It is always interesting to explore different beliefs, philosophies and religions to find commonality. It seems especially important today with our world turned upside down.
The Chinese word Tao or Dao is used in an attempt to identify, by name, that nameless Infinite Energy, a Divine Intelligence beyond our understanding. The energy makes up the physical and metaphysical worlds in all of its manifestations, both known and unknown. The original conception of Dao was simply the observation that reality has a certain way about it. The Dao or the “Way’ encompasses all of existence. Some may call it God’s will, or an atheist may call it the laws of nature, labels pointing to the same concept.
The Daoists understood the Dao as the appropriate way for humans to live their lives. But for the Daoists, following the way was participating in the Dao of nature, the changes and rhythms of the universe and the natural world. For Daoists, to neglect the way of nature was the root of society’s misery. They believe if a person follows the “way” or “path” and lives a life of virtue, then the way of nature, heaven, Earth, and humanity will be balanced.
Followers of Dao is to master what is within each of us and realize the power within. One has to know themselves to gain intuitive understanding and discernment. This basic concept was also taught by Jesus, Buddha and Krishna. Even though Daoism does not name a tradition by a founding thinker, is it believed that a teacher named Lao Tzu reported to have written the dao de jing 2500 years ago It was considered one of the wisest ancient books, living in unity with nature and the way or Dao. It is also the most translated text into English next to the Bible. It is difficult to interpret because of its poetic, evocative style and its elusive subject. It is a book of mystery and can be translated as the “Classic of the Way and the Virtue.”
The goal is balance yin, our feminine side, and yang, our masculine side. According to the Chinese, Energetic fields are divided into Yin and Yang. The theory of yin and yang energy represents the duality of balance and harmony within the body as well as the universe. Earth energy is Yin while Heaven energy is Yang. The video below is an excellent summary providing insight on how to be spiritual from a Daoist perspective
We all feel it and know there is something far greater than ourselves, a divine presents urging us to move forward, to know our true-selves, to explore all the possibilities.
Individually, we can discover our true-selves by releasing the old ways and allowing the divine energy to be our guide. According to the Law of One we all have several guides available. Two of these guides are the polarity of male and female and the third is androgynous representing a more unified mental power. The signs are unique to each person. It is important to recognize the polarity, positive and negative entities providing the signs or messages. For those who are seeking the truth, the signs may be more noticeable such as thoughts, emotions, dreams, numerology, music, sensations of the body and nature just to name a few. It is not about recognition of their powers, but a reminder of our divine power. Free will of the individual is paramount, and any guidance may be seen in either the positive or negative polarity depending upon the choice of the individual. The power is available to all and it starts with realizing the power within. We are creating our reality with imagination, visualization and the power of our thoughts, emotions and actions.
Imagine the power of Meditation. It has been proven from a scientific perspective, group meditation called “Maharishi Effect,”reduces crime. So much so that Merseyside, England, went from being third highest recorded crime rate to the lowest-ranked city in England during the time of group meditation. Other cities around the world had similar effects when groups of people meditated at the same time each day. In physics that affect is referred to the unified field theory (UFT), waves of vibration flow from everything in the universe affecting the collective consciousness. It should be noted the Maharishi Effect was the only meditation method that was studied. There is no right or wrong way to meditate, only your way.
Whatever method of mediation method used, the late Dr. Valerie V. Hunt, scientist, author, lecturer and Professor Emeritus of Physiological Science at the University of California confirmed electromagnetic energy is the most plentiful constant energy of our universe. It is a part of all structures living and dead, including the atmosphere. We create electromagnetic energies in the atoms of our living cells, which we enhance by the reaction with the atmospheric energy field. We know this expanded energy field as the human aura. Without this biofield life would not exist and there would be only an inner biochemical mix. Dr. Hunt was involved in research that is uncovering the various dimensions involved in the bioenergetic transactions between humans and the environment as they relate to human behaviors, emotions, health, illness, and disease, as well as scientifically quantifying the human aura and the levels of consciousness it contains.
Consider the possibility of humanity joining together for a world wide meditation once a week on designated day, at your own time and in your own way ie, group meditations, your religious affiliation or simply going to your sacred space. When we allow God’s love and light shine through us, we are allowing divine energy to work and raise the global consciousness so we will create the change we wish to see in our world. “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” Are we the meek? Is it our time to inherit the earth? Or, have we always inherited the earth and just now awakening?
Get in the meditation habit and get in touch with the Divine. Rekindle the wisdom that has been lost through the ages. By just taking 5-20 minutes of meditative prayer, you will learn of the divine presence and be able to generate positives waves of vibration that can change our world. Meditation Warriors is a group that provides guidance.
We already know in our hearts there is a power within us, but lack of wisdom or knowledge to understand. Our Ancient teachers provide some insight. According to the Parallel Sayings by Richard Hooper:
“Wisdom and Knowledge find those with a pure heart,” Jesus, Dialogue of the Savior.
“I abide in hearts out of compassion replacing ignorance and darkness with a shining lamp.” Krishna, Bhagavad Gita.
“Choosing the path of wisdom, become aware of those things which lead you forward, and those things which hold you back.” Buddha
“Perfect wisdom comes spontaneously to those who seek it.” Lao Tzu, Chang Tzu

We are emotional beings. Love is personal to each of us and cannot be defined or explained in simple terms. In 1763, Emanuel Swedenborg said In Love and Wisdom, “Man knows that there is such a thing as love, but he does not know what love is. He knows that there is such a thing as love from common speech, as when it is said, he loves me, a king loves his subjects, and subjects love their king, a husband loves his wife, a mother her children, and conversely; also, this or that one loves his country, his fellow citizens, his neighbor; and likewise of things abstracted from person, as when it is said, one loves this or that thing. But although the word love is so universally used, hardly anybody knows what love is.”
Do we know any more today about love? In 1763, there were 700 million people in the world with libraries and horses with cobblestone streets in sparsely populated areas, taking days to get information from one place to another.
Today we have 11 times more people with instant information on our cell phones, iPads, and laptops. Just google it and you get instant answers, if it is not censored and then you have to check the validity. What we have learned is that theheart electromagnetic field can be measured several feet from our bodies. Our emotions are constantly up and down, positive and negative, always present and affecting our energy field. Love is a powerful emotion that we have felt in our relationships with families, friends, co-workers, lovers and former lovers, school mates, casual acquaintances and strangers. Our emotions dominate us, the way we think, sleep, eat, our moods and how we perceive life.
Look what 7.7 billion people on earth have done radiating either positive or negative vibrations, nonstop regarding the COVID19; it has affected our homes, jobs, cities, countries and our world. Our emotions are affected by everything we do, hear and see.
Jesus said“love your neighbor as yourself.“
Lao Tzu said in the Tao Te Ching, “nothing but good comes to him who loves others as he loves himself.”
“As a mother would protect her only child with her life … cultivate a boundless love towards all beings.” Buddha
Imagine 7.7 billion people radiating love and positive vibrations and how that would change our world …. Be part of the change and pass this on!!!!
Spiritual evolution is happening around the world and your spiritual path is unique to you. There is not one size fits all. There is wonder and frustration, unbelievable to accepting. You will beginning to realize the world is not as it seems and the physical and metaphysical worlds are inseparable. What we thought was true no longer applies. You begin to realize how thoughts, emotions and actions not only create your reality but the world. Look how COVID19 has created fear and doubt around the world.
Perhaps is time to accept and realize humanity is not alone in the universe and our purpose is to learn how to balance love and wisdom. Love is the most powerful energy in the universe. The signs are all around , we just be mindful of the moment and know that and God, Infinite Intelligence is with you always.
We all are experiencing a global spiritual awakening. There are no steps or stages that can be measure, no degree can be earned, the only thing man can do is guide you. Looking back at mans track record, makes one ponder and realize how we have been enslaved in concepts and belief systems.
“A provocative, mind-opening experience that awakens us to new realities and levels of awareness that were once known and understood by the ancients.” Dr. James Hurtak, Academy for Future Science, Palo Alto, USA

The Law of One is another excellent source for the seeker. Both are available free.
We are all on a spiritual journey and obviously the first step to bring God, Infinite Intelligence, back into our lives. As we progress spiritually, there will be signs if you pay attention. Just trust yourself. The Only Planet of Choice and The Law of One provides the information and tools to find your way.
Our lives have limited time with limited energy; being in balance is very important. Our focus is on the material aspect of our world; providing for our families, trying to stay healthy, and trying to find our way spiritually. We all have problems and troubles. However, how we handle those situations are entirely in our control. The wonderful thing about our lives is we have free-will and the ability to choose. Keep in mind energy flows where your attention goes.
Balancing involves the body, mind and spirit which includes diet, movement of the body, dealing with negative and positive emotions, and reconnecting to the source of creation. When you reconnect, you will realize the oneness of the creation. God, Tao, Infinite Creator, Universal Mind are one in the same, and is the Source of our existence.
Consider the sun or the earth as spiritual energy, or divine force. The energy that nourishes our body, mind and spirit. Sunlight is something we cannot live without. Light is the food for all life. The human body, according to the doctrine of chromotherapy, is basically composed of colors. Insufficient sunlight will result in low Vitamin D deficiencies, leading to the development of prostate and breast cancer, memory loss, and an increased risk for developing dementia and schizophrenia. Every creature and plant on earth is engulfed in light that affects its health conditions. It is interesting to note the energy of the sun has the colors of the rainbow, like the chakras of the human body.
Grounding, as we all know when we go to the beach, improves sleep and reduces stress. When I go barefoot, I am more relaxed and have a feeling of connection to the earth. Grounding is bare skin to the earth. Performing Chi gong or any meditative practice outside barefoot is an excellent way to cultivate energy as well as connect to mother nature. Grounding is a simple way to prevent and help inflammation with these techniques.
Movement of the body to help the flow of energy can be anything from gardening to walking in nature, if possible, as well as Tai-chi or Chi-gong. Any kind of strenuous workout or exercise is helpful.
Meditation and prayer have been proven to be beneficial. Dr. Andrew Newberg’s research showed how meditative prayer changes our brain by using a 12 minute exercise, called the Kirtan Kriya. It is a type of meditative prayer when practiced daily for 8 weeks will improve cognition and activate parts of the brain that are central to memory.
Food is the fuel for the body so a diet should limit processed foods and sugar. Be thankful for the food that you put into your body. Intermittent fasting is very helpful and can be done by not eating in a 10–24 hours period. Drink plenty of water. Fasting will assist your body’s immune system in fighting off disease and illness.
Our thoughts and Emotions control who we are and what be become. Paracelsus, Father of Modern Medicine said “The spirit is the master, imagination the tool, and the body the plastic material . . . The power of the imagination is a great factor in medicine. It may produce diseases in man and in animals, and it may cure them . .. Ills of the body may be cured by remedies or by the power of the spirit acting through the soul.”
Being in balance means looking within and discovering your true self in your own way as Buddha did. Evaluate your life, determine how you would like to live. Write an affirmation and get in a daily meditation practice. Realize your thoughts, emotions and and actions help create your reality as well as those around you.
In your own way, be of service to others, finds ways that cultivates the expression and love of the Divine, and learn the ways of love and wisdom. Love is the one emotion that can overcome all. It is also the most difficult to understand fully, and certainly the most difficult to achieve. A world where everyone loves one another, as Jesus said, would not only bring balance to the body, but the world.
The wisdom and insight we can learn from ancient texts is never ending. More than 5000 years ago the ancient Chinese masters of esoteric healing came to the understanding that everything is composed of the same energetic substance called Qi. They observed the oneness and wholeness in all existence and everything is energetically interconnected as one body. The ancient Chinese believed all transformations happened under the influence of Qi. Birth, aging and death of all things with Heaven and Earth, including wind, water, mountains, forest, humans, animals and insects are caused by and formed out of Qi. Qi is the constant energy motion within all things.
One ancient Chinese text of mystery and beauty is the The Daodejing, believed to be written by the sage Lao Tzu. It is the most translated text into English next to the Bible. Daoism is the second of the three major philosophies of China. The Daodejing responds to the political, family centered morality of Confucius; rejecting man-made hierarchies and arguing the value of simplicity and humility over power and ambition. It can be compared today with Capitalism and Spirituality. The dao is the way of nature in a universe that consists of opposites in harmony, and de (virtue, integrity) is an innate human strength. Following the dao brings humans freedom, serenity, and longevity. The original conception of Dao was simply the observation that reality has a certain way about it. The “Way’ encompasses all of existence. Some may call it the way to God, an atheist may call it the laws of nature, all pointing to the same thing, something I call Infinite Intelligence.
The Dao can be considered as two-fold, one represented by the law of physics describing the universe and it’s manifestations such as energy and light; and at the personal level describing the human sphere and its manifestation such as our thoughts, emotions and actions. The Daodejing or Tao Te Ching was trying to tell us these principles. If we can understand these forces are inseparable, the physical and metaphysical, it will make our spiritual journey richer and more fruitful.
If one looks for Dao, there is nothing solid to see; If one listens for it, there is nothing loud enough to hear. Yet if one uses it, it is inexhaustible.
Consider the Dao as Infinite Intelligence, pure Universal Energy of divine mystery and the sage Lao Tzu a divine messenger of the 5th century BCE. Lao Tzu, Buddha, Krishna and Jesus were divine messengers providing the way for all to see. Lao Tzu tells us the “Act in harmony with the Way and you will become the Way. Nurture the way within yourself and you will live a virtuous life.” Buddha said ” Those that follow the way are like dry grass. They need to be protected from the flames of desire.” While Krishna tells us ” Let those who are wise seek the Way. Those who find it will not return. ” The apocalypse Jesus tells us to “Open the door to the Way that is within you, so that you may be a guide to those who wish to follow you. Encourage all those who are ready to follow the Way and receive its blessings.”
The Daoists understood Dao as the appropriate way for humans to live their lives. But for the Daoists, following the way was participating in the Dao of nature, the changes and rhythms of the universe and the natural world. To neglect the way of nature was the root of society’s misery. They believe if a person follows the “Way” or “path” and lives a life of virtue, then the way of nature, heaven, Earth, and humanity will be balanced.
There is a strong element of mysticism by losing one’s sense as a separate, individual self while perceiving a much greater reality. This mystical sense is both encouraged by and expressed through particular practices and ways of being in the Daodejing. One of the most important practices involves diminishing the ego; such as the cravings for attention, recognition, and control. True sages were not interested in the material world but for the welfare of others. “Sages blend into the world,” says the Daodejing. To blend into the world, one lives a simple existence.
A simple existence is the understanding Qi is the Catalyst for everything. The ancient Chinese believed that the Qi of Yin and Yang fulfils the “Great Void” (Wuji) enveloping all things and leaving nothing outside its boundary.
“Dao is forever and he that possess it, Though his body ceases, is not destroyed.”
The goal is balance yin, our feminine side, and yang, our masculine side and make into one. According to the Chinese, energetic fields are divided into Yin and Yang. The theory of yin and yang energy represents the duality of balance and harmony within the body as well as the universe. Earth energy is Yin while Heaven energy is Yang. Those who master and balance the bodies Yin-Yang energy were considered “Tian Shen” or Xian meaning “immortals”.
The different sacred texts from different cultures of the world have essentially the same message. For example balancing yin and yang, the feminine and masculine, and the 114th saying of Jesus in the Gospel of Thomas. Simon Peter said to him, “Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of life.” Jesus said, “I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven.”
The Valley Spirit never dies.
It is named the Mysterious Female.
And the doorway of the Mysterious Female
Is the base from which Heaven and Earth sprang.
It is there within us all the while;
Draw upon it as you will, it never runs dry.
In my humble opinion, woman and man are equal and the more we work together in the name of love, compassion and service to others, we can create the world where every human can learn and discover their true selves. The sage Laozi said about the self, “ Some people recognize the self and are amazed. Other people who hear of the Self just wonder. Still others do not understand at all.” He also speaks of love when he said “ The world is transformed by those who love all people, just as you love yourself”.
It starts with us!!!!!
In 1972, excavation in the Mawangdui Han Dynasty tombs in Hunan Province uncovered a silk relic that portrayed drawing of Do yin postures dating prior to the third century BCE. This silk scroll is consider the first complete set of Qigong movement with over half of these illustrates posture are of animal movements used to purge the body’s channels to regulate the Yin and Yang and treat illnesses.
