen to her?
Did he really choose her and prefer her to us? Surely, he did not
want to show that she is more worthy than we are?”
Then Mary wept. She said to Peter: “My brother, Peter, what are
you thinking? Do you really believe that I thought all this up by
myself in my heart, or that I am telling lies about the Saviour?”
Levi responded and spoke to Peter: “Peter, you have always been
hot-tempered from the beginning, and now I see you arguing like
that against this woman as if you were her adversary. Yet if the
Saviour deemed her worthy, indeed if he himself has made her
worthy, then who are you to despise and reject her? Surely the
Saviour’s knowledge of her is completely trustworthy, That is why
he loved her more than us.
Rather, let us be ashamed. We should clothe ourselves with Divine
Humanity. Let us follow his instructions and cultivate it in
ourselves. We should do what we were commanded and proclaim
the good news as the Saviour said, not laying down any other rules
or laws beyond what he himself has given.
After Levi had said these things, they started going out to teach
and to proclaim the gospel…….
The world is currently going through a mass spiritual awakening. Humanity is realizing and beginning to understand that our world is not as it seems, and physical and metaphysical worlds are inseparable. Perhaps it is time for a greater understanding of God, to expand our concept, not to correct our previous understanding, but to expand our consciousness. There is only one God, omnipotent, a force of Divine energy encompassing not only our world, but all worlds of the Universe. Perhaps the awakening is necessary to understand God as Infinite Intelligence which includes all life within this world, and extends into all other worlds in the Universe. This Divine Force of Energy is available to all.
It is important not to confuse God with religion or religion with God. Religion was created by man in order to understand the Divine. God exists far beyond all religions, far beyond human intellect, imagination, invention and human corruption. God is beyond comprehension, beyond any definition and beyond our histories and great teachers and the great messengers from God, great spiritual books and testimonies. There is one God, one Creator, the Great Spirit, the Divine Force that rules over the all.
It is interesting to note that science has proven electromagnetic energy is the most plentiful constant energy of our universe. It is a part of all structures living and dead, including the atmosphere. We create electromagnetic energies in the atoms of our living cells, which we enhance by the reaction with the atmospheric energy field. We know this expanded energy field as the human aura. Within this energy we all have the ability to experience the Divine Reality by discovering our true nature.
As energetic beings, our thoughts, feelings and actions generate energy that radiates into the world, as we unknowingly create our reality. Energy has both positive and negative charges. Fear, control, hate, judging others are considered negative. The most positive emotion is Love which includes kindness, compassion, helping others and treating others as you would like to be treated. It is seeing God in everyone and everything. We are all co-creators and that is the paradigm shift of the global spiritual awakening.
Buddha said our lives are products of our mind. What we are today is a result of what we thought yesterday. What we think today influences what happens to us tomorrow. Our entire lives are products of our mind.
Lao Tzu said the world is transformed by those who love all people, just as you love yourself.
Jesus said in the Gospel of the Egyptians, You receive no benefit from loving only those who love you. Great benefits comes from loving those who hate you.
Instead of listening and following what others tell us, perhaps it is time to seek and discover the truth for ourselves. There is no better time to connect with our Source. Meditation, is one approach with countless benefits, to explore the Way. Jesus said in the Dialogue of the Savior, left out of the Bible, “When I came among humanity, I opened the door to the Way. I showed you the path that you must follow. You will find it within yourselves.” And Buddha said six hundred years earlier, “Before you set foot on the path, master yourself.” Krishna said, around 3500 BC, ” Those find the Way are those who have love and forgiveness in the hearts, and Lao Tzu said in 5oo BC, “the Way is empty, the Way is full. There is no Way to describe what it is. Find it within yourselves.”
From the Law of One: 49.8Questioner: Is it better, or shall I say, does it produce more usable results in meditation to leave the mind, shall I say, as blank as possible; let it run down, so to speak, or is it better to focus in meditation on some object or some thing for concentration?
Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last full query of this work time.
Each of the two types of meditation is useful for a particular reason. The passive meditation involving the clearing of the mind, the emptying of the mental jumble which is characteristic of mind complex activity among your peoples, is efficacious for those whose goal is to achieve an inner silence as a base from which to listen to the Creator. This is an useful and helpful tool and is by far the most generally useful type of meditation as opposed to contemplation or prayer.
The type of meditation which may be called visualization has as its goal not that which is contained in the meditation itself. Visualization is the tool of the adept. Those who learn to hold visual images in mind are developing an inner concentrative power that can transcend boredom and discomfort. When this ability has become crystallized in an adept the adept may then do polarizing in consciousness without external action, which can affect the planetary consciousness. This is the reason for existence of the so-called White Magician. Only those wishing to pursue the conscious raising of planetary vibration will find visualization to be a particularly satisfying type of meditation.
Contemplation or the consideration in a meditative state of an inspiring image or text is extremely useful also among your peoples, and the faculty of will called praying is also of a potentially helpful nature. Whether it is indeed an helpful activity depends quite totally upon the intentions and objects of the one who prays.
Meditation has been around for thousands of years and based on Hindu Scripture, as a religious practice.
There is no right or wrong way to meditate. There are many paths to our Source and each has free will to determine their journey.
Could the two be thought and emotion? When we can make our thoughts and emotions one, we will be transformed and will able to move mountains.
We have a divine power within and meditation is the gateway to tap into our Source. It is up to each person to look within, know yourself and understand our purpose in greatest Spiritual battle we have even known. Our tool is meditation, contemplation, prayer and seeking the truth from our source. This video may provide additional insight into our past.
Albert Einstein, German Theoretical Physicist said “Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe—a spirit vastly superior to that of man.”
“We have watched your group. We have been called to your group, for you have a need for the diversity of experiences in channeling which go with a more intensive, or as you might call it, advanced approach to the system of studying the patterns of the illusions of your body, your mind, and your spirit, which you call seeking the truth. We hope to offer you a somewhat different slant upon the information which is always and ever the same.” Law of One 1.0
That was the initial contact with L/L Research by an advanced social memory complex from the sixth density or dimension, named RA, the humble messenger of the Law of One. The three members of L/L research, Don Elkins, a former Physics Professor and Airline pilot; Carla Rueckert, a devoted Christian, and James McCarty, the scribe and sole survivor today would be involved for the next three years, from 1981 to 1984, in the remarkable contact. Carla was used as the channel known as “tuned trance telepathy”, while Don asked question and Jim recorded the questions and responses. All the material can be found on line for free or you can purchase the book known as the Law of One: The RA Material, by RA the humble messenger of The Law of One.
The contact lasted from 1981 to 1984 totaling 106 sessions. Each session started ” I am Ra. I greet you in the love and the light of the Infinite Creator. I communicate now” and would end “I am Ra. I leave you in the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. Go forth, then, rejoicing in the power and the peace of the One Creator. Adonai.”
The group asked approximately 2360 questions and RA provided answers, careful not to infringe on free-will. The 2360 questions and answers were recorded and documented. Many of those questions and answers relate directly to what is happening today. This series of channeling was the first time in human history when real-time questions and answers with a non-human entity has been recorded.
For the seeker, The Law of One provides insight and understanding of just not our world, past and present, but our vast infinite spiritual world and universe. Even more important, we learn who we are, why we are here and where we are going. Our purpose in this life to is learn the ways of love and wisdom and to be of service to others if your are on the positive path. We are entities of infinite worth.
The Law of One is so rich, vast and esoteric with the some of the same conceptual teachings all religions were meant to teach. According to RA , “The information buried within has to do with a deeper understanding of love and light, and the attempts of infinite intelligence through many messengers to teach/learn those entities of your sphere”.
Jesus, Buddha, Moses, Chakras, our energy centers and Balancing and so much more are discussed. The negative group called Orion have been attempting to enslave the world populations for centuries as they are trying today. Just consider our world today. We are in a spiritual battle within ourselves and outside forces. The battle within can only be won by the self and the audio book, Course of Miracles may help you with that battle.
It is about our positive vs negative thoughts, emotions and actions involving , love vs fear. We have free-will to choose to either remain asleep or try to wake up by exploring the truth. Waking up begins when you begin shedding the old belief systems and being opened minded to the same but with a different understanding of what we have been told. It’s an effort to look within yourself, meditate, study and seek the truth. Regardless your religion, beliefs, race, or culture, the Law of One will provide a deeper understanding of our world, self-realization, our relationship with God, Infinite Intelligence.

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” — Albert Einstein
In today’s fast-paced world, with so many things to distract us, it’s easy to focus on the outside world and neglect what’s on the inside. In our quest for more, it often seems like we’re trying to fill some sort of void that we can’t quite identify; perhaps the void is a spiritual one, which is why it never seems to be filled by material pursuits or empty distractions.
Research shows that when we are out of touch with our internal selves, and particularly when we lack a spiritual connection, both our mental and physical health can suffer.
While spirituality varies among cultures and among individuals, there are some basic truths connecting those with upright intentions, and these principles can guide us in living as good people.
When we work on fostering our spiritual sides, studies show that memory and cognition improve, immunity is boosted, blood pressure improves, things like depression, stress, and anxiety lessen, anger and resentment decrease, and the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions also decreases.
Strengthening our spiritual sides increases our overall levels of happiness, hope, optimism, and internal calm. We may find a deeper meaning and purpose for our lives. An analysis of research studies revealed that those who are more spiritual have stronger marital relationships, commit fewer crimes, have significantly lower rates of substance abuse, perform better in school, and thus have an overall positive impact on those around them and society as a whole.
With so many great benefits, let’s take a look at a few simple things we can do to strengthen our spiritual well-being.
Cultivate Integrity
According to the American Heritage dictionary, integrity is “steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code,” or “the quality or condition of being whole or undivided; completeness.”
Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. Of course, looking at it from a spiritual perspective, nothing truly goes unseen.
Integrity requires being honest with oneself and others, self-discipline and willpower, and a commitment to upholding our values and principles, even if it means we lose out as a result. It means not taking the easy way out, and not choosing our self-interest over what’s right.
There is a proverb that says, “There’s no pillow as soft as a clear conscience.” A clean conscience comes only through living a life of integrity, and its importance was well-known to older generations, who were often heard saying, “The reason I sleep well is because I have a clean conscience.” Unfortunately, the value of integrity has been largely lost in modern times, and in its place, a focus on money and a desire to get ahead have taken its place. Coincidentally, problems sleeping are common.
To live with integrity, it’s important that we identify our values to help determine the kind of person we are and who we want to be. This brightens our moral compass. As we strive to live this way, our character becomes more grounded in goodness, while our negative aspects are weakened and eliminated.
Forgive and Let Go
Forgiveness is an integral part of all upright spiritual teachings. For example, Jesus said, “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.” Luke 6:27–28
When we are treated unkindly or in a way we view as unfair, we may feel justified in our anger or resentment toward another person. But when we carry these things in our hearts, as the saying goes, it’s like drinking poison and thinking it will harm the other person.
Several years ago, I had a co-worker who regularly disagreed with me. It created a lot of tension, and over time, I developed resentment toward her for being controlling and trying to tell me how to do my job. I found myself increasingly disliking going to work, and even considered looking for another job.
Then one day, a light bulb went off. I thought: “This is my job. I can either go to work and be miserable, or I can go to work and be happy. It’s up to me.”
With this realization, I went to work the next day with a different attitude. I forgave what I viewed as my co-worker’s transgressions, and began to let go of the resentment I’d had. I kept a pleasant demeanor and didn’t let little things get to me, and as a result, I somehow felt lighter. The things that had bothered me now seemed so insignificant that I often didn’t even notice them unless someone pointed them out.
The amazing thing was, as I changed myself, my surroundings changed. My co-worker stopped trying to tell me how to do my job all the time, and the situation between us became harmonious. This unintended consequence of practicing forgiveness and working on changing myself benefitted not just me, but the environment around me.
Act Selflessly
Altruism, or selflessness, is another universal teaching in upright spiritual practices. As Buddha said, “A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity.”
To act with selflessness is to let go of one’s own desires for the benefit of others. It means helping another person out of the goodness of your heart, without any expectation of reward. It is putting yourself in another person’s shoes and having true compassion.
Unfortunately, in today’s society, the opposite isn’t only promoted, but often applauded and even rewarded. But the good news is, with some introspection and awareness, selflessness can be learned and gradually become a part of our daily lives.
Little acts of kindness, such as listening to another person without thinking of what we’re going to say next, bringing a cup of coffee to a coworker, or mowing our elderly neighbor’s lawn, are simple ways we can put others before ourselves.
As we go about our day, it’s a good idea to pause and ask ourselves, “Why am I doing this?” In other words, what’s our true motivation behind our actions? Are we taking our ill friend a bowl of soup because we know how miserable it is to have the flu and want to help her feel better, or because we want to hear we’re such a great friend or what a good cook we are? Examining our thoughts is key.
Helping for the sake of helping, with a pure and genuine heart, benefits others, and inadvertently ourselves as well. Studies have shown that altruistic behaviors lead to more peace of mind, lowered cortisol levels, and even decreased risk of heart disease, to name a few.
Practice Gratitude
In a world where we can have almost anything we want whenever we want it, it’s easy to take things for granted and lose sight of the importance of gratitude.
Recently, an incident occurred when I was teaching my son about being grateful for what he had and not expecting more and more. My husband overheard our conversation and joined in to stress what I was saying. He surprised me when he told our son: “Every day when I wake up, I say a prayer. I don’t ask for anything. I only say ‘thank you,’ even if it’s just for my two arms and legs that allow me to go to work, or for the roof over my head.”
Being grateful for what we have, without desiring or asking for more, even in the face of difficulties and struggles, is most certainly a worthwhile endeavor.
Studies have shown that gratitude can be cultivated. By doing things like keeping a gratitude journal, or reflecting on three things we’re grateful for at the end of every day, we strengthen our gratitude muscle. We can even learn to be grateful for the hard times.
Leonardo da Vinci said: “Obstacles cannot crush me. Every obstacle yields to stern resolve. He who is fixed to a star does not change his mind.” Our difficulties help steel our resolve to achieve our goals and strengthen who we are. And without the hard times, how would we know what we’re capable of?
Look for the Lesson
Not a day goes by that we don’t encounter multiple opportunities to improve ourselves. Everything happens for a reason. While we may not understand why things occur, what we can come to understand is the lesson contained within.
While working with my co-worker, I had another realization: The things that annoyed me about her were actually things that existed in me—she was just a mirror reflecting what was in me. At first, this wasn’t something I even wanted to admit to myself, let alone anyone else, and wondered if I really had such a controlling way about myself.
As I paid attention to my thoughts and behaviors, sure enough, I saw the hard truth: I, too, had my own way of wanting to control things. As I reflected on the situation more later, I discovered that the situation was an opportunity to look at myself and learn some valuable lessons.
I also realized that when a certain type of situation kept repeating itself, though it might take different forms, it was trying to teach me a lesson. As I began to watch for patterns in the things that happened in my life, I also learned that if something about another person annoyed me, it was a sure sign that I had that thing in me in some form or another.
Over the years, I’ve seen that my most valuable lessons have actually come out of my most difficult situations. Though I didn’t relish having those painful or hard times, I saw that they did, in fact, serve an important purpose—self-growth. And if I didn’t work on improving that part of myself, the situation would keep recurring in different scenarios.
When my son entered elementary school, I began having regular talks with him that we dubbed “life lessons.” I tried to teach him the importance of being kind to others, no matter how he was treated, to be honest, thoughtful, patient, and to share with others. I also made up “what if” scenarios to get him to think about how he might handle different types of difficult situations, and then we would discuss possible solutions.
One day, when a little boy treated him unkindly in second grade, he came home and told me that he wasn’t mean back to him, and said, “I think his momma must not teach him about life lessons.” When my son did do something wrong, I tried to get him to understand why it was wrong and to think about how he could do better next time.
My hope is that these lessons laid the groundwork for my son to learn how to reflect upon his own actions, see what he could learn from them, and continually strive to be a better person.
In my view, what happens in our lives is meant to teach us to rectify our wrongs and change ourselves for the better by improving our patience, honesty, kindness, empathy, and other good qualities.
In Conclusion
Research has borne out what common sense tells us: Strengthening our spiritual well-being is good for both our mental and physical health. It elevates our moral character, strengthens our relationships, improves our performance in school and at work—and is an essential underpinning of a good society.
As Rumi said: “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” By employing some of these techniques in our everyday lives, we can improve ourselves, and naturally have a positive influence on the world around us.

Russia Issues Warning to Countries Supplying Weapons to Ukraine

Russia’s Foreign Ministry on Monday issued an apparent warning to European Union countries providing weapons to Ukrainian defense forces after Russia’s invasion last week.
“There will be a harsh response to the EU actions. Russia will continue to ensure the achievement of vital national interests irrespective of the sanctions or their threat. It is time Western nations realized that their complete dominance in the global economy is long gone,” the Foreign Ministry told Interfax.
On April 23rd the US Embassy in Ukraine acknowledged that there are biological laboratories in Ukraine that are under the control of the Pentagon…….
Serbian and Bulgarian media, it is reported that the US has more than 400 bacteriological laboratories around the world, including at least 15 in Ukraine.
There are exclusively American ones, and they are financed at the expense of the US Department of Defence. The laboratories are located in Odessa, Vinnytsia, Uzhgorod, Lvov (three), Kiev (three), Kherson, Ternopol, and near Crimea and Lugansk.
It then warned that “EU citizens and entities involved in the delivery of lethal weapons, fuel, and lubricants to Ukraine will bear responsibility for any consequences of such actions to manifest themselves during the ongoing special military operation.”
“They cannot fail to understand how dangerous these consequences are,” the ministry stated. It did not elaborate on what penalty or punishment Russia might try to inflict.
Over the past weekend, EU policymakers agreed to send about $560 million worth of weapons, ammunition, and aid to Ukraine’s military as it battles a Russian invasion.
“For the first time ever, the EU will finance the purchase and delivery of weapons and other equipment to a country that is under attack,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said during a news conference. “This is a watershed moment,” she added.
At the same time, the EU shut down its airspace to all Russian planes, including commercial jets and private aircraft. But NATO officials and White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday ruled out enforcing a “no-fly” zone over Ukraine, arguing that such a move would put the United States and NATO in a direct confrontation with Russia.
Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, meanwhile, said that he rejects Russia’s assertions that Western countries are escalating the conflict.
Russian President Vladimir Putin “is the one escalating this and continues to do so,” he told reporters in Washington. “We’re going to continue to stand by Ukrainian Armed Forces, as we have and other NATO countries have, and we’re going to continue to find ways to help them defend themselves..”
On Monday, the first round of talks aimed at stopping the fighting between Ukraine and Russia ended with no agreement except to keep talking. A top Putin aide and head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, said that the talks lasted nearly five hours and that the envoys “found certain points on which common positions could be foreseen.” He said they agreed to continue the discussions in the coming days.
On Monday, a 17-mile convoy consisting of hundreds of armored vehicles, tanks, artillery, and support vehicles was just 17 miles from the center of Kyiv, according to satellite imagery from the Maxar company.
