Daoism Spirituality

It is always interesting to explore different beliefs, philosophies and religions to find commonality.  It seems especially important today with our world turned upside down.

cultivatekindnessyinyang-300x281The Chinese word Tao or Dao is used in an attempt to identify, by name, that nameless Infinite Energy, a Divine Intelligence beyond our understanding. The  energy makes up the physical and metaphysical worlds in all of its manifestations, both known and unknown.  The original conception of Dao was simply the observation that reality has a certain way about it. The Dao or the “Way’ encompasses all of existence. Some may call it God’s will, or an atheist may call it the laws of nature,  labels pointing to the same concept.

The Daoists understood the Dao as the appropriate way for humans to live their lives. But for the Daoists, following the way was participating in the Dao of nature, the changes and rhythms of the universe and the natural world. For Daoists, to neglect the way of nature was the root of society’s misery. They believe if a person follows the “way” or “path” and lives a life of virtue, then the way of nature, heaven, Earth, and humanity will 72127554_1397073520458136_1438555366869696512_nbe balanced.

Followers of Dao is to master what is within each of us and realize the power within. One has to know themselves to gain intuitive understanding and discernment. This basic concept was also taught by JesusBuddha and Krishna. Even though Daoism does not name a tradition by a founding thinker, is it believed that a teacher named Lao Tzu reported to have written the dao de jing  2500 years ago It was considered one of the wisest ancient books, living in unity with nature and the way or Dao. It is also the most translated text into English next to the Bible. It is difficult to interpret because of its poetic, evocative style and its elusive subject. It is a book of mystery and can be translated as the “Classic of the Way and the Virtue.”

The goal is balance yin, our feminine side, and yang, our masculine side.  According to the Chinese, Energetic fields are divided into Yin and Yang. The theory of yin and yang energy represents the duality of balance and harmony within the body as well as the universe. Earth energy is Yin while Heaven energy is Yang.  The video below is an excellent summary providing insight on how to be spiritual from a Daoist perspective

It Is All About Love

This Digital Freedom Platform has already live streamed the following incredible episodes using independent technology to ensure LIVE, UNCENSORED, UNINTERRUPTED access you can find here. Join the one million strong.

We are emotional beings. Love is personal to each of us and cannot be defined or explained in simple terms.  In 1763, Emanuel Swedenborg said In Love and Wisdom, “Man knows that there is such a thing as love, but he does not know what love is. He knows that there is such a thing as love from common speech, as when it is said, he loves me, a king loves his subjects, and subjects love their king, a husband loves his wife, a mother her children, and conversely; also, this or that one loves his country, his fellow citizens, his neighbor; and likewise of things abstracted from person, as when it is said, one loves this or that thing. But although the word love is so universally used, hardly anybody knows what love is.”

Do we know any more today about love? In 1763, there were 700 million people in the world with libraries and horses with cobblestone streets in sparsely populated areas, taking days to get information from one place to another.

Today we have  11 times more people with instant information on our cell phones, iPads, and laptops. Just google it and you get instant answers, if it is not censored and then you have to check the images (28)validity. What we have learned is that the heart electromagnetic field can be measured several feet from our bodies. Our emotions are constantly up and down, positive and negative, always present and affecting our energy field. Love is a powerful emotion that we have felt in our relationships with families, friends, co-workers, lovers and former lovers, school mates, casual acquaintances and strangers. Our emotions dominate us, the way we think, sleep, eat, our moods and how we perceive life.

Look what  7.7 billion people on earth  have done radiating either positive or negative vibrations, nonstop regarding the COVID19; it has affected our homes, jobs, cities, countries and our world. Our emotions are affected by everything we do, hear and see.

Jesus said “love your neighbor as yourself.

Lao Tzu said in the Tao Te Ching, “nothing but good comes to him who loves others as he loves himself.”

“As a mother would protect her only child with her life … cultivate a boundless love towards all beings.” Buddha

Imagine 7.7 billion people radiating love and positive vibrations and how that would change our world …. Be part of the change and pass this on!!!!

Are You Listening to God?

We are living in a time when we are experiencing a world wide spiritual awakening. Many are receiving what they believe to be  telepathic or thought broadcastings, streamings thoughtsfrom Infinite Intelligence. We are in a place in time to know our true selves,  learn how to balance love and wisdom, and use our body in its natural function.

Universal Intelligence also known as God, connects us all. Science may call it a quantum or biofield, described as “a field of energy and information. According to science the properties of the field could be based on electromagnetic fields, coherent states, biophotons, quantum and quantum-like processes. The former Dr. Valerie V. Hunt, scientist, author, lecturer and Professor Emeritus of Physiological Science at the University of California confirmed electromagnetic energy is the most plentiful constant energy of our universe. Science also tells us that our heart electromagnetic energy field can be detected and measured several feet from the body and is 100 time stronger than the field of our brains.

onenessThe Abrahamic religions, Christians, Jews and Islam may refer to this quantum or biofield as the Holy Spirit while while Taoist refer to chi or qi and the Dao or the way. Hindu refer to prana and chakras while the Buddha included prana under a different name, one that is also used in yoga. The words is virya, and it means vitality, or life energy.

Consider all the different labels of this biofield by science and religion the same. When we realize we are co-creators of our reality based on our thoughts, emotions and actions, then our healing process can begin.

Each person should evaluate their own streamings, also known as channelling, to determine the polarity either positive or negative. We know how our body is affected by bacteria, virus and an array of toxins from our our foods and environment. Our bodies safe_imagesuffer from pain that needs physical healing. Our minds are susceptible to infection by fear, worries, anger, greed, selfishness, jealousy just to name of few, which requires mental healing. Our spirit is haunted by the disease of forgetting our true nature which cause man to forget their perfect divine nature and focus on the physical world. Ignorance creates imbalances between body, mind and spirit.

Perhaps this is the time of your spiritual journey to listen to those involuntary telepathic or thought broadcastings, those streamings from Infinite Intelligence that is now encompassing our planet. It is time for us to realize “We Are One” and together we can raise the consciousness of our planet to the higher vibration of love and wisdom.

Psychological Warfare

We are in a Psychological war right now and most do not even realize it. Since our birth we have been  programmed  by our education and religions systems,  the media and politics.  We have been divided as Christians, Jew and Muslim, black and white,  left and right, democrats and republicans. We have been divided all our lives and we have to ask ourselves, why? Why is facebook and google practicing censorship when so many men 2e90qpand women have died so we would have that freedom. Why has mainstream media reporting on the coronavirus  nonstop as if nothing else is happening in the world. The reporting seems to be more manipulative rather than honest, constructive reporting creating fear and confusion. There is no fair and balanced reporting and again you have to ask yourself why?

We are witnesses the greatest show on earth and we will not get the truth from mainstream media, facebook or google. One search engine that I use is Duckduckgo which allows  searches to be private,  block trackers, secure connections, and more  for free.  This documentary  by researcher and author Janet Ossebaard from the Netherlands is presented with the aid of countless  ‘Anons’ across the world. It will help explain what is going on around the world.

There is so much fear regarding the COVID-19. What if it is not anything like mainstream media is presenting.  We are all subject to three types of diseases that affect the body, download-1mind and Spirit and all are interrelated. Disease normally occurs during recurring negative thoughts, emotions and actions. We know the Law of Karma, we reap what we sow. The body is affected by bacteria, virus and an array of toxins in our foods and environment. Our bodies suffer from pain that needs physical healing. Our minds are susceptible to infection by fear, worries, anger, greed, selfishness, jealousy, and judging, just to name of few, which requires mental healing. Our spirit is haunted by the disease of forgetting our true nature which cause man to forget their perfect divine nature and focus on the physical world. Ignorance creates imbalances between body, mind and spirit.

The healing process begins when we seek the truth and connect to the divine. Energy flows with love. When we love others as we love ourselves; love nature; be of service to others and are mindful of our thoughts, emotions and actions, the healing process will begin. Prayer, meditation, contemplation and gratitude is part of the healing process.

Divide and conquer is their strategy but unity and love is our salvation.  Seek the truth for yourself and do not believe anything that your are told.  Use your God given gift of discernment.  The information provided is just that, information so that you can discover the truth for yourself. We are all in this together.

What is Natural Healing?

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. “Are you your own healer” says Shamini Jain, who invites us to discover the hidden possibilities of healing from a scientific and spiritual point of view. Dr. Shamini Jain is a psychologist, scientist, and social entrepreneur. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UC San Diego, where she is also Chair of the Center for Integrative Medicine’s Research Committee. Dr. Jain is also the Founding Director of the Consciousness and Healing Initiative, a collaborative effort that links scientists, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and educators to facilitate personal and planetary healing through an understanding of consciousness and consciousness-based practices.

Buddhism Fundamentals

The basic fundamentals are taming the unruly mind and being mindful of our thoughts, speech and actions. While as much as possible, avoid destructive ways of image01thought, speech and actions while cultivating positive and constructive ways of thought, speech and actions. This requires taming the mind, by ridding it of confusion about reality and about behavioral cause and effect.

hqdefault (3)Buddha teachings are; Commit not anything negative at all; splendidly enact what is constructive; fully subdue your own mind.

Negative means something self-destructive, something that causes problems and unhappiness to others. Splendidly enact what is constructive means something that brings about positivity and happiness for all.

682b863845642d1e1e21f79caf51d1bc--buddha-zen-buddhist-quotesMeditation is the tool to fully subdue your mind. Meditation is a natural relaxation state of the mind. The proper way to meditate is just start, developing a practice over time. Do what works for you. Sitting in a chair or floor with good posture, close your eyes, take 5–10 slow deep breaths, following your breath. Your relaxing your mind so try not to think of anything. Just focus on a point in the front of eyes. You will find your thoughts drifting to problems just bring the focus back to the point in front of the eyes. The time you meditate is up to you.

The above describes the first step of Dzogchen,an esoteric tradition of teachings considered to be the highest and most definitive path to enlightenment by Tibetan images (54) rainbow body loving thoughtsBuddhism, known for the Rainbow Body.  Buddha found enlightenment with the breath sitting under a tree. So with the will and wisdom, dzogchen becomes an incredibly profound and effective method for achieving enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. The fundamentals of Dzogchen meditation can be found here, and even may be the most powerful meditation technique.

Reality and Visualization

Is it contradictory to accept reality and yet visualize for a better world? The acceptance albert_einstein_quoteof reality is just that, accepting what is currently occurring, visualization is for what is to come.

We worry constantly about what is happening, what may or may not happen. It is prudent to our own psychological well being as well as our spiritual growth to accept our reality as it comes to fruition, as this acceptance can bring peace to our psyche. I believe when we begin to accept reality as it is, it actually empowers us to change the reality of our world. Rather than looking at anything negative that we believe is our reality, if we find the love in it – the silver lining, then our reality begins to change. Our reality serves as a catalyst for our spiritual growth to teach us the ways of unconditional love. When we accept our reality, we begin to understand our purpose and role in this life.

Visualization through meditation is the practice of seeing and listening through the heart.

It’s one of the paths of making the mind and heart one. Studies have found that the human mind does not distinguish the difference between our own experience and that of which we experience through our eyes or dreams. Therefore; simply watching a program or playing a video game in which our body begins to react to our thoughts, our mind believes we are actually experiencing the event. The saying is we become what we think, our thoughts can and do create our reality. Every thought is a form of energy, we send that energy out into the world and it begins to manifest. Visualizing positive thoughts through the heart makes a direct connection to the mind increasing the intensity of our thoughts, sending positive energy out into our world and universe.

Visualization however, requires more than just the act of love through the heart and sight through the mind’s eye, it also requires a complete faith and trust of oneself.

Expanding and Experiencing Spirituality Through Intention

How much of an impact do our intentions have on us and our world?  Our lives are programmed from the first phase of birth, programmed to eat on a schedule, to sleep on a schedule, to work on a schedule.  We have become so accustomed to being programmed we even program ourselves.  We create an intense catalog mentally of our responses to specific stimuli, in return when experienced again our subconscious takes over and goes into autopilot.  Reacting and/or responding to our repeat of the same experience.  What happens when we stop ourselves and actually think through the intention of the outcome rather than the outcome itself?  Are we truly living life or merely trying to survive it?   Ask yourself,  how many times throughout my day do I just go through the motions, never giving a thought as to why I’m taking the action.

Does that mean if I respond the same way each time to a specific comment or action, I’m acting from pre-programming?  No, not necessarily.  Let’s take for instance a loved one saying I love you,  normally a typical response is to confirm you love them as well.  Now ask yourself, when you say it do you just say the words or do you actually wish to convey to the person the actually feeling of love you feel in your heart.  Your answer is not only indicative of your self programming but also of your spiritual well being.

When we go through the motions without intentions, we rob ourselves of the emotions, placeborewards and growth the action alone fails to garner.  How do completely benign thoughts and actions fill and affect our world?  Studies regarding placebos indicate that when we believe we are taking medication that helps us the outcome can be a measured positive response. When we take a placebo our intention is to heal, and we tell our bodies such and it makes it so.  Therefore our intentions not only affect our emotional state so that we actually experience the moment, we find that intention also affects our physical bodies as well.

The New York Times Bestseller, The Hidden Messages in Water, documents the extraordinary life work of Dr. Emoto regarding the impact of human thoughts, emotions and intentions on water crystallizationThe study had a profound impact on our understanding of the effect of our thoughts and intentions on the world around us.  The study showed beautiful and intricate crystals formed when positive intentions and thoughts were impressed upon the glass of water, when negative thoughts and intentions were impressed upon the same water the crystals were dark and ill formed, if formed at all.

Our intention adds the abstract layer of a focused outcome, one in which we not only create the thought or action but do so with a mindfulness making us fully aware of the moment.  In doing so we not only capture the emotional impact of the moment but we expand our spirituality with the acknowledgement of the connection between our heart and minds.  Studies already prove that human consciousness has more to do with our reality than human intelligence.  Want a better day?  Want a better life? Want a better world? Our intentions can and do impact the physical world around us,  how much can we change ours by living in the moment, by acting and thinking with positive intention?

Stumbling in the Silence

busymind2

Nirvana, enlightenment, Christ Consciousness, many words used to describe a state of higher consciousness a state of loving all.  Becoming one with all, stepping beyond our own human limits and rising to our spiritual level which has no boundaries.  Measly words created by man can barely describe that of which we know and understand,  trying to use those same words to describe that of which exists only in faith, only within ones self can never convey it to a level of understanding that will come on an intellectual level.  That however is where the fun begins.

theveil

It’s called the “veil”.  Such as the bride who hides behind the veil to only be exposed at the time of unity – the uniting of two to become one.  Same holds true with the “veil” that each of us live behind as a spiritual being living a human experience.  The “veil” only to be dropped when we have reached the unity of oneness with our One Creator.   When we reach the acceptance of Love, that it is not just what we do or how we feel, it is who we are.  Love is all, it’s oneness;  it is the very reason for our existence.

Spirituality has been described as that of which is revealed in the silence when looking within ones self to understand the true message given to mankind throughout the ages in sacred texts. Silence…., who hears anything in the silence, isn’t that in itself contradictory?  Silence is defined as having no audible sound, to hear nothing according to the dictionary.

silence

Therein lies the challenge, how does one find the silence within?  There’s so much noise today, not just on the outside but within us.  We worry about finances, love, family, health,  politics, we worry about worrying.  Our minds don’t stop long enough to hear silence, we  are constantly thinking about whats next, family, friends, chores, trips,  health and life.  Most of us can’t even hear ourselves speak.

In Greek during biblical days, the word silence meant to keep peace.  Therefore; when one keeps peace within themselves – within the silence, the truth is revealed. Much like the varying definitions of the word silence, each of us will also have varying definitions as it applies to us.  Silence doesn’t always mean a clear, empty mind, sometimes it may just be observed as a peacefulness within.  There is no right or wrong way to reflect upon ones own image, peeling back the layers of what we not only hide from others but hide from ourselves.

peacewithin

The search within is a catalyst for most, if not all along the spiritual path.  Searching and listening for the silence, waiting for that noticeable change within.  The change begins the minute we opt to pursue the path of spirituality, the minute our mind accepts things aren’t as they seem.  We notice subtle changes in our thought process.  However; for some this is the point that seems to lead to frustration, and for some a hesitation to continue along the path.  A feeling of inferiority, a feeling of failure, these feelings are normal, they are a part of the path.  That is the voice we hear in the silence, its not telling us to condemn and judge ourselves its showing us the areas we must focus on and bring into balance.  We all struggle and stumble within the silence.  Struggle to understand the message, and stumbling by judging our self.   The silence can become stronger when we have no level of expectation, but simply an acceptance and love for our self.  Loving and accepting of ones self is the ultimate catalyst for spiritual growth, without the love of our self how do we love our neighbors as our self?
