‘Game-changer for autism’: 100-year-old drug reverses symptoms, study finds

A drug discovered more than 100 years ago may hold the key to combating autism symptoms, according to a study.

Researcher Dr Robert Naviaux of the San Diego School of Medicine gave suramin, a drug first developed in 1916, to 10 autistic boys between the ages of five and 14, and noted transformative results.

“After the single dose, it was almost like a roadblock had been released,” he said“If the future studies show that there’s continued health benefits, this could be a game-changer for families with autism.”

The study, which has been published in the Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, saw five of the participants receive suramin, while the remainder were given placebos. Included in the group were four non-verbal children – two six year olds and two 14 year olds.

“The six year old and the 14 year old who received suramin said the first sentences of their lives about one week after the single suramin infusion,” Naviaux told the UC San Diego Health website“This did not happen in any of the children given the placebo.”

Research has shown that cells harden their membranes in response to attacks from viruses or pollutants. The reaction, known as ‘cellular danger response’ (CDR), is a common defense mechanism that allows cells to wait for danger to pass. Autism is thought to develop during early childhood when cells can become ‘stuck’ in this mode.

One parent, whose son had not spoken a full sentence in more than a decade, said: “Within an hour after the infusion, he started to make more eye contact with the doctor and nurses in the room. There was a new calmness at times, but also more emotion at other times.”

“He started to show an interest in playing hide-and-seek with his 16-year-old brother. He started practicing making new sounds around the house. He started seeking out his dad more.”

First tested on mice in 2013, this is the first time suramin has been administered to children.

For Naviaux, the challenge now is to widen his research to a bigger sample testing size. “This work is new and this type of clinical trial is expensive,” he said. “We did not have enough funding to do a larger study. And even with the funding we were able to raise, we had to go $500,000 in debt to complete the trial.”  https://www.rt.com/usa/390222-autism-research-suramin-symptoms/

EXCLUSIVE: FDA Withholding Autopsy Results on People Who Died After Getting COVID-19 Vaccines

By Zachary Stieber
September 29, 2022 Updated: September 29, 2022
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is refusing to release the results of autopsies conducted on people who died after getting COVID-19 vaccines.

The FDA says it is barred from releasing medical files, but a drug safety advocate says that it could release the autopsies with personal information redacted.

The refusal was issued to The Epoch Times, which submitted a Freedom of Information Act for all autopsy reported obtained by the FDA concerning any deaths reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System following COVID-19 vaccination.

Reports are lodged with the system when a person experiences an adverse event, or a health issue, after receiving a vaccine. The FDA and other agencies are tasked with investigating the reports. Authorities request and review medical records to vet the reports, including autopsies.

The FDA declined to release any reports, even redacted copies.

The FDA cited federal law, which enables agencies to withhold information if the agency “reasonably foresees that disclosure would harm an interest protected by an exemption,” with the exemption being “personnel and medical files and similar files the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”

Federal regulations also bar the release of “personnel, medical and similar files the disclosure of which constitutes a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”

The Epoch Times has appealed the denial, in addition to the recent denial of results of data analysis of VAERS reports.

‘Easily Be Redacted’

Kim Witczak, a drug safety advocate who advises the FDA as part of the Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee, said that the reports could be released with personal information blacked out.

“The personal information could easily be redacted without losing the potential learnings from [the] autopsy,” Witczak told The Epoch Times via email.

People make the choice to submit autopsy results to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, Witczak noted.

“If someone submits their experience to VAERS they want and expect to have it investigated by the FDA. This includes autopsy reports,” she said.

Autopsies are examinations of deceased persons performed to determine the cause of death.

“Autopsies can be an important part of postmortem analysis and should be done especially with increased deaths following COVID-19 vaccination,” Witczak said.

FDA Responds

An FDA spokesperson noted that deaths following COVID-19 vaccination are rare, citing the number of reports made to VAERS.

As of Sept. 14, 16,516 reports of death following COVID-19 vaccination have been reported. Approximately 616 million doses have been administered in the United States through September.

The spokesperson declined to say whether the FDA would ever release the autopsy results, but pointed to a paper authored by researchers with the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The paper, which has not been peer reviewed, analyzed the approximately 9,800 reports of death to VAERS following COVID-19 vaccination lodged from Dec. 14, 2020, to Nov. 17, 2021. Researchers found that reporting rates were lower than the expected all-cause mortality rates.

“Trends in reporting rates reflected known trends in background mortality rates. These findings do not suggest an association between vaccination and overall increased mortality,” the researchers wrote.

The researchers noted that prior studies have found that adverse events reported to VAERS are an undercount of the true number of events.

Crowd Protests Disney’s ‘Woke’ Agenda

By Jill McLaughlin
April 7, 2022 Updated: April 7, 2022

BURBANK, Calif.—“Go woke, go broke” was a central message from protesters who gathered outside The Walt Disney Company’s Burbank headquarters on April 6.

Some 150 people attended the rally in opposition to the family entertainment company’s stance against a recently passed Florida law that prohibits schools from teaching their youngest students about sexual orientation and gender identity.

Carrying a tall pole adorned with the American flag, political organizer Charles DiMauro, of Santa Barbara, drove hours to attend the protest. He said he didn’t agree with the company’s decision to strip its parks of gender identification.

“I really hope they’ll be able to go and see what we’re doing today, and what we’re going to continue doing, and that they’re going to change their ways and not be ‘woke,’” DiMauro told The Epoch Times.

In 2021, we had the most reports EVER of suspected CSAM (“CP”) to The National Center For Missing & Exploited Children. That number was 29.3 MILLION! Yet, media propagandists like Mike Rothschild spend a lot of time trying to convince you that it isn’t a problem. Why?

A: You know what they say about those who ardently defend against claims of rampant disneyphilia

Florida passed a parental rights law in March that prohibits public school teachers from teaching lessons on sexual orientation or gender identity for children in kindergarten through third grade, or any instruction that is not “age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate.”

Ohio and Texas are considering similar legislation.

Disney took a stand against the passage of the Florida legislation on March 28 after company employees staged a walk-out protest against the bill at its Florida resort.

“Florida’s HB 1557, also known as the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, should never have passed and should never have been signed into law,” according to a statement issued by a Disney spokesperson. “Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national and state organizations working to achieve that.”

The company aimed to stand up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country, according to the spokesperson.

The crowd grew steadily as the rally developed outside of Disney’s Studio Lot on Alameda Avenue.

A handful of Disney employees watched as parents, children, and others held signs and chanted “Boycott Disney” and “USA!”

Two men used bull horns to shout at employees and security guards through a black wrought-iron entrance gate.

“It’s absolutely a necessary event,” Rob McCoy, the former mayor of Thousand Oaks and pastor at Godspeak Calvary Chapel, told The Epoch Times.

Many were raised on Disney films but now the iconic family entertainment company has been taken over by a “woke” agenda, McCoy said, using the term first coined by progressive liberal activists.

“This is a government of the people, by the people and for the people,” McCoy said. “If they want to try to infuse this, they’re a company that has a bottom line. You go ‘woke,’ you go broke,” he said.

Epoch Times Photo

The group said they plan to continue protesting Disney and any elected official who supports extending the company’s copyright license for its mascot character Mickey Mouse, which is up for renewal by Congress, McCoy said.

Mickey Mouse was first copyrighted in 1928 and is set to expire and enter the public domain in two years.

The crowd prayed as speakers read Bible verses and spoke about fighting for the country.

“There’s no middle ground anymore,” one told the cheering crowd. “You’re either for us or against us.”

Steve West, from Moorpark, said he attended because he wanted to be a part of the change.

“It’s not enough to say you know something’s wrong and things aren’t how they should be,” West said. “You’ve got to put some skin in the game if you want to make a change. This is amazing.”

Matt Burr, of Victorville, said he drove about 90 minutes to support the cause.

“I don’t mind driving to things,” Burr said. “This kind of was bugging me. I looked into it a little bit.”

Kennedy Lindsey, from Los Angeles, said she believes children shouldn’t be sexualized.

“They’re children and they should be able to have their childhood and their innocence,” Lindsey said.

Epoch Times Photo

Anna Vina, of Santa Paula, said it was not Disney’s place to sexualize children.

“I don’t agree with what they’re doing,” Vina said. “Kids need to be kids.”

Rocco Romano, of nearby Glendale, told The Epoch Times it was nice to see such a large number of people turn out in Burbank.

“It’s the capital of entertainment on the West Coast,” Romano said. “It’s encouraging to see people standing up for family values. … It’s encouraging to see people standing up for the country.”

Marci Donovan, of Rosemead, participated because she thought it was important.

“I think everybody is making this about ‘left’ and ‘right’ and it really isn’t about that,” Donovan told The Epoch Times. “It’s about the ‘woke’ theology that’s being indoctrinated into corporations and into children. I feel like children are so susceptible and vulnerable. It really upsets me that they’re trying to fight [Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis] on a bill that makes complete sense. Even some Democrats I’ve spoken to say the bill is logical.”

About 150 people gathered on both sides of the busy street, according to an estimate by a Burbank Police officer who watched the protest from a patrol car across the street.

Additional motorcycle officers patrolled the area but no incidents were reported.

Protesting at that location was allowed, but the live music, speakers and bull horns that could be heard in the nearby residential neighborhood might have crossed the line, the officer told The Epoch Times. However, police were giving the group some leeway, the officer said.

The department had not received complaints about the nearly two-hour protest that started at 6 p.m., the officer said.

A request for comment from Disney was not received by press time.

Dying COVID-19 Patient Recovers After Court Orders Hospital to Administer Ivermectin

By Matthew Vadum
December 1, 2021 Updated: December 3, 2021

An elderly COVID-19 patient has recovered after a court order allowed him to be treated with ivermectin, despite objections from the hospital in which he was staying, according to the family’s attorney.

After an Illinois hospital insisted on administering expensive remdesivir to the patient and the treatment failed, his life was saved after a court ordered that an outside medical doctor be allowed to use the inexpensive ivermectin to treat him, over the hospital’s strenuous objections.

Ivermectin tablets have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat humans with intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis, two conditions caused by parasitic worms. Some topical forms of ivermectin have been approved to treat external parasites such as head lice and for skin conditions such as rosacea. The drug is also approved for use on animals.

Remdesivir has been given emergency use authorization by the FDA for treating certain categories of human patients that have been hospitalized with COVID-19. But the use of ivermectin to treat humans suffering from COVID-19 has become controversial because the FDA hasn’t approved its so-called off-label use to treat the disease, which is caused by the CCP virus also known as SARS-CoV-2.

Critics have long accused the FDA of dragging its heels and being dangerously over-cautious and indifferent to human suffering in its approach to regulating pharmaceuticals, a criticism that led to then-President Donald Trump signing the Right to Try Act in May 2018. The law, according to the FDA, “is another way for patients who have been diagnosed with life-threatening diseases or conditions who have tried all approved treatment options and who are unable to participate in a clinical trial to access certain unapproved treatments.”

Medical doctors are free to prescribe ivermectin to treat COVID-19, even though the FDA claims that its off-label use could be harmful in some circumstances. Clinical human trials of the drug for use against COVID-19 are currently in progress, according to the agency.

The drug “most definitely” saved the elderly patient’s life “because his condition changed right immediately after he took ivermectin,” attorney for the family, Kirstin M. Erickson of Chicago-based Mauck and Baker, told The Epoch Times.

Sun Ng, 71, who was visiting the United States from Hong Kong to celebrate his granddaughter’s first birthday, became ill with COVID-19 and within days was close to death. He was hospitalized on Oct. 14 at Edward Hospital, in Naperville, Illinois, a part of the Edward-Elmhurst Health system. His condition worsened dramatically and he was intubated and placed on a ventilator a few days later.

Ng’s only child, Man Kwan Ng, who holds a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering, did her own research and decided that her father should take ivermectin, which some medical doctors believe is effective against COVID-19, despite the FDA’s guidance to the contrary.

But against the daughter’s wishes, the hospital refused to administer ivermectin and denied access to a physician willing to administer it.

The daughter went to court on her father’s behalf and on Nov. 1, Judge Paul M. Fullerton of the Circuit Court of DuPage County granted a temporary restraining order requiring the hospital to allow ivermectin to be given to the patient. The hospital refused to comply with the court order.

At a subsequent court hearing on Nov. 5, Fullerton said one physician who testified described Sun Ng as “basically on his death bed,” with a mere 10 to 15 percent chance of survival. Ivermectin can have minor side effects such as dizziness, itchy skin, and diarrhea at the dosage suggested for Ng, but the “risks of these side effects are so minimal that Mr. Ng’s current situation outweighs that risk by one-hundredfold,” Fullerton said.

The judge issued a preliminary injunction that day directing the hospital to “immediately allow … temporary emergency privileges” to Ng’s physician, Dr. Alan Bain, “solely to administer Ivermectin to this patient.”

The hospital resisted the order on Nov. 6 and 7, denying Bain access to his patient. The hospital claimed that it couldn’t let Bain in because he wasn’t vaccinated against COVID-19 and that its chief medical officer wasn’t available to “proctor” Bain administering ivermectin.

The daughter’s attorneys filed an emergency report with the court on Nov. 8 and Fullerton heard from both sides. The judge admonished the hospital and restated that it must allow Bain inside over a period of 15 days to do his job. When the hospital filed a motion to stay the order, Fullerton denied it, again directing the facility to comply.

The ivermectin appears to have worked, and Sun Ng has recovered from COVID-19. He was discharged by the hospital on Nov. 27.

“My father’s recovery is amazing,” his daughter, Man Kwan Ng, said in a statement.

“My father is a tough man. He was working so hard to survive, and of course, with God’s holding hands. He weaned off oxygen about three days after moving out of the ICU. He started oral feeding before hospital discharge. He returned home without carrying a bottle of oxygen and a feeding tube installed to his stomach. He can now stand with a walker at the bedside and practice stepping. After being sedated for a month on a ventilator in ICU, his performance is beyond our expectations. Praise the Lord.”

Attorney Erickson said the “happy” end result here provides “hope for the nation.”

“We get calls from all over the place,” she told The Epoch Times. “People that want to sue hospitals after someone’s passed, they wanted to get the medicine and couldn’t. Obviously, that’s a different, difficult case because a medical malpractice case is very difficult.”

People just want to do what’s best for their family members and “find ivermectin themselves” and have it on hand “and use it when someone starts to develop symptoms,” Erickson said.

She said her legal team and client were “really thankful” that Ng recovered and “we salute” Judge Fullerton, Dr. Bain, and others, as well as the hospital for abiding by the court order in the end.

For more information on ivermectin and how to obtain it, Erickson said people should visit the website of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance at Covid19CriticalCare.com.

Keith Hartenberger, system director for public relations for Edward-Elmhurst Health, declined to comment.

“We’re not able to comment due to patient privacy guidelines,” he told The Epoch Times by email.

Judge Blocks Biden Admin From Firing Unvaccinated Employees With Pending Religious Exemptions

October 29, 2021 Updated: October 29, 2021

A district court judge in Washington, D.C. issued a temporary injunction Thursday that bars both civilian and military plaintiffs from being fired after they filed a lawsuit against the White House’s vaccine mandate.

District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, an appointee of former President Bill Clinton, issued a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction prohibiting preventing the plaintiffs from being fired while their religious exemption requests to the COVID-19 vaccine are pending.

“None of the civilian employee plaintiffs will be subject to discipline while his or her request for a religious exception is pending,” Kollar-Kotelly wrote in an order, dated Thursday.

The judge also ruled that “active duty military plaintiffs, whose religious exception requests have been denied, will not be disciplined or separated during the pendency of their appeals,” noting that the federal government has provided “no guarantee of what will happen … if their exemption requests are denied.”

Defendants named in the lawsuit, including all Biden administration executive branch secretaries, have to issue supplemental memos by Friday that say they will not terminate or penalize staff while religious exemptions are being heard, Kollar-Kotelly also ruled.

President Joe Biden and members of his administration were sued by 20 plaintiffs last month over his Sept. 9 executive order requiring vaccines for all federal employees and contractors, reported Fox News.

In their complaint, the plaintiffs wrote that “plaintiffs along with hundreds of thousands of other federal employees and active-duty service members will be terminated, discharged or separated on or before November 22, 2021.”

“The Biden administration has shown an unprecedented, cavalier attitude toward the rule of law and an utter ineptitude at basic constitutional contours,” the plaintiffs’ attorney Michael Yoder told the network after Kollar-Kotelly’s ruling.

Describing this mandate as “dangerous to American liberty,” Yoder said that “our Constitution protects and secures the right to remain free from religious persecution and coercion.”

Similarly, he praised Kollar-Kotelly’s ruling and said that “we are one step closer to putting the Biden administration back in its place by limiting government to its enumerated powers. It’s time citizens and courts said no to tyranny. The Constitution does not need to be rewritten, it needs to be reread.”

Biden’s announcement on vaccine mandates across different sectors of society drew significant criticism, leading to lawsuits from several states over the requirements.

Ahead of the mandate’s deadline, several trade associations—including cargo carriers and truckers groups—issued warnings to the Biden administration that vaccine mandates would snarl supply chain bottlenecks and trigger chaos nationwide.

The Washington court order came as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, announced that his state filed a lawsuit against the White House over its vaccine mandate for federal contractors.

The Epoch Times has contacted the White House press office for comment.

Time to Stand Up and Demand Responsibility

As a former Marine, there is nothing more serious to our nation than silencing  free speech. Lt. Col Stuart Scheller is a hero in my eyes for standing up and asking for accountability from the senior leadership after the messy U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.   Lt. Col Scheller had only three years to serve in order to draw a retirement from the military but choose to stand up and say what he believed was the best for his country.  I salute and support  Lt. Col. Scheller for his bravery and ask all Americans to do the same. Semper Fi,  always faithful.    See the source image

Lt. Col. Who Spoke Out on Afghanistan ‘Risking His Livelihood’ for Americans: Parents

October 2, 2021 Updated: October 2, 2021

The U.S. Marine who called for accountability after the messy U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan is risking a lot for fellow Americans, his parents say.

“He is an American war hero. He has fought for his men and women that follow him. He’s fought on the battlefield for them. I believe he has risked his life for his fellow service people and Americans. He is now risking his livelihood for them. He saw a misjustice happening at the top and he felt that they should be held accountable for it,” Cathy Scheller, Stuart Scheller’s mother, said on NTD’s “The Nation Speaks.”

Stuart Scheller’s father, Stu Scheller Sr., said support from fellow Americans will greatly help his son.

The Marine Corps will “win the battle,” he said. “But America is going to help Stuart win the war.”

Stuart Scheller was dismissed from command after publishing a series of videos calling for U.S. military leaders to step up and own the “obvious mistakes that were made” during the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The United States left over 100 Americans behind in the Middle Eastern country after completing the withdrawal on Aug. 30. Additionally, 13 U.S. service members were killed in a suicide bombing attack on the Kabul airport, which troops were holding for approximately two weeks to facilitate evacuations after the Taliban routed the U.S.-backed Afghan forces.

Military leaders have said they were shocked by how quickly the Taliban captured the country and were caught off guard.

But none have so far resigned and they have by and large painted the evacuation effort as a success, pointing to the over 120,000 people, primarily Afghan nationals, that the United States evacuated or facilitated the evacuation of before pulling out.

Stuart Scheller said he wanted senior leaders to admit mistakes were made. After being removed from command over his videos, he resigned in late August. He was thrown in the brig recently and remains there at this time. A hearing is scheduled for Oct. 5.

Stuart Scheller is suspected of violating four articles outlined in the Uniform Code of Military Justice, including Article 88, which prohibits the use of “contemptuous words” toward superiors, a Marine spokesperson told Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas).

Stuart Scheller’s parents are advocating for his release and helping raise funds for his defense. They and the Pipe Hitter Foundation have raised over $2 million so far.

“I do know that he broke rank and I know that he knows that there are consequences for that. But he didn’t hurt anyone. He didn’t do any violent crimes. He spoke up on Facebook. And yes, there is a chain of command and there should be punishment for that,” Cathy Scheller said on NTD.

“But that chain of command that we saw broken, we also just saw broken on the Senate floor. That chain of command was broken. Our son has been given a gag order and thrown in prison and strip searched and thrown in isolation and is facing prison for breaking his chain of command. I’m fine if that’s the exact punishment that is taken out all the way across the board for anyone who breaks command,” she added.

Scheller Sr. said that the congressional hearings this week, which saw Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and Gen. Kenneth McKenzie questioned sharply by members of Congress and appearing to lie about at least one matter, made evident that senior military leaders “are not accepting responsibility or accountability for their failures.”

Milley was asked by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) whether he would resign when informed military leaders had urged President Joe Biden to keep troops in Afghanistan but Biden chose to complete the withdrawal anyways.

“It would be an incredible act of political defiance for a commissioned officer to just resign because my advice wasn’t taken. This country doesn’t want generals figuring what orders we’re going to accept and do or not,” Milley said.

Milley later called the end of the war a “strategic failure” while Austin defended the evacuation effort, noting that it moved many people out of the country.

“Was it perfect? Of course not,” he said.

$2.2 Million Raised for Marine in Military Detainment After Criticizing Afghan Chaos

By Jack Phillips
October 3, 2021 Updated: October 3, 2021

Some $2 million has been raised for a Marine who was put in the brig for speaking out against the U.S. military’s leadership amid the chaotic Afghanistan evacuation.

More than $2.2 million was raised for Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller after more than 29,000 donors contributed. Scheller is awaiting a hearing over viral videos in which he called for accountability from top leaders in the military and the Department of Defense.

He was placed in confinement at the Regional Brig for Marine Corps Installations East at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, officials said. About a week ago, the Marine Corps confirmed his detainment, although it’s not clear when his Article 32 hearing will take place.

“The time, date, and location of the proceedings have not been determined,” Marine Corps Training and Education Command spokesman Capt. Sam Stephenson told Task & Purpose. “Lt. Col. Scheller will be afforded all due process.”

In August, Scheller gained viral fame after posting a video on social media alleging that top military brass were not taking responsibility for how the military withdrawal from Afghanistan was handled, including the ISIS terrorist attack that left 13 service members dead in Kabul.

“The reason people are so upset on social media right now is not because the Marine on the battlefield let someone down,” Scheller said in a video posted several weeks ago. “People are upset because their senior leaders let them down. And none of them are raising their hands and accepting accountability or saying, ‘We messed up.’”

After releasing several videos, Scheller was reportedly told by his superiors to stop posting on social media entirely. He appeared to ignore that alleged directive by writing about the gag order in his most recent social media post.

In one post, he announced that he was relieved from his position as the battalion commander for the Advanced Infantry Training Battalion at School of Infantry East at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. In another post, Scheller suggested in a post that he could be be taken to the brig.

“What happens when all you do is speak truth and no one wants to hear it. But they can probably stop listening because… I’m crazy… right?” Scheller wrote in another post. “Col Emmel please have the [military police] waiting for me at 0800 on Monday. I’m ready for jail.”

Scheller’s father, Stu Scheller, told the same publication that he believes the military is treating his son unfairly, also confirming that he was taken to lockup pending a hearing.

“All our son did is ask the questions that everybody was asking themselves, but they were too scared to speak out loud,” he told Task & Purpose. “He was asking for accountability. In fact, I think he even asked for an apology that we made mistakes, but they couldn’t do that, which is mind-blowing.”

The elder Scheller said that his son was merely asking for accountability from top military leaders over the withdrawal.

The Epoch Times has contacted the Department of Defense for comment.

MIND & BODY How I Reversed an Autoimmune Disease (Part 1)

How I Reversed an Autoimmune Disease (Part 1)

From crippling illness to complete recovery with a change in thought that changed my life
September 7, 2021 Updated: September 7, 2021

Today I live a healthy, happy life. I run a business, homeschool my three children, and hike with my dogs on the weekends. You’d never know that six years ago I nearly died from an advanced stage of an autoimmune disease.

In 2015, while still in my 30s, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. It was accompanied by muscle wasting, arsenic poisoning, leaky gut, and deficiencies in 15 nutrients. I took a vitamin and mineral supplement every day, yet the nutrient deficiencies were so severe, I was borderline for pellagra and beriberi. Both of those diseases can lead to death, and both were eradicated in the United States by the mid-1900s.

My illness didn’t happen overnight. It had been brewing my entire life, since I was in the womb. But the obvious symptoms began in my early 20s with gastrointestinal (GI) issues. Within 20 minutes of eating, I often looked like I was five months pregnant! There seemed to be no rhyme or reason. One day I could eat pizza from my favorite restaurant and feel fine. The next week, I ordered the same pizza from the same restaurant and I would become bloated and crippled over from the pain.

I initially sought help from a Western medical doctor who diagnosed me with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and prescribed Tagamet. I was only 20 years old and wasn’t willing to become dependent on a prescription drug, especially since I knew it wouldn’t address the root cause; it would only mask the symptoms.

Consequently, I got a second opinion, and a third, and a fourth. Eventually, I saw so many doctors and had so many tests conducted that I lost count. I had three colonoscopies, two sigmoidoscopies, breath tests, urine tests, fecal tests, blood tests, and even exploratory surgery. Nobody had any answers.

Meanwhile, my symptoms continued to increase in both number and severity, to include:

  • Nausea
  • Brain fog
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Chronic sinus infections
  • Susceptibility to and delayed recovery from colds and influenza
  • Kidney stones
  • Tumor
  • Hair loss
  • Multiple food sensitivities
  • 5 miscarriages

In total, I sought medical advice from Western doctors for 20 years. Nobody knew what was wrong. I knew it was related to diet, but the medical doctors didn’t believe me. In fact, the last specialist told me the symptoms were in my head. That’s when I knew that if I had any chance of healing, I had to find a different path.

Consequently, my husband and I became co-detectives.  After scouring the scientific literature, we theorized I had “leaky gut,” which was triggered by gluten and man-made chemicals such as GMOs, pesticides, and herbicides. Consequently, I switched to an all organic, “gluten-free” diet.

Additionally, in an attempt to heal the gastrointestinal damage caused by those chemicals, I tried many dietary protocols, including: gut and psychology syndrome (GAPS), paleo, and the candida diet. With each dietary protocol, I initially felt better but, shortly after, I felt worse. In fact, as I continued to grow sicker, my food sensitivities increased. Eventually, the list of foods I could eat dwindled down to a half a sheet of paper. Foods we think of as healthy, like apples and bananas, made me sick.

At this point in my healing journey, I was cooking everything from scratch, eating everything organic, and I never went out to eat. Regardless, a new symptom appeared: low-grade muscle pain. It migrated throughout my body with no obvious rhyme or reason and was accompanied by extreme fatigue. Shortly after, I reached a tipping point. In 2015, my entire family got the flu. They recovered within two days, but I ended up in the emergency room. I quickly spiraled downhill from there.

At my rock bottom, most of my time was spent lying on the floor in pain. I was too weak to walk up the stairs without getting winded and too tired to stand long enough to finish doing the dishes after lunch. Some days my body hurt so badly that I couldn’t wrap my hand around a cup to take a drink of water. Soon it became difficult to breathe; with every breath my ribs felt like they might break. When I chewed food, my teeth hurt as if they might fall out. Additionally, I had begun the process of muscle wasting, like a cancer patient can experience. I lost 15 pounds in one month even though I was eating almost constantly.

For the first time in almost 20 years, I was scared. My husband and I knew that if we didn’t do something drastic, I wouldn’t be alive to see my kids grow up and graduate from high school or get married. So, I surrendered to God, who showed me a different path.

Today, nearly six years later, I’m still disease free and have no pain. In fact, 11 months ago, at the age of 45, I gave birth to a healthy 9-pound baby girl! So, how did I go from lying on the floor in debilitating pain to having more energy than ever before in my life?

I took full responsibility for my health, which created empowerment. I realized that if I got myself sick with my choices, I could also heal myself with my choices.

Consequently, I began studying how to reverse disease. I started with our food supply. Instead of blindly trusting the food in our grocery stores, restaurants, and fast-food chains, I investigated what’s really in the food and how it got there. What I learned had such a profound impact on my health that I published a book about findings (Hands Off My Food) for the world to see.

I also listened to hundreds of hours of cutting-edge health summits that were pushing the boundaries of our understanding of disease. Eventually, I saw a pattern; the practitioners who were successful in helping their patients achieve “remission” were using many of the same basic steps.

I combined all of those steps in a more doable, practical manner to create my own disease-reversal protocol. Essentially, I created a Healing Road Map that consists of four destinations:

Remove

You must remove the physical triggers that are creating imbalances in your body. There are many possible physical triggers and everyone has their unique set. For instance, I removed the most common food triggers from my diet, including: grains, dairy, and sugar. I was also sensitive to chicken and bay leaf.

In addition, I addressed environmental triggers that were making me sick, such as man-made electromagnetic fields and toxic chemicals lurking in personal care products and cleaning supplies. I also rid my body of excess heavy metals.

Replenish

You must replenish any micronutrient imbalances, as well as imbalances in your microbiome. Building a robust microbiome is essential for complete healing. I built my microbiome using many different strategies, such as not eating sterilized foods (most food in the grocery store is sterilized in some manner), and eating a daily helping of fermented foods, prebiotics, and spices.

I also replenished my mind and body in others, like taking deep breaths throughout the day and spending time in nature.

Repair

You must repair any damage that exists in the gastrointestinal tract and other tissues. Fortunately, repair occurs naturally when you create a healing environment. That means reducing stress, removing physical triggers, and correcting nutrient imbalances.

Restore

You must restore your physicality by incorporating movement into your daily routine that is appropriate for your current level of fitness. In addition, when chronically sick, it’s common to lose trust in your body. However, it’s critical to restore that relationship so you can begin listening to your body and working with it, as opposed to working against it.

I tested this disease-reversal protocol on myself, and it worked. With help from God, I was able to reverse the disease without the use of medications. In fact, my healing was rapid. I got off the floor in three days. Within three months, nearly all of the pain was gone. And, within one year, there was no pain and no sign of disease in my body. The autoimmune disease had disappeared and Western medical doctors declared me to be in “remission.”

But that’s not the end of the story. Next week I will share how I moved past “remission” and achieved complete healing.

‘There Was in Fact Fraud That Took Place’: FEC Chairman Trey Trainor

The Epoch Times

November 21, 2020 Updated: November 22, 2020

Federal Election Commission (FEC) Chairman Trey Trainor said that affidavits from the Trump campaign show that fraud has occurred during the November general election.

“The massive amounts of affidavits that we see in these cases show that there was in fact fraud that took place,” he said during an interview with “Just the News AM” on Friday.

He said it’s important to have transparency surrounding the election process and that answering questions raised by the Trump campaign over election integrity is “very important for the legitimacy of the presidency.”

In response to a question from reporter Carrie Sheffield, Trainor specifically mentioned a sworn affidavit by Steven Miller, a professor of mathematics at Williams College.

Miller—who specializes in analytic number theory and sabermetrics—flagged nearly 100,000 ballots in Pennsylvania for potential voter fraud after analyzing election data and phone interviews.

Between 89,397 to 98,801 ballots were either requested by someone other than the registered Republican, or requested and returned but not counted, he said.

Trainor said that Miller is clearly qualified as an expert witness in almost any court in the United States and that the court would have to look at the information he has provided.

Democratic nominee Joe Biden didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from The Epoch Times.

Trump Team Showcases Evidence Amid Legal Battle

Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, two leading attorneys for the Trump campaign’s legal battle over the process of the November election, outlined their evidence of alleged election fraud and abnormalities during a press conference on Thursday.

During the presser, which Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis described as an “opening statement,” the Trump legal team said there are a great number of affidavits in support of their allegations.

“We have, in the Michigan case, 220 affidavits. They are not all public, but eight of them are,” Giuliani said.

The Epoch Times can’t verify those affidavits independently.

Various governmental officials at state and local levels have confirmed reports of voter fraud, including that of Republican poll watchers being blocked from poll sites, votes being cast in the name of dead persons, and election rules being changed by judges or officials bypassing the state legislature institutions, among others.

According to federal law, a person who knowingly makes a false statement in a sworn affidavit could be charged with perjury, to face up to five years in prison and/or fines.

It’s unclear how many affidavits the Trump team will present to the court, as most of the sworn affidavits have yet to be made public.

According to Powell’s remarks during an interview with Fox Business on Friday, there’re at least two areas that the Trump legal team is working on.

“I’m focusing more on the technology and the fraud, and he [Giuliani] is working [on] the individual witnesses, on that side of things,” she said.
