Russian President Vladimir Putin has greenlighted ruble gas payments for buyers from countries which placed sanctions on Russia in connection with Ukraine.
Putin signed a decree on Thursday demanding that these buyers open accounts in Russian banks to facilitate the payments.

A Chinese state-run oil and gas company linked to the son of the President of the United States, Hunter Biden, hit record levels of production amidst President Biden’s decision to halt the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline.
Sinopec, also known as China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, is a Chinese Communist regime-controlled oil and gas enterprise. Its “fully-owned subsidiary” Sinopec Marketing Company enjoyed nearly $1 billion in investment from Hunter Biden’s private equity firm BHR Partners.
Finalized in March 2015, the investments from the controversial investment fund led to BHR Partners amassing a nearly 30 percent stake in Sinopec.

Sinopec’s record-breaking success follows the Biden regime’s assault on American energy independence, including the cancellation of the critical Keystone XL Pipeline and shutting down oil and gas lease sales from federal land in his first days in office.

Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop has reared its ugly head again, as it reportedly contains emails that appear to back up Russian claims that the US president’s son was involved in financing military research into dangerous pathogens at biolabs in Ukraine.
Biden helped arrange millions of dollars in financing for Metabiota, a Pentagon contractor that specialized in researching pandemic-causing pathogens that could be used as bioweapons, the UK’s Daily Mail outlined on Friday, citing newly obtained emails and letters from the computer. The president’s son and his partners in a firm called Rosemont Seneca also invested $500,000 in the contractor.
At least one of the documents suggested that Metabiota’s interest in Ukraine went beyond research and money-making. An executive with the contractor, Mary Guttieri, explained in an April 2014 memo to Hunter Biden of “how we can potentially leverage our team, networks and concepts to assert Ukraine’s cultural and economic independence from Russia and continued integration into Western society.”
Another memo showed that Biden had pitched a “science project” involving Metabiota and Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas company where Biden made millions of dollars as a board member. His pay was cut by half after his father’s stint as US vice president ended in January 2017.
The revelations come one day after Russian military officials alleged that US agencies and high-level Democrats, including Hunter Biden, have been involved in backing bioweapons research in Ukraine. The officials cited documents that had been seized by Russian soldiers in the former Soviet republic.
However, some Western media outlets dismissed the claims as Russian propaganda meant to justify Moscow’s military attack on Ukraine. In many cases, the allegations were brushed off or ridiculed without even taking them seriously enough to include a US government response. For instance, the Daily Beast declared in a headline, “Russia ramps up the crazy,” while state-funded NPR and other outlets referred to the accusations as “false” or “propaganda” without any apparent probing of the facts. Even the Daily Mail itself, before obtaining the latest Biden emails, said Russia had ramped up its “wild propaganda campaign” by making its bioweapons claims.
The reaction echoed the response in October 2020, when the New York Post broke a story alleging overseas influence-peddling by the Biden family, citing emails obtained from a laptop that Hunter had abandoned at a Delaware repair shop. Spreading the report was blocked on social media, where the Post was censored, and mainstream media outlets suggested that the scandal was the result of a Russian disinformation campaign.
Thus, the original scoop was essentially buried just weeks before Biden was elected president, in an extraordinary case of media bias. However, last week, the New York Times admitted that the laptop and its contents were authentic.
Government records show that Metabiota was awarded an $18.4 million contract by the Pentagon, the Daily Mail added. Emails showed that Hunter Biden claimed to be helping the contractor “get new customers,” including government agencies.

The revelations come as the New York Post this week released an expose detailing links between Joe Biden and his son who was paid at least $50,000 a month to sit on the board of a Ukrainian energy company who allegedly set up a meeting with the then-Vice President. Information regarding Hunter Biden’s relationship with the Ukranian energy company was sourced from a collection of emails recovered from a laptop that was allegedly dropped off at a repair shop in 2019 and later given to the FBI. It was a water-damaged MacBook Pro and the person who dropped it off never paid for the service and didn’t retrieve it or a hard drive on which its contents were stored – according to the shop owner who said he repeatedly tried to contact the customer. Sky News host Sharri Markson said the owner of the repair shop in Biden’s home state of Delaware says when he did not hear back from the FBI, he made a copy of the hard drive and gave it to Donald Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani. Emails on the laptop revealed that Hunter Biden had planned to introduce his father – the then-Vice President – to an executive at Ukrainian energy company Burisma, a company where Hunter served on the board of directors. Publicly, Biden has said he’s never spoken to his son about his overseas business dealings. These emails seem to indicate otherwise. In one message sent by Vadym Pozharsky in April 2015, he wrote: “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent (sic) some time together. It’s realty (sic) an honour and pleasure.” In response to this news, Facebook and Twitter both censored the article from the New York Post, advising they were “limiting the distribution” of the story on their platforms until a third-party contractor can “fact check” the article. Mr Bannon told Ms Markson, “Hunter Biden’s lawyer has come to us both with phone calls and with emails saying, ‘hey, I’ve got to get the hard drive back’.” “This is not some Russian intelligence operation; they admit it’s their hard drive,” Mr Bannon said. “We have the emails from the Lawyer, if we need to release them, we’ll release them.”
