Why the Unvaccinated Are Concerned About Close Contact With COVID-19 Vaccinated

Learn more about the shedding of mRNA and spike protein

One of the most common questions I am asked from the unvaccinated stems from concerns over “shedding.”

Because the mRNA vaccines have been in development by the US Department of Defense DARPA since 2011, one would have expected that all of the necessary preclinical testing would have been completed before Operation Warp Speed was announced.  The 2015 FDA guidance on Gene Product Shedding Studies with gene therapies, which are defined as “all products that exert their effects by transcription and/or translation of transferred genetic material and/or by integration into the host genome and that are administered in the form of nucleic acids, viruses or genetically modified microorganisms”.[i]

By this statement mRNA vaccines are indeed gene therapy products and should have been submitted to these excretion studies by DARPA funded researchers long ago.[ii]  Sadly, these careful development steps were skipped from the beginning in our military-style vaccine development program, and now the public is grappling with the issue of nucleic acid and Spike protein shedding as a potential concern among those who have worked so hard to remain healthy and free of COVID-19 vaccination.

In the most comprehensive paper on shedding thus far, former Inserm researcher Dr. Helene Banoun has published the basis for which there is great likelihood that mRNA either on lipid nanoparticles or within exosomes is circulatory in blood and is secreted in every body secretion that would naturally expect to contain particles of this size.[iii]

Epoch Times Photo

Fertig et al, have shown mRNA is circulatory in blood for at least two weeks with no reduction in concentration out to that time point.[iv] Likewise, Hanna et al, have found mRNA within breast milk.[v] Less data exist on Spike protein shedding but it is not a far stretch to understand this is well within the realm of reality.

The pivotal questions are:

1) for how long is a recently vaccinated person at risk to shed on to others?

2) can shed mRNA be taken up by the recipient and begin to produce Spike protein just like vaccination?

3) can shed Spike protein cause disease as it does in the vaccinated (e.g. myocarditis, blood clots, etc.)?

It’s time for the lapses by DOD BARDA and NIH BARDA, to immediately be corrected by those agencies funding the necessary independent shedding studies to ensure the public safety of those who wisely deferred on COVID-19 vaccination.  This research should preferably be conducted while the current products are paused and taken off to market to protect others at risk.  Until then, we simply cannot answer these questions for those who sacrificed so much to remain “pure-blood.”

Arizona Attorney General Candidate Sues Over Midterm Election Results

By Zachary Stieber
November 23, 2022 Updated: November 23, 2022

A Republican candidate for Arizona’s attorney general position on Nov. 22 sued his opponent and a slew of election officials, including officials in Maricopa County, alleging that widespread “errors and inaccuracies” caused voter disenfranchisement.

Officials in at least 15 counties have “caused the unlawful denial of the franchise to certain qualified electors, erroneously tallied certain ballots, and included for tabulation in the canvass certain illegal votes in connection with the election for the office of Arizona Attorney General,” Abe Hamadeh, the candidate, said in the complaint.

That includes Maricopa County officials improperly disqualifying ballots cast by people who, as a direct result of poll worker errors, were incorrectly listed as voting previously in the midterm election, Hamadeh added.

“Immediate judicial intervention is necessary to secure the accuracy of the results of the November 8, 2022 general election, and to ensure that candidate who received the highest number of lawful votes is declared the next Arizona Attorney General,” the complaint states.

The filing was lodged in Maricopa County court.

The Arizona attorney general race is headed to a recount, according to Katie Hobbs, the state’s secretary of state, due to the slim margin separating Hamadeh from Democrat candidate Kris Mayes.

Mayes is leading by just 510 votes out of more than 2.5 million cast, according to an unofficial tally from Hobbs’s office.

Mayes and Hobbs, who were named as defendants in the new suit, did not respond to requests for comment. A Maricopa County spokesperson did not immediately return an inquiry.

Problems

Maricopa County officials have acknowledged problems with tabulation equipment, saying the problem affected 30 percent of all voting centers in the county and an estimated 17,000 ballots.

On election day the officials said that voters could place their ballots in a secure box to be counted later. Other options included “checking out” of the poll site and casting a ballot at another location, or utilizing an early ballot if one was possessed.

Both of the latter options required poll workers to properly list the voter as checking out, or leaving the site without casting a ballot, but some workers “were unaware of the process,” the new complaint alleges.

“This pervasive and systematic error directly and proximately resulted in three recurring scenarios in which qualified electors were unlawfully and unconstitutionally disenfranchised,” it added.

Hamadeh and the Republican National Committee, which joined in the legal action, say that at least 146 voters who should have been checked out and who later went to another location were required to vote using provisional ballots, which they say will not be counted because the voter was erroneously listed as having already voted.

At least 273 other voters who should have been checked out utilized early ballots but those ballots will not count because of the same issue, the Republicans said.

Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates, a Republican, failed to outline the steps voters had to take if they left the sites at which there were problems in a widely-viewed Election Day video that featured officials acknowledging for the first time the issues with tabulators, the complaint noted. He did not mention checking out but merely said people could “go to a nearby voting center.”

“Chairman Gates’s instructions foreseeably resulted in the disenfranchisement of a significant number of qualified electors who followed his instructions,” it says. “By inducing voters to leave polling locations and then denying-through a consistent and erroneous practice of failing to properly implement ‘check-out’ procedures-these qualified electors their right to duly cast a ballot for tabulation, the Maricopa County Defendants engaged (through their election boards) in cognizable ‘misconduct,’ and wrongfully excluded valid and legally sufficient votes from the canvass line the race for Arizona Attorney General.”

Other Issues

Other issues include officials allegedly violating the law when they sought to verify early ballot signatures.

Officials must, when receiving a mail-in ballot, compare the signature on the envelope containing the ballot with the signature of the voter on record. If the signatures don’t match, the ballot is invalid unless the voter “cures” the problem within three to five days, depending on the type of election.

A number of the ballot envelopes had mismatched signatures but were still counted because county officials determined the signature matched the signature on a different document other than the registration record, which violates state law, the complaint alleges.

The issue happened across multiple counties, the Republicans say.

They also alleged that in the duplication process—triggered when a ballot is too defective to be read by a tabulator—officials incorrectly transcribed some of the selections in the attorney general race, which led to an inaccurate vote count.

“Arizonans demand answers and deserve transparency about the gross incompetence and mismanagement of the General Election by certain election officials. I will not stop fighting until ALL voters receive justice. See you in court,” Hamadeh said in a statement.

Ronna McDaniel, chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, said that the committee was “proud to join in this legal action.”

“Maricopa County’s election failures disenfranchised Arizonans,” she said. “We’re going to court to get the answers voters deserve.”

FBI Whistleblower Speaks Out Amid Concerns the Agency Has Become Politicized

Suspended FBI special agent Steve Friend discusses why he came forward as a whistleblower, and what’s unfolded since. In September, Friend asserted that the FBI was violating policies and constitutional rights. He alleged that the FBI was deceptively handling Jan. 6 cases and cooking the books on domestic terrorism numbers, among other violations. He said his concerns were ignored by supervisors. Friend was later suspended pending an investigation.

JAN. 6 COVERAGE EXCLUSIVE: Capitol Police Officer Told Agents That Oath Keepers Shielded Him, Sealed FBI Record Shows

An FBI document being kept from the public under court seal undermines the government’s seditious-conspiracy case against the Oath Keepers, shows that the indicted members of the group “are not guilty,” and “proves that the prosecution is lying to the jury,” a former Oath Keepers attorney said in a statement provided to The Epoch Times on Oct. 7.

Jonathon Moseley, who previously represented Oath Keepers defendant Kelly Meggs before his law license was revoked, said an FBI interview with a U.S. Capitol Police officer shows the Oath Keepers protected the officer from an angry mob near the Capitol Rotunda on the afternoon of Jan. 6, 2021.

“This document—together with a photograph of the moment inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6—proves that the prosecution is lying to the jury,” Moseley said in the statement (pdf). “No one who engages in seditious conspiracy or insurrection stops to come to the aid of the police against the mob.

“If the Oath Keepers were involved in any way in any insurrection or conspiracy to obstruct the Joint Session of Congress on January 6, would they turn and stand between the U.S. Capitol Police against the mob?” Moseley asked. “This is not merely a good act. This is absolute proof that there never was any insurrection or seditious conspiracy. The prosecution’s entire case is a fraud upon the American people.”

William Miller, public information officer for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, declined to comment on Moseley’s statements. “We typically do not comment on cases beyond our public statements and filings to the court, and have no comment,” Miller told The Epoch Times in an email.

The FBI document in question, a Form 302 summary of officer Harry Dunn’s interview with two special agents, came up in open court on Oct. 6 during the seditious-conspiracy trial of Oath Keepers founder Elmer Stewart Rhodes III and four co-defendants, Kelly Meggs, Kenneth Harrelson, Jessica Watkins, and Thomas Caldwell.

Judge Issues Public Warning

Prosecutor Jeffrey Nestler informed Judge Amit Mehta that Moseley was “threatening” to release a sealed document. In response, Mehta took the unusual step of suggesting the news media covering the trial post messages to Moseley on social media saying that he would be jailed if he released the document.

“These public tweets from journalists reporting on Mehta’s public warning are visible as an incredible event in the already farcical prosecution,” Moseley said.

Two FBI agents interviewed Dunn on May 18, 2021, about the incident in the Small House Rotunda. According to video footage from an independent journalist, and portions of the FBI summary of Dunn’s interview reviewed by The Epoch Times, a group of Oath Keepers came upon a volatile standoff in the Small House Rotunda at 2:48 p.m. on January 6.

Dunn and at least two very agitated protesters in the crowd were shouting at each other. Dunn has said he did not have his finger on the trigger of his rifle, according to his FBI interview. A bullet was in the chamber but the firearm’s safety was on, he said.

Rhodes told the FBI in an interview that same month that Dunn shouted at the crowd, “I’m going to take as many of you [expletives] with me if you come for my rifle,” according to an interview summary obtained by The Epoch Times.

The Oath Keepers “got in between that cop and the Trump supporters and calmed things down and de-escalated the situation,” Rhodes said. “And protected—and protected him.”

In a March interview with The Epoch Times, Rhodes said the situation in the Small House Rotunda could have gone critical very quickly. The stakes in the situation were high, which is why the Oath Keepers stepped in to be a buffer, Rhodes said.

“If you’re armed and you got unarmed assailants, multiples coming at you, you’re in a lethal-force situation and you can’t let them take your gun,” he said. “So in that kind of situation, law enforcement officers will shoot.”

Kellye SoRelle, former general counsel for the Oath Keepers, told FBI agents in May 2021 that the people shouting at Dunn were “agitators.”

At the time, Dunn was guarding the stairs leading down to the Lower West Terrace tunnel entrance. Dozens of officers were inside the building in that location, which was used as a decontamination station for police hit with pepper spray, according to bodycam footage reviewed by The Epoch Times.

Dunn said when the Oath Keepers approached him, he told them the protesters were fighting police, according to the FBI interview summary.

The Oath Keepers told Dunn they would be a barrier between him and the angry crowd, the FBI document said. Dunn said he “allowed them” to stand in front of him to keep the crowd “from getting down the stairs.”

Dunn told the FBI he was “not angry or scared” but rather “distressed inside.” He had his rifle “flush with his chest” in “Condition 1,” meaning a round was in the chamber, the FBI summary said.

Oath Keepers member Graydon Young said he and other Oath Keepers aided numerous people in need of first aid after they entered the Capitol Rotunda that afternoon, according to a summary he wrote on Jan. 8, 2021.

The Oath Keepers had reached the top of the east steps at the Columbus Doors and “got caught in [the] crowd and shoved in,” Young said.

‘Trying to De-Escalate’

“Once we were in we tried to discourage property destruction,” Young wrote. “I specifically yelled at people who knocked over a sign in the hallway and broke glass. That made us angry … we saw that as our property.”

Young said he approached a police officer and told her the Oath Keepers’ conflict was with Antifa, not law enforcement.

“We had been told that Antifa was in the crowd inciting the riots and they were the ones damaging property,” Young wrote. “We also knew someone had been shot and were trying to de-escalate.”

Young was referring to the fatal shooting of Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt in the hallway outside the Speaker’s Lobby at 2:44 p.m., some 5 minutes before.

Young wrote that his team leader, “OK Gator 1” [Meggs] reported that he and a few other Oath Keepers “interposed between a police officer and the angry mob.”

“He appeared distressed and had his finger on the trigger,” Young wrote. “Our guys de-escalated by firmly telling both sides to calm down. Another police officer was advised to give ground. That officer acknowledged the situation was a ‘broken arrow.’”

In military parlance, “broken arrow” means a unit has been overrun and needs additional support or backup.

Dunn later said he did not know what a “broken arrow” was and did not hear anyone use the term on January 6. While acknowledging Oath Keepers stood between him and the crowd, Dunn said he did not need to be “de-escalated.”

Dunn disputed the reports that his finger was on the rifle trigger, saying that would have only happened if he was aiming the firearm at an active threat, the FBI summary said.

Epoch Times Photo

In June 2022, Young agreed to plead guilty to two counts of conspiracy in a deal with federal prosecutors. A conviction for those crimes could carry up to 25 years in prison. Young has not been sentenced.

The new details about the Dunn incident will likely be used by defense attorneys in the Rhodes trial to counter prosecutors’ claims the Oath Keepers were attacking the Capitol in order to disrupt the certification of the 2020 presidential election results. Oct. 7 was the prosecution’s fourth day presenting evidence against the Oath Keepers in U.S. District Court in Washington.

Moseley said he disputes the government’s claim that there were no closed-circuit security cameras in the Small House Rotunda that would have captured the Oath Keepers’ interactions with Officer Dunn.

Must Have Been Cameras

“Each year tourists, school children, lobbyists, and the public mainly visit the Rotunda, Statuary Hall, the so-called “crypt” museum room, and the hallway in between where the incident on January 6 occurred,” Moseley said.

“The incident was at the top of a major stairway, where a camera would be placed. Yet the government claims that they cannot find security camera recordings of the incident in this very public location. The concealment of the video recordings alone could justify dismissal of the prosecutor’s case.”

Moseley disputed that he issued any threat about the FBI document in his correspondence with prosecutors Nestler and Kathryn Rakoczy. He said he “reminded prosecutors of their own stated policy and gave them the unwarranted and extra courtesy of notifying them that he would be writing a news analysis article on the topic.”

Moseley said in previous situations, including FBI interview notes of Michael Greene, the operations leader for the Oath Keepers on January 6, the documents could be released if redactions were made to blot out the names of FBI agents and any unindicted persons.

The Dunn document “as redacted fails to meet the test of ‘sensitive’ under the protective order,” Moseley said. “There is no legitimate interest in the DOJ in covering up its own fabrication of a criminal case against the Oath Keepers.”

Moseley said he was struck that even after Mehta issued the jail threat in open court that was picked up by myriad news media outlets, “none of those journalists are the slightest bit interested in what the document says.”

Whistleblower Lawyer: FBI Agents Have Lost Confidence in Director Wray

By Jack Phillips
August 31, 2022 Updated: August 31, 2022

A lawyer representing several unnamed FBI whistleblowers said Wednesday that agents have lost confidence in the bureau’s leadership amid recent controversy.

The FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have faced Republican criticism over the raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, while a number of whistleblowers have provided testimony to GOP lawmakers about alleged political bias at the bureau. Over the past weekend, high-ranking FBI agent Timothy Thibault departed the agency amid whistleblower complaints.

“I’m hearing from [FBI personnel] that they feel like the director has lost control of the bureau,” Kurt Siuzdak, a lawyer and former agent who represents FBI whistleblowers, told the Washington Times on Wednesday. “They’re saying, ‘How does this guy survive? He’s leaving. He’s got to leave.’”

Siuzdak told the paper that FBI agents have told him they’ve “lost confidence” in FBI Director Christopher Wray. “All Wray does is go in and say we need more training and we’re doing stuff about it, or we will not tolerate it.”

In March, Siuzdak told the New York Post that he left the FBI after a 25-year career as an agent due to what he says is a lack of accountability among FBI managers and the bureau’s leadership. He blamed it on political biases held by top managers and leaders.

Whistleblowers, Siuzdak told the paper this week, have alleged that Wray didn’t take action on a variety of matters, including sexual harassment claims and agents being forced to sign fake affidavits. Trump nominated Wray in 2017 after firing former Director James Comey.

When contacted by The Epoch Times last week about recent whistleblower claims, the FBI issued a statement that the “men and women of the FBI do their jobs with rigor, objectivity, and a fierce commitment to our mission.”

“All FBI employees are held to the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. Allegations of misconduct are taken seriously and referred to the Inspection Division or the Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General. Through the disciplinary process, the FBI will continue to hold employees accountable for any substantiated misconduct,” the agency added.

The FBI on Wednesday appeared to send the same statement to the Washington Times about Siuzdak’s interview. The Epoch Times has contacted the agency for additional comment.

More Details

Last week, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said he’s received new whistleblower complaints from FBI employees, calling for a new investigation.

“The guy told me that he loves the bureau, that he doesn’t want to see the bureau defunded or destroyed, but that he really feels a need to come forward so that there’s a focus on the things they ought to be doing, not trying to affect political outcomes,” the GOP lawmaker said.

As for Thibault, a lawyer representing the former FBI agent told news outlets that he left the agency on his own terms and it had nothing to do with Hunter Biden or Trump. Whistleblowers have alleged to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) that Thibault slow-walked the Biden laptop investigation and expressed animus toward Trump, according to letters he’s sent to FBI leaders.

“In the last couple of months, and particularly the last 24 hours,” a lawyer for Thibault said Tuesday, “there have been a number of inaccurate media stories and allegations on social media about our client.”

The lawyer said Thibault did not supervise the investigation into Hunter Biden. And neither did Thibault display any political biases in his work, the lawyer added, reported Time magazine.

“In particular, Mr. Thibault was not involved in any decisions related to any laptop that may be at issue in that investigation, and he did not seek to close the investigation,” the lawyer said, adding that he wasn’t involved in the Mar-a-Lago raid either.

FBI and Zuckerberg, It Is Getting Interesting

FBI Responds to Zuckerberg’s Claim It Helped Suppress Hunter Biden Laptop Story

By Tom Ozimek
August 27, 2022 Updated: August 27, 2022
The FBI has responded to an explosive claim by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg that Facebook algorithmically censored references to Hunter Biden’s laptop ahead of the 2020 election after receiving a warning from the agency about “Russian propaganda.”

Zuckerberg said on an Aug. 25 episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” that Facebook actively reduced the reach of social media posts discussing Hunter Biden’s laptop in response to an advisory from the FBI to some Facebook staffers to be on guard for Russian disinformation ahead of the presidential election.

“The background here is the FBI I think basically came to some folks on our team [and] were like, ‘Hey, just so you know, you should be on high alert. We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election, we have it on notice that basically there’s about to be some kind of dump similar to that, so just be vigilant,’” Zuckerberg told Rogan.

Clips featuring Zuckerberg’s response to Rogan quickly went viral, prompting a flurry of takes critical of the FBI, with some accusing the agency of engaging in election interference.

“This isn’t just insane, it’s election interference,” Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) said in a statement, while calling on Zuckerberg to testify before Congress “about the FBI’s attempts to circumvent the First Amendment.”

A similarly scathing take was expressed by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).

“The same FBI who lied about Russian ‘collusion’ and raided President Trump’s home asked Facebook to manipulate its feed to bury the Hunter Biden story,” Jordan said in a statement.

FBI Reacts

As the controversy swirled, the FBI issued a statement to media outlets on Friday, saying that its warning to Facebook was of a general nature and did not include a call to action.

The FBI said it “routinely notifies U.S. private sector entities, including social media providers, of potential threat information, so that they can decide how to better defend against threats” and that the agency “has provided companies with foreign threat indicators to help them protect their platforms and customers from abuse by foreign malign influence actors.”

The FBI added, however, that it “cannot ask, or direct, companies to take action on information received.”

Meta also issued a clarifying statement, saying in a Twitter post that the remarks Zuckerberg made to Rogan were basically the same as what he told Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) in 2020.

“The FBI shared general warnings about foreign interference—nothing specific about Hunter Biden,” Meta said in the statement.

Zuckerberg told Rogan as much on the podcast when asked whether the FBI specified that Facebook needed to “be on guard” about the Hunter Biden laptop story.

“No. I don’t remember if it was that specifically. But it was, it basically fit the pattern,” Zuckerberg replied.

Hunter Biden’s Laptop

The laptop of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, became the subject of scandal and scrutiny in October 2020 after the New York Post broke the story on its contents, which included information about the younger Biden’s foreign dealings and sordid personal life.

After the story broke, much of its coverage by legacy media outlets was focused on the possibility that the laptop was Russian disinformation meant to damage Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

The laptop story was also suppressed by Facebook and Twitter, while a group of former intelligence officials came forward and said in a letter (pdf) that it had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

John Ratcliffe, then-director of national intelligence, said at the time that there was no intelligence that supported the claim that the laptop was Russian disinformation.

More recently, Ratcliffe told Fox News in an interview on Friday that, if the FBI did indeed try to suppress information about Hunter Biden’s laptop, this would amount to election interference.

“It is election interference, to the extent that these allegations are true that FBI agents were knowingly putting bad information out there, absolutely,” Ratcliffe said.

Polling has indicated that if the public had been aware of the suppressed story ahead of the election, it may have cost the elder Biden several percentage points of voters—possibly enough to thwart his bid for the White House.

New Science, Multiple Reports: COVID-19 Vaccine Causes Lung Blockages

BY JENNIFER MARGULIS AND JOE WANG TIMEAUGUST 10, 2022

A team of doctors has alerted the medical world to the danger of artery blockage from COVID vaccination with a new case report, published on August 5, 2022 in the Cureus Journal of Medical Science.

The case report describes how their patient, 67 years old, started to feel short of breath two days after getting the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine against COVID-19. Then, while doing some yard work, he could not catch his breath, even after resting for half an hour. So he went to the emergency room.

A cardiologist was called in, and the patient was admitted to the hospital. Given how bad his test results were, the doctors speculated that he would have had “dismal outcome if urgent treatment had not been initiated.”

In other words, if he had not gone to the ER to receive immediate treatment, he likely would have died.

Pulmonary Embolism Post Vaccination

A CT scan further showed the doctors that the patient had a pulmonary embolism. A pulmonary embolism is a significant blood clot in a major artery leading from the heart to the lungs, cutting off blood flow. His kidneys were also acutely affected by the embolism.

Symptoms of a pulmonary embolism range from shortness of breath, to an abnormally high heart rate (tachycardia), leg swelling (like the patient in this case study had), to sudden death.

This patient was also found to have another clot, a deep vein thrombosis, in his calf. It was this clot that was causing his leg to swell.

Catheter Surgery

The doctors acted quickly to give him blood thinners and prepare him for catheter surgery. They snaked a catheter through his neck into his heart in order to remove the clot.

A few days in the hospital following his surgery, the patient seemed to have fully recovered.

Since this 67-year-old man had no risk factors or previous history of thrombosis, and he had recently had a Pfizer vaccine, the medical team suspected vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia.

Minnesota Dentist Suffers Vaccine-Induced Pulmonary Embolism

As a health care provider, Doug Trebtoske felt he had to set a good example by getting all the recommended COVID-19 vaccines.

Trebtoske, a dentist based in Rochester, Minnesota, told The Epoch Times that, while he did not force his employees to get vaccinated, he “blindly accepted the CDC position on vaccination.”

He was keen on the vaccination because a relative by marriage, who, like Trebtoske, was 68 years old and in good health, died from COVID-19 a month before the vaccines became available.

But after the third Pfizer vaccination, which he received in September 2021, Trebtoske developed a bad cough. He went to urgent care 30 days after this third vaccination because he was experiencing severe rib pain. “The pain was unreal, like someone was sticking a knife in my chest,” he said.

The doctors were not sure what was wrong with him but in early November he was hospitalized with a pulmonary embolism and two broken ribs. He has been hospitalized twice since then, and undergone two rib surgeries.

Trebtoske and his general practitioner both believe that the pulmonary embolism was vaccine induced thrombosis thrombocytopenia from the third dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

Vaccine-induced Immune Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia

When someone has vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia, or VITT, they usually present with blood clots in a vein or an artery (which can cause swelling in one leg, chest pain, or body numbness) as well as with a low platelet count in the blood, according to the American College of Cardiology.

Both thrombosis and thrombocytopenia can be life-threatening.

Dr. Kenji Yamamoto, a cardiovascular surgeon who works at Okamura Memorial Hospital in Shizuoka, Japan, has recorded a significant rise in vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia since COVID-19 vaccination began. Because of the dangers of VITT, Yamamoto believes that the vaccination booster program should be halted.

“The media have so far concealed the adverse events of vaccine administration, such as vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT), owing to biased propaganda,” Yamamoto wrote in a letter published in the journal Virology on June 5, 2022.

Post Vaccination Blood Disorders in Previously Healthy Individuals

Soon after the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccines in Europe, hematologists “began observing previously healthy young individuals present with severe, extensive thrombosis,” according to an article in the journal Blood. “Unlike most cases of thrombosis, there was associated thrombocytopenia, and no predisposing thrombotic risk factors.”

These cases were thought to be linked mainly to the AstraZeneca vaccine, which was widely available in Europe but not in the United States.

Over 70 percent of the young people who got VITT, the onset of which was usually between five and 30 days after SARS-CoV-2 vaccination, died.

More than a dozen other peer-reviewed scientific articles have also discussed this vaccine side effect, with doctors recommending protocols to diagnose VITT, as well as publishing case reports from ThailandIndia, and several other countries.

Five months after the AstraZeneca vaccine was first made available, at least 242 clotting cases and 49 vaccine deaths in younger healthy adults had been reported in the United Kingdom, according to the BBC.

In May 2021, the United Kingdom began recommending that adults between the ages of 18 and 39 be offered an alternative to the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

Then, in October 2021, the New England Journal of Medicine published a study of some 220 cases in the United Kingdom of thrombosis that were found to be vaccine-induced.

These patients developed clots mostly in their lungs (the pulmonary arteries) and their legs, as the Pfizer patient had.

Although VITT had been seen most often following administration of the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccinesother reports have found vaccine-associated thrombosis following Moderna and Pfizer vaccination as well.

For some people, vaccination induces a “prothrombotic state” in which the blood levels of the blood’s clotting cells are disrupted, raising the likelihood of clots forming in the blood vessels.

As the authors of the current case study point out, there were other early warning articles in the scientific literature. A team of six Austrian doctors also published about thrombosis following COVID-19 vaccination in the New England Journal of Medicine, as did a team of Norwegian doctors.

In November 2021, an analysis in the journal Vaccines showed that in just four months in 2021, there were 729,496 adverse events, of which 3,420 were thrombotic; 63 of those affected died: six had had a Moderna vaccine, 25 a Pfizer vaccine, and 32 the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

Denying the Connection

Several doctors at the Mayo Clinic, however, have told Doug Trebtoske, the dentist from Minnesota, that there is no connection between the lung problems he has had and the COVID-19 vaccines. Instead, he said, they diagnosed him with “pulmonary embolism of undetermined origin.”

It’s been nine months since he got his third Pfizer vaccine. Trebtoske is still unwell; he can no longer work. He had to sell his dental practice and he isn’t able to dance anymore. He’s considering yet another major surgery to fix a persistent problem with his ribs that was caused by the pulmonary embolism.

What’s more, he’s tested positive for COVID-19 twice despite having had three vaccines.

If he had to do it again, he’s not sure he would make the same vaccine choices.

“I probably would have been better off not to have gotten the vaccinations, personally,” he said. “I feel my body over-reacts to the vaccine, and that’s why I got the blood clots. My family physician feels the same way.”

Top Causes of Death in US During COVID-19 Pandemic

BY DR. YUHONG DONG AND HEALTH 1+1 AUGUST 10, 2022

A study recently published by the Journal of the American Medical Association indicates that there were two leading causes of death during the COVID-19 pandemic, but neither of them was COVID-19. Rather, they were heart disease and cancer.

The research paper showed the major causes of death in the United States from March 2020 to October 2021. According to the article, 20.1 percent of deaths were due to heart disease, and 17.5 percent were caused by cancer. The third leading cause of death during this time was COVID-19, accounting for 12.2 percent of all deaths.

Cardiovascular disease had always been a leading cause of death, yet the number of heart disease-related deaths during the pandemic has seen an unusual change.

According to the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), the number (pdf) of heart disease deaths before 2020 in the United States had been steadily decreasing on an annual basis. This is likely due to an increase in people’s awareness of heart disease, and technological advancements in the medical field, both of which have likely contributed to more preventive measures being taken against heart disease and an enhanced response mechanism to sudden heart attacks.

However, the number of heart disease deaths started to rise again in 2020. For every 100,000 people, 161.5 died of heart disease in 2019. In 2020, this number increased to 168.2.

COVID-19 Infections Are Related to the Increased Mortality Rate in Heart Disease Patients

The number of heart disease complications in critically ill COVID-19 patients are much larger than average.

A 2020 article published in the British Medical Journal analyzed 5,019 COVID-19 critically ill patients in the intensive care units of 68 hospitals across the United States, and found that 14 percent of them had cardiac arrest, and only 12 percent of those survived the cardiac arrest after receiving CPR.

The number of cardiac arrest cases outside of the hospital also saw a significant increase. Many who contracted COVID-19 and experienced cardiac arrest at home passed away before the ambulance arrived. Data provided by the Houston Fire Department, for example, showed just this. Forensic data confirm that the increase in such deaths is directly linked to SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Similar situations have also occurred in other countries and regions.

An Italian study published in The New England Journal of Medicine found that after the COVID-19 pandemic started in Europe in 2020, the number of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest cases increased significantly, by 58 percent compared to 2019. In addition, the number of COVID-19 infections was found to be directly positively correlated to the number of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest cases. Also, 77 percent of all patients who died from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest were suspected of or confirmed having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

A 2020 large-scale cohort study from Paris published in The Lancet Public Health showed that since March 2020, when the pandemic started spreading rapidly, the number people who died of an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in Paris had increased dramatically, essentially doubling the number before the pandemic (looking at the same weeks in 2019).

COVID-19 is widely regarded as a virus that affects the respiratory tract, so why have so many patients passed away due to heart disease? The reasons are as follows:

  • The SARS-COV-2 virus can directly damage cardiac cells, causing damage to cardiac vessels and carditis;
    The impact of lung infection on blood circulation burdens the heart;
  • The virus can cause an aggressive inflammatory response known as a “cytokine storm.” And inflammatory factors can severely impact the cardiovascular system and vital organs;
  • The pandemic has altered people’s lifestyles. Being forced to stay at home and the lack of exercise both could cause a decline in their general health, which made them more prone to heart disease.

An article published in the Indian Heart Journal listed several leading causes of sudden cardiac death due to COVID-19 infection. The leading causes were acute myocarditis and pericarditis; followed by acute coronary syndrome and hypoxia; there were also coagulopathy, systemic inflammatory responses, and arrhythmia.

Myocarditis and Pericarditis Cases Increased Significantly After Administration of COVID-19 Vaccines

In addition to COVID-19 infections, the administration of COVID-19 vaccines has also increased the risk of heart disease. A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) in August 2021, by using data collected from more than 40 American medical institutions, shows that the number of myocarditis and pericarditis cases increased sharply after around 2 million people received the COVID-19 vaccines in the United States.

The median onset of myocarditis is around 3.5 days after vaccination, and there is a strong correlation between the time of onset and the time of vaccination. Among the myocarditis patients, 80 percent developed the symptoms after the second dose, 75 percent were male, and their median age was 36 years old.

The median onset of pericarditis in patients is 20 days after receiving the COVID-19 vaccines; and in 60 percent of the cases, the onset of symptoms took place after the second dose. Among these patients, 73 percent were male, and their median age was 59 years old.

As a result, three countries in Europe suspended the use of the Moderna vaccines for young men at that time.

Is the Second Leading Cause of Death Possibly Related to the COVID-19 Pandemic?

The second leading cause of death during the first year of the pandemic was cancer. This, however, differs from heart disease, as the number of cancer patients did not have any abnormal fluctuations in terms of data trends during the pandemic.

Nevertheless, COVID-19 infections did have an impact on cancer patients during this time period.

This is because a COVID-19 infection can cause chronic inflammation, and the inflammatory factors can directly or indirectly inhibit the functions of immune cells. The spike proteins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus can also inhibit mitochondrial functions and suppress the cells’ DNA repair mechanisms. The aforementioned effects can all cause the degeneration of the immune cell functions, further aggravating the cancer patients’ conditions and causing their tumors to worsen and spread.

Also, the prolonged lockdowns during the pandemic could lead to or increase the levels of anxiety and depression, which could both inhibit the immune cells’ ability to surveil and suppress tumors.

In addition, since hospitalization rates rose sharply due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many cancer screening, surgery, and chemotherapy appointments have been postponed. A review in The Lancet Public Health comprehensively discussed the consequences of postponing cancer-related appointments. Early screening and diagnosis of cancers (such as colon, breast, prostate, and cervical cancers, as well as melanoma) have a large impact on patient survival. For instance, for each 4-week delay in treatment for colon cancer, the risk of death increases by 6 percent; while a similar delay in adjuvant chemotherapy for colorectal cancer increases the risk of death by 13 percent.

As of May 9, 2021, Australia had attributed the deaths of 7,509 cancer patients to the pandemic.

A Way to Reduce Mortality Rates of Heart Disease and Cancer

How can one reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer?

Since the onset of the pandemic, people have been under a lot of pressure, stress, and anxiety, which affects their immunity. Furthermore, being prone to anxiety puts one at further risk for heart disease.

In the movie Kung Fu Panda, the term “inner peace” is repeatedly mentioned. Recently, more and more studies have found that “inner peace” is closely related to one’s health.

In 2016, researchers from the University of Connecticut and University of Oregon jointly published a study in the journal Health Psychology to explore the association between a state of spiritual peace and the survival rate of patients with congestive heart failure (CHF).

Congestive heart failure is a very common chronic disease in the United States, affecting more than 5 million people. Factors such as smoking, poor diets, alcohol consumption, depression, and a lack of social support are all associated with the increased risk of death in patients with congestive heart failure.

The study followed 191 patients with congestive heart failure for five years. One of the items assessed the subjects’ state of spiritual peace and harmony, asking them to rate their own state and frequency of spiritual peace from “never or almost never to some days” to “most days or many times a day.”

The results showed that a state of spiritual peace could be an important predictor of mortality. During the five-year follow up, people who felt peace of mind regularly had a very low or close to zero risk of death, while those who experienced little or no peace of mind had a 25 percent mortality rate.

Even after taking other factors into consideration, spiritual peace still played a role in reducing mortality rate.

A state of spiritual peace also has a positive effect on cancer patients. Another study has discovered that life meaning and peace was negatively associated with anxiety, and positively associated with physical well-being.  For cancer survivors that suffer from a high level of anxiety, their physical health would improve significantly when they had a higher level of inner peace and meaning of life.

However, for people who don’t feel anxious, their health is usually already much better than people who suffer from anxiety. Therefore, after becoming even more calm, their physical condition doesn’t show any obvious changes.

A lot of people might ask, “How can I have spiritual peace?”

If we pay more attention to our spiritual pursuits, and less to our materialistic pursuits, and remind ourselves to remain calm when facing conflicts, then it will be easier for us to obtain inner peace. For materialistic people who can’t let go of their emotions and love to pick a fight in the face of conflicts, it will be quite difficult to reach inner peace.

There is another term to describe a state of spiritual peace, namely spirituality, and this is usually used to represent a divine feeling or a “holy” state of mind. In medical research, spirituality is more commonly used to describe inner peace and a feeling of meaningfulness in life. This is a state of mind that takes spiritual cultivation, and it requires continuous restraint and effort to achieve.

So our attitude decides our fate. Reducing the number of fights with others and achieving more inner peace, our hearts will be thankful to us, and we will be rewarded with a longer, healthier life.

Ex-FBI Official Could Testify on Claims Agency Inflated ‘Domestic Violent Extremism’ Numbers

By Katabella Roberts
August 11, 2022 Updated: August 11, 2022

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) is calling on former FBI Counterterrorism Division Assistant Director Jill Sanborn to testify regarding whistleblower claims that agents were pressured to reclassify cases as “domestic violent extremism” even if they did not meet the criteria.

In a letter to Sanborn on Aug. 10 the Republican lawmaker, who serves as the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, wrote that the whistleblower allegations that the FBI is pushing agents to inflate the numbers of domestic violent extremism cases are among many that he and other members of the committee are investigating that concern “the politicization of the FBI.”

Sanborn served as Counterterrorism Division assistant director at the law enforcement agency and then as executive assistant director at the National Security branch between January 2020 and April 2021, until she left the federal service.

According to Jordan, the whistleblower revealed that Sanborn was among officials in the FBI who allegedly led the pressure campaign on agents to reclassify cases as domestic violent extremism, or DVE.

“One whistleblower explained that because agents are not finding enough DVE cases, they are encouraged and incentivized to reclassify cases as DVE cases even though there is minimal, circumstantial evidence to support the reclassification,” Jordan wrote.

“Another whistleblower stated that a field office Counterterrorism Assistant Special Agent in Charge and the FBI’s then Assistant Director of the Counterterrorism Division pressured agents to move cases into the DVE category to hit self-created performance metrics. This whistleblower identified you as one official who exerted pressure on agents to reclassify cases as DVE matters.”

‘Padding Domestic Terrorism Data Is Scandalous’

“Your testimony is necessary to advance our oversight, we, therefore, ask that you contact the Committee to schedule a transcribed interview as soon as possible but no later than 5.00 p.m. on August 24, 2022,” he wrote in the letter, which was also signed by Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.).

The Epoch Times has contacted the FBI for comment.

Jordan first revealed the whistleblower allegations in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray on July 27 (pdf).

“Given the narrative pushed by the Biden Administration that domestic violent extremism is the ‘greatest threat’ facing our country, the revelation that the FBI may be artificially padding domestic terrorism data is scandalous,” the lawmaker wrote in his letter to Wray.

According to the FBI, domestic violent extremist is defined as “an individual based and operating primarily within the United States or its territories without direction or inspiration from a foreign terrorist group or other foreign power who seeks to further political or social goals wholly or in part through unlawful acts of force or violence.”

The Biden administration has said that domestic terrorism is the most urgent threat currently facing the United States.

Following the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol, the creation of a new unit in the Justice Department to counter domestic terrorism was announced. At the time, officials said that the number of FBI investigations of suspected violent extremists had more than doubled since the spring of 2020.

However, Jordan is among a number of Republican lawmakers who have expressed concerns that both the Justice Department and FBI have become politicized.

The lawmakers’ letter to Sanborn comes shortly after the Florida Mar-a-Lago home of former President Donald Trump was raided by FBI agents, prompting Republican leaders to condemn the move and accuse the Biden administration again of weaponizing the Justice Department for political purposes.
