A former Wall Street analyst and BlackRock portfolio manager, Edward Dowd has been analyzing excess mortality data from the CDC (https://www.theepochtimes.com/t-cdc) and from insurance companies with his partner, Josh Stirling, an insurance analyst. Excess mortality or excess deaths (https://www.theepochtimes.com/t-excess-deaths) refers to the number of deaths from all causes above what would be expected under normal circumstances.
Earlier this year, the CEO of a major life insurance company said death rates among working-age Americans had gone up 40 percent from pre-pandemic levels. A recent report by the Society of Actuaries now reinforces this alarming data, Dowd says.
‘In the 25 to 34 [age group], they saw 78 percent excess mortality in the third quarter of 2021. They also saw, in the 35 to 44 age group, 100 percent excess mortality,’ Dowd says.”

Israel Found and Covered Up Serious Side Effects From Pfizer COVID Vaccine
Israel didn’t start to gather safety data until a year into the vaccine program. They gathered 6 months worth of data and found that the vaccines weren’t safe so they lied to the world about it.
Dr. Peter McCullough: “In France, they took hydroxychloroquine off the over-the-counter market months before the virus was even announced.”
“The suppression of early treatment and the suppression of any advancement in hospital care was intentional to create fear, suffering, hospitalization, and death in order to prepare the world’s population to accept mass vaccination — with no end in sight.”
‘Irrefutable Proof’ That mRNA Vaccines Cause Vascular and Organ Damage: Study
By Enrico Trigoso
September 9, 2022Updated: September 10, 2022
A recent study claims to have found “irrefutable proof of causality” that the mRNA vaccines cause vascular and organ damage.
The study, conducted by microbiologists Dr. Michael Palmer and Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi, was mostly based on the findings of German pathologists Dr. Arne Burkhardt and Dr. Walter Lang.
Here is a summary of the findings:
mRNA vaccines don’t stay at the injection site; they instead travel throughout the body and accumulate in various organs.
mRNA-based COVID vaccines induce long-lasting expression of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in many organs.
Vaccine-induced expression of the spike protein induces autoimmune-like inflammation.
Vaccine-induced inflammation can cause grave organ damage, especially in vessels, sometimes with deadly outcomes.
“This study, by the type of dyes they use, shows irrefutable proof that the spike protein goes everywhere—heart, ovary, liver, spleen—and to a lesser extent, testes.” Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, an expert in vaccine damage, told The Epoch Times.
“This is what leads to multi-organ system failure. This is what leads to infertility in women.”
“There has been a lot of hypothesis about the damage these shots cause. Now, with these pathology slides and the specific types of immunochemistry staining, Bhakti and Palmer show—unequivocally—that the spike protein is quickly disseminated to every organ they examined,” Tenpenny said.
“They are both pathologists; looking at slides of tissue under a microscope and appropriately staining tissue is what they are trained to do!” she added.
“Those of us who warned of the dangers of these COVID shots were widely censored and ridiculed,” Dr. Christiane Northrup, former fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, told The Epoch Times.
“I wish we had been wrong. We weren’t. And we finally have irrefutable proof,” Northrup added.
According to toxicologist Janci Lindsay, Ph.D., who has been following the COVID vaccine story since its inception, the most valuable takeaway from this study is that it “corroborates” Markus Aldén et al.’s findings (in-vitro) that Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine may be transcribed into cellular DNA—in an in-vivo system.
In-vitro, which means “in glass” in Latin, refers to when a test or process is done in a test tube or outside a living organism. In-vivo (within the living) means the studies are done in living organisms.
That the vaccine quickly distributes through the body was a finding present in Pfizer’s own animal experiments.
“The subject was deceased but the examination of their tissue showed that they were expressing the spike protein, nine months after the injection of the genetic vaccine,” Lindsay told The Epoch Times.
The only three possible ways that the abovementioned could happen, she explains, are when:
mod-mRNA is stable in the body for nine months.
The mRNA has been integrated into the genome, such as in the Aldén study.
The person was around somebody who was recently vaccinated and the mRNA was transmitted.
The Palmer and Bhakdi study says that the “limited experimental studies available (2015, 2018)” indicate that the injected modified mRNA should degrade “within days to a few weeks of the injection.”
But, “this is obviously difficult to square with the observed long-lasting expression; in some form or other, the genetic information appears to be perpetuated in-vivo,” the study states.
“Their findings of spike expression nine months out from [taking the vaccine] support either genomic integration of the mRNA coding the spike protein into the genome of the cells shown expressing it, or, that the synthetically modified messenger RNA is remaining stable within these cells months after it was supposed to be degraded,” Lindsay said.
“This constitutive expression of the spike protein would exhaust the immune system and/or eventually possibly make it non-responsive or tolerant to the spike protein, allowing for untold spike-mediated damage,” she added.
The methods used by Dr. Burkhardt are called histopathology and immunohistochemistry.
The technique is explained in the study: “If a vaccine particle—composed of the spike-encoding mRNA, coated with lipids—enters a body cell, this will cause the spike protein to be synthesized within the cell and then taken to the cell surface. There, it can be recognized by a spike-specific antibody.”
“After washing the tissue specimen to remove unbound antibody molecules, the bound ones can be detected with a secondary antibody that is coupled with some enzyme, often horseradish peroxidase,” it reads. “After another washing step, the specimen is incubated with a water-soluble precursor dye that is converted by the enzyme to an insoluble brown pigment. Each enzyme molecule can rapidly convert a large number of dye molecules, which greatly amplifies the signal.”
“Histo” comes from the Greek word for “web, tissue.”
“At the top right of the image, you can see two cells which were exposed to the Pfizer vaccine and then subjected to the protocol outlined above. The intense brown stain indicates that the cells were indeed producing the spike protein,” the study reads, referring to image 3.
Health Feedback, a member of the Vaccine Safety Net led by the WHO, on Sept. 3 said that these claims are “unsubstantiated.”
“The idea that mRNA from COVID-19 vaccines can remain in our bodies in the long term is a common myth with no scientific basis,” the WHO fact-checking branch states.
“mRNA from vaccines is fragile and gets rapidly degraded by cellular machinery once it has delivered the genetic instructions. The spike protein generated by COVID-19 vaccines is thought to remain in the body for up to a few weeks, like other proteins made by the body,” they add.
Blood Vessel Inflammation
The second biggest discovery, Lindsay believes, would be the observation of endothelial damage—inflammation and denuded endothelial cells inside the blood vessels.
Endothelium is the tissue that lines the blood vessels and other organs, such as the heart.
“Spike protein disease is an endothelial disease—very key to myocarditis, etc.,” Dr. Tenpenny said.
The dose of mRNA used in this study is higher than mRNA in the COVID shot.
The Alden study is in-vitro (not in-vivo) and the normal human immune and chemical protections are not present.
The liver cells used in the experiment are liver cancer cells and their response to reverse transcriptase may not be typical.
“It is possible as queried in the comment on Aldén et al. paper, that persistent pieces of DNA or mRNA in people with COVID lead to persistent circulating spike protein as a cause of long COVID. Furthermore, the same symptoms could be produced via an analogous mechanism by the COVID shot as well,” he added.
Burkhardt and Lang
The Palmer and Bhakdi paper says that Burkhardt and Lang studied many cases of people who died months or days after getting the COVID vaccine.
In all of these cases, the cause of death was documented as “natural” or “unknown.”
Some members of the families of those deceased had doubts about the verdicts of their causes of death and wanted to double-check.
According to the study, Burkhardt found “the majority of these deaths to be due to vaccination.”
The Epoch Times recently reported that several embalmers across the country have been observing many large, and sometimes very long, “fibrous” and rubbery clots inside the corpses they treat, and are speaking out about their findings. Some doctors believe them to be connected to the vaccines.

New CDC COVID-19 Guidance Is Agency ‘Admitting It Was Wrong’: Epidemiologist
By Zachary Stieber and Jan Jekielek
August 13, 2022Updated: August 13, 2022
The new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 guidance is the agency acknowledging it was wrong in the past to downplay natural immunity and promote unprecedented policies like asymptomatic testing, a California epidemiologist says.
The new guidance, released on Aug. 11, rescinds and alters a number of key recommendations, including treating unvaccinated and vaccinated people differently for many purposes, explicitly stating that people with previous infection have protection against severe illness, and removing six-foot social distancing advice.
“The CDC is admitting it was wrong here, although they won’t put it in those words,” Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, professor of medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, told The Epoch Times.
“What they’ll say is that, well, ‘the population is more immunized now, has more natural immunity now, and now is the time—the science has changed.’”
But a large percentage of the U.S. population has had natural immunity, or protection from prior infection, Bhattacharya noted, while over 80 percent of the elderly population had protection from severe disease from COVID-19 vaccines, previous infection, or both, since 2021.
“This is two years too late, but it’s a good step,” Bhattacharya added.
The CDC, which did not respond to a request for comment, portrayed the change as streamlining previous guidance, with the adjustments stemming from more people being vaccinated and more COVID-19 treatments available.
“We’re in a stronger place today as a nation, with more tools—like vaccination, boosters, and treatments—to protect ourselves, and our communities, from severe illness from COVID-19,” Greta Massetti, the CDC author of the new guidance, said in a statement. “We also have a better understanding of how to protect people from being exposed to the virus, like wearing high-quality masks, testing, and improved ventilation. This guidance acknowledges that the pandemic is not over, but also helps us move to a point where COVID-19 no longer severely disrupts our daily lives.”
Dr. Jerome Adams, the surgeon general during the Trump administration, echoed the line of thinking.
“The fact that @CDCgov is changing guidance shouldn’t be taken as proof that they were necessarily ‘wrong,’ on a particular issue. The virus has changed, our tools and immunity have changed, and our knowledge has changed. So too must our guidance. That’s how science works,” Adams wrote on Twitter.
Vaccination numbers have fallen off in recent months, with little change among adults and little update among children, even after the vaccines were authorized and recommended for kids as young as 6 months old.
No new treatments have been authorized since December 2021, and a number of the treatments have been shown as less effective against newer strains of the virus that causes COVID-19, as have the vaccines and, in some cases, natural immunity.
Nearly half of the 20 papers and briefs cited by the CDC in support of the adjusted guidance were published in 2020 or 2021, while a number of others were released in early 2022.
No Mandates Rescinded Yet
Among the most significant changes in the guidance: a rollback of recommendations for asymptomatic testing for individuals exposed to COVID-19, loosening guidance related to tracing contacts of COVID-19 cases, and ending quarantine recommendations for people exposed to a positive case.
Some rules are stricter for high-risk settings such as nursing homes.
Masking is also recommended for 10 days for people who were exposed to COVID-19, including when a person is at home around others.
Bhattacharya, who co-authored the Great Barrington Declaration in 2020, a document that called for focused protection on the elderly and fewer restrictions on others, said that the guidance is closely aligned with the principles outlined in the declaration.
Based on the new guidance, the CDC should immediately rescind the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for foreign travelers entering The United States, a policy imposed in November 2021, the professor added.
The CDC’s webpage describing the mandate says that the agency “is reviewing this page to align with updated guidance.” The U.S. government has not adjusted or rescinded any of its vaccine mandates since the guidance was changed.
People are sadly so brainwashed they have lost all concept of reality
Instead of listening and following what others tell us, perhaps it is time to seek and discover the truth for ourselves. There is no better time to connect with our Source. Meditation, is one approach with countless benefits, to explore the Way. Jesus said in the Dialogue of the Savior, left out of the Bible, “When I came among humanity, I opened the door to the Way. I showed you the path that you must follow. You will find it within yourselves.” And Buddha said six hundred years earlier, “Before you set foot on the path, master yourself.” Krishna said, around 3500 BC, ” Those find the Way are those who have love and forgiveness in the hearts, and Lao Tzu said in 5oo BC, “the Way is empty, the Way is full. There is no Way to describe what it is. Find it within yourselves.”
From the Law of One: 49.8Questioner: Is it better, or shall I say, does it produce more usable results in meditation to leave the mind, shall I say, as blank as possible; let it run down, so to speak, or is it better to focus in meditation on some object or some thing for concentration?
Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last full query of this work time.
Each of the two types of meditation is useful for a particular reason. The passive meditation involving the clearing of the mind, the emptying of the mental jumble which is characteristic of mind complex activity among your peoples, is efficacious for those whose goal is to achieve an inner silence as a base from which to listen to the Creator. This is an useful and helpful tool and is by far the most generally useful type of meditation as opposed to contemplation or prayer.
The type of meditation which may be called visualization has as its goal not that which is contained in the meditation itself. Visualization is the tool of the adept. Those who learn to hold visual images in mind are developing an inner concentrative power that can transcend boredom and discomfort. When this ability has become crystallized in an adept the adept may then do polarizing in consciousness without external action, which can affect the planetary consciousness. This is the reason for existence of the so-called White Magician. Only those wishing to pursue the conscious raising of planetary vibration will find visualization to be a particularly satisfying type of meditation.
Contemplation or the consideration in a meditative state of an inspiring image or text is extremely useful also among your peoples, and the faculty of will called praying is also of a potentially helpful nature. Whether it is indeed an helpful activity depends quite totally upon the intentions and objects of the one who prays.
Meditation has been around for thousands of years and based on Hindu Scripture, as a religious practice. Buddha said “Meditation brings wisdom; lack of mediation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.”
It is even mentioned in the Bible, Psalm 1:1-2, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; (2) but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.”
In Joshua 1: 8 states “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it.”
The Acts of Peter XXI, also omitted from the bible, “Give ear; withdraw your souls from all that appears but is not truly real; close these eyes of yours, close your ears, withdraw from actions that are outwardly seen; and you shall know the reality of Christ and the whole secret of your salvation.” In Matthew 6:6 ” But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
There is no right or wrong way to meditate. There are many paths to our Source and each has free will to determine their journey. Perhaps Jesus’ message in the Gospel of Thomas can assist in our journey of seeking the truth. In the Gospel of Thomas, (48) Jesus said, “If two make peace with each other in this one house, they will say to the mountain, ‘Move Away,’ and it will move away.” The one house is the body, and the two are mind and spirit. A very similar saying in (106) Jesus said, “When you make the two one, you will become the sons of man, and when you say, ‘Mountain, move away,’ it will move away.”
Could the two be thought and emotion? When we can make our thoughts and emotions one, we will be transformed and will able to move mountains.
We have a divine power within and meditation is the gateway to tap into our Source. It is up to each person to look within, know yourself and understand our purpose in greatest Spiritual battle we have even known. Our tool is meditation, contemplation, prayer and seeking the truth from our source. This video may provide additional insight into our past.
Alex Newman Explains UN Agenda 2030 Behind Farming Restrictions
By Ella Kietlinska and Joshua Philipp
July 20, 2022Updated: July 20, 2022
The United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for sustainable development informs government policies to restrict farming and transform the food systems in different parts of the world, said Alex Newman, an award-winning international journalist who has covered this issue for over a decade.
The 2030 Agenda is a plan of action devised by the United Nations (U.N.) to achieve 17 sustainable development goals (SDG). The goals and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development were adopted by all UN member states in 2015.
Then-Secretary General of the U.N. Ban Ki-moon called the 2030 Agenda “the global declaration of interdependence,” (pdf) Newman said in a recent interview on EpochTV’s “Crossroads” program.
“In my opinion, [it] was a direct swipe at our Declaration of Independence … So instead of being independent nations, we will all be now interdependent.”
The 2030 Agenda “covers every element of human life, every element of the economy,” including global wealth redistribution not only within the nations but also among the nations, Newman commented. The Agenda “specifically says that we need to change the way that we consume and produce goods,” he added.
Goal number two on the 2030 Agenda deals specifically with food, Newman said.
In September 2021, the U.N. held the Food Systems Summit, which emphasized the need “to leverage the power of food systems” for the purpose of achieving all 17 sustainable development goals by 2030, according to a U.N. statement.
“Everyone, everywhere, must take action and work together to transform the way the world produces, consumes, and thinks about food,” the statement said.
The sustainable development agenda emerged in the 1970s when the United Nations tried to define it at a conference in Vancouver, Canada, in 1976. Newman said.
The conference, which was the first U.N. Conference on Human Settlements known as Habitat I, adopted the Vancouver Declaration (pdf), a report that provided recommendations for U.N. member states.
Newman quoted an excerpt from this report: “Land cannot be treated as an ordinary asset controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth, therefore contributes to social injustice.”
Newman said that, in his view, the U.N. ultimately wants to get rid of private land ownership. “We see this all over the world. This is not just happening in the Netherlands.”
He thinks that a war is taking place against farmers and ranchers, especially those who are independent or those who are not part of the system. “They want to remove small farmers, even medium farmers, from their land, and they want to bring it all under the control of these—I think there’s no other term to describe it—fascistic public-private partnerships.”
Newman noted some examples to illustrate his opinion: The Chinese regime forces peasants to move to megacities, farmers are killed in South Africa, and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the United States proposed a new rule that could bankrupt small and medium farmers.
In March 2022, the SEC proposed a regulation that “would mandate publicly traded companies to report on their carbon emissions and other climate-related information,” as well as report similar information from any companies with which they do business, according to an SEC statement.
As a consequence, all companies in the business supply chain of a publicly traded entity would have to report their carbon emission and climate-related data.
U.S. Sens. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and John Hoeven (R-N.D.) led 30 lawmakers to urge SEC to repeal its proposal, calling it a “regulatory overreach.”
”Imposing regulatory overreach on farmers and ranchers falls outside of the SEC’s congressionally provided authority,” the senators said in a statement. “This substantial reporting requirement would significantly burden small, family-owned farms.”
The American Farm Bureau Federation said in a statement that the proposed rule could create “substantial costs” for farmers because they do not have teams of compliance officers or attorneys like large corporations. Moreover, it may push out of business small and medium-sized farmers and force food-processing companies to look for agricultural raw products outside of the United States, the statement asserted.
Centralizing Food Supply
“If you control the food supply, you control everything,” Newman said.
“One of the things that the communists loved to do is create scarcity and create dependents. As long as you have independent people who are able to take care of themselves, there really is no need for the government to run your life and to control everything that you do,” Newman said.
“Americans are good examples,” Newman continued. “As long as the food production is widely diffused, and it’s in the hands of independent producers, it becomes very difficult to get people to bend to your will.”
The whole idea of using food as a weapon has been a hallmark of communist regimes for 100 years, Newman explained. “It’s also been a hallmark of the very same people who are openly promoting the U.N. Agenda 2030, the sustainable development goals, and even the World Economic Forum.”
Those who contrived “the controlled demolition of our food supply … want to completely restructure it,” in order to gain total centralized control of that because it gives them absolute power over everybody under their jurisdiction, Newman said.
For example, the Chinese regime and the mega-corporations formed a public-private partnership to centralize control of the food supply, Newman said.
It’s similar to what occurred in Nazi Germany, where on paper private companies own the business and ostensibly manage their businesses, but, ultimately, the private companies will be taking their orders from the government, Newman explained.
In the United States, the ESG metrics are used to “hijack control of the business sector, of the individual companies, and put them at the service of the goals of what I call the predator class—the people behind the World Economic Forum, behind the United Nations,” Newman said. (ESG stands for environmental, social, and governance criteria that are used to evaluate companies on how compliant they are with sustainability.)
The food supply centralization is just one component of their agenda, but it is a very critical one, which along with energy and other things, allows them to control humanity, he added.
World Economic Forum Involvement
In January 2021, the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the government of the Netherlands launched a new initiative called Food Innovation Hub, according to a WEF statement. The Hub, joined by several public and private sector partners, is a key platform that will use technology and innovations for food systems transformation, the statement said.
The Food Innovation Hub secured “multiyear funding “ from the Netherlands’ government and established its Global Coordinating Secretariat that would coordinate the efforts of the regional food hubs as well as align with global food processes and initiatives such as the UN Food Systems Summit, the statement read.
The global food Secretariat would be located in Wageningen, Netherlands, at the heart of the Dutch agrifood ecosystem, and would direct the development of global, regional Food Innovation Hubs, according to the “Invest in Holland” website.
“The work of these regional hubs is already underway, with more than 20 organizations leading the initiative across Africa, ASEAN [Association of Southeast Asian Nations], Colombia, and India, and the European hub,” the website said.
Ramon Laguarta, CEO of PepsiCo, said in the WEF statement: “Food is one of the main levers we can pull to improve environmental and societal health. With the right investment, innovation, and robust collaboration, agriculture could become the world’s first sector to become carbon negative. … Unlocking this potential will take ambitious multi-stakeholder, pre-competitive collaborations to transform the food system—exactly what these Hubs are designed to cultivate.”
Among the solutions advocated by the WEF to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions is replacing livestock-derived foods with alternative forms of protein, such as insects, and lab-cultured proteins, according to a 2019 white paper (pdf) commissioned by the WEF.
In response to this recommendation, several indoor agriculture start-ups have emerged, including Ÿnsect, “the first fully automated vertical insect farm in the world, able to produce 100,000 tons of insect products a year,” a WEF report said.
In March, France-based Ÿnsect acquired Jord Producers, a U.S. mealworm manufacturer, to expand its operations in the United States by entering the American chicken feed market, said a company statement.
How People Can Stop Food Takeover
If people want to prevent food supply from being used as a tool to control them, they need to find alternative sources of food locally, Newman said. “You need to have a relationship with the local farmers in your community, get to the local farmers market, deal with the local farmers, come up with some agreement,” such as getting delivery of fresh, seasonal produce from the local farms for 100 bucks a week, he said.
“We need to really start providing an alternative economic structure, because if we let them get control of the entire food supply, I guarantee you, it will be used as a weapon to take your freedom, to get you to do things you otherwise wouldn’t want to do, to undermine the sovereignty of your nation, whether you’re in the United States or another country, and ultimately to dispossess people of their private land and of their freedom.”
“If you have agricultural land, do not sell out to these people. They’re trying to bribe the farmers to leave their land.”

How to Grow 4,400 Pounds of Food a Year in the Backyard
Growing food at home undergoes resurgence as inflation, supply chain worries increase
By Charlotte Cuthbertson
July 20, 2022Updated: July 20, 2022
A vegan family of four, without any gardening experience, can grow all of their own food for a year using 1/20th of an acre.
That’s 4,400 pounds of food per year, grown in six garden beds using the “predictable” and formulaic Mittleider gardening system, said Lucinda Bailey, co-founder of seed bank company Texas Ready.
“I’ve taught 40 different methods at community college level and this is the only system that I could say, ‘If I do a half hour of this kind of labor, I put in this many dollars, I will get 70 pounds at the end of the season,’” Bailey told The Epoch Times.
“In a down economy, we’ve got to produce the calories for our family. It’s a change in lifestyle—it really is—to get people to be able to grow all their groceries in their backyard, but it’s entirely possible.”
Bailey said an 8-year-old girl recently produced 4,325 pounds of food in her first year of trying the Mittleider system, which is known for high yields and the ability to thrive in any soil condition and wide climate variations.
“It’s not a difficult system. She followed the checklist,” Bailey said.
In the past, Bailey would tell gardening novices to grab some seedlings from Home Depot or Lowes and “just keep them alive for 90 days” in the first year. In the second year, start growing from seed and in year three, learn how to save your own seeds, she said.
Now, due to socio-political stressors, she’s encouraging people to get started right away and learn it all at once.
“I just think people ought to begin growing their own food because I don’t think there’s any good answers on the market,” Bailey said.
“It takes about three months to even get something that you’re really going to be able to chow down on. You don’t throw the seeds in and tomorrow you have salad—that isn’t how it works. It could take 60, 90 days before you’re really having that hearty soup.”
In 2020, government-imposed lockdowns kept people at home and many turned to growing their own food—either as a hobby or as a way to combat concerns about the food supply chain.
Once the country opened up, soaring food prices and rising inflation added to food security concerns and again, more people turned to home gardening.
“We’ve really seen—as far as it relates to the food supply chain, and particularly more recently, the cost of food within the supermarket—people wanting to take more control over that,” said Bill Hageman, owner of Peaceful Valley, the largest independent U.S. retailer of organic food production and gardening supplies.
“To be able to grow food within your own home and not have to go through retail chains and other distributors, that’s going to have a more pronounced impact going forward.”
The demographic of who is growing food at home has also shifted dramatically in recent years, said Hageman.
“For our segment within organic gardening, if you look back three or four years, the top demographic would more likely be someone who’s either retired or semi-retired,” he said, citing trends from the company’s online nursery groworganic.com.
“The No. 1 demographic within our website right now is the 22 to 35 [age group]. And it’s split half between male and female. It’s individuals that are craving knowledge that probably didn’t grow up in an environment where they were exposed to their own food production.”
Community gardens are springing up in more places and gardeners are documenting their successes and failures on social media, as well as sharing information on how to solve common issues.
“Where it would have been something that was individualized before, I think people are very proud of their accomplishments and it helps keep them motivated through the hard times when you lose some crop, or you’ve got a pest that you were able to control,” Hageman said.
Hageman has seen a migration in shipping patterns over the past three years from traditional city centers and suburban areas on the West Coast near Los Angeles or San Francisco to areas such as Sacramento, Spokane, and outside of Boise.
“It’s not just a West Coast phenomenon. We’ve seen a lot of people leaving Miami and New York City and moving to suburbs in Atlanta or Nashville,” he said.
Growing enough food to cut out reliance on the supermarket can seem daunting, but experts encourage people to just get started.
Hageman encourages people to “just get their hands dirty.”
“Spend a little bit of time online educating yourself on what resources you would need to be successful,” he said. “It’s really easy to get discouraged. Growing from seed is not always the easiest thing [and] there are certain varieties that will grow easier than others.”
Knowing which USDA hardiness zone you’re in can help avoid failures, Hageman said.
He suggests for first-time and casual gardeners to try starting seeds in a tray and then gardening in a raised bed or containers.
“There’s a pretty low barrier to entry around that,” he said. If you’re growing into the ground, “you really need to understand what’s in your soil.”
Additionally, more and more solutions are hitting the market for people living in urban areas and small spaces.
“Because of the growth of gardening overall, there’s been a lot of new products that have come out over the last two years or so that’ll help homeowners in cities,” Hageman said. People can now “easily” grow tomatoes in containers on a patio or fire escape, he said.
“Within the home, too, I’d say growing herbs, growing spices, growing things in your windowsill. That’s also an attractive way to start.”
Matthew Elsey, merchant of fertilizers and seeds for The Home Depot said the mega-chain has seen an increase in people growing food over the past few years.
“One of the best ways to grow vegetable plants and herb plants in your own yard is in a raised garden bed. Elevated garden beds make it easier to control the soil and protect against pests,” he told The Epoch Times via email.
Elsey said the stores’ top-selling seedlings are tomatoes and hot peppers.
Heirloom Versus Hybrid Seeds
Seeds can be categorized into two general formats—hybrid and open pollinated.
Open-pollinated seeds are the most stable and those that have been around for at least 25 generations can be labeled as “heirloom,” Bailey said.
“The heirloom then is going to be the most stable of the stable. And that’s what you want in a down economy where you have to make sure that you’re feeding your family. There’s no room for mess up.”
To explain a hybrid seed, Bailey likened it to the designer dog labradoodle in the animal world—an intentional breed between a labrador and a poodle.
“But let’s say next year, the dogs get out” and mate, she said.
“You’re not getting labs, you’re not getting poodles, and you’re sure as heck not getting labradoodles. You’re getting mutts. Well that’s exactly what happens in the garden.”
Bailey said hybrids generally produce great food the first year, but beyond that, one of several poor outcomes are likely, including sterile seeds or “you plant a cucumber but you get a gourd” or “you plant a tomato and it reverts up the genetic chain.”
Neither heirloom nor organic seeds are genetically modified (GMO), but organic seeds can be hybrid, she said.
“Just because it’s organic, it just means it was grown in pretty dirt. It doesn’t mean that the genetics are what we want them to do,” she said.
Texas Ready sells seed banks for different-sized families, from the 10,000-seed “Piggy Bank” for two adults, through to the 200,000-seed “The Treasury” for 30-plus adults. The kits include at least 70 different varieties of produce that, used together with the Mittleider system, are geared to provide the annual caloric and nutritional requirement for the group. All of her seeds will grow in the continental United States, she said.
“Our seed banks are based on nutrition,” Bailey said. “So we have two or three things of every vitamin or supplement that is needed.”
Hageman sells organic seeds—sourced locally where possible—as well as plants such as fruit and nut trees. “It’s a higher quality product. We focus on health benefit overall, we focus on nutrition,” he said. The website is packed with gardening products and tips, including how to deal with pests organically.
Seed and Fertilizer Shortages
Seed sales are a litmus test of wider economic and political changes.
Kurt Nauck, co-founder of Texas Ready, said when Barack Obama was president, sales continued to climb. He called Obama “salesman of the year” for several years. The company was selling three or four seed banks a day. However, when President Donald Trump took office, seed sales dropped so low (to two banks per month) that Nauck and Bailey decided in February 2020 to put the company on ice.
Then the pandemic hit and government lockdowns followed. The governor of Michigan banned sales of seeds and gardening supplies from the big box stores that she had allowed to remain open in the state.
“Since that time, we have remained extremely busy,” Nauck said.
“Our customer, I would say, is 95 percent-plus individuals who are pretty new to gardening. That’s always been the case [and] that really hasn’t changed.”
However, Nauck said, the customer base is much broader than before and even farmers are calling to find seeds to plant acres of food. “We didn’t used to have farmers calling us,” he said.
Bailey said she has recently had difficulty sourcing some seeds due to more crop failures and other factors.
“I had never seen that quantity of crop failure. One or two a year, breeds that don’t produce, that makes some sense to me. But 10 or 15 varieties, that makes no sense to me,” she said.
Hageman said he doesn’t foresee a seed shortage to have a “massive impact” on the home gardener.
“I’d say that as it relates to specialty or unique seeds, what we’ve observed is that the price is going up more than the availability is going down,” he said.
Fertilizers are growing in price and potentially getting more scarce. Bailey suggests stocking up now on what’s needed to guarantee success with the Mittleider system—nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, as well as Epsom salts and trace elements. “I could store five years worth for a family of four under a single card table,” she said.
Storing and Saving Seeds
USDA-certified seeds that are stored at around 40 degrees F will last about five years with a germination rate of about 85 percent, Bailey said.
“Seeds are living organisms, so you certainly don’t want to vacuum pack or suck all the oxygen out—there has to be a slight amount of oxygen transfer.”
Beyond the first year’s crop, gardeners should start learning how to save their best seeds for next season—a whole science in itself.
“We believe the old ways were best. Everybody in America at one point knew how to save seeds because that was how they were going to feed their families,” Bailey said.
“There are 17 major seed-saving families. By that I mean, watermelon, cucumbers, squash—those are all done exactly the same way. These aren’t difficult things, but they’re things that you would never guess to do.”
She recommends the book “Seed to Seed” by Suzanne Ashworth as a how-to guide.
“If just a few of us could get good at saving seeds, and we have in our hearts to benefit our neighbors and train them to do it, this thing can go exponential and there is food for everybody. There is no need for food shortages, hunger—nothing like that,” she said.
65.8Questioner: Are you saying then that this possible condition of war would be much more greatly spread across the surface of the globe than anything we have experienced in the past and therefore touch a larger percentage of the population in this form of catalyst?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. There are those now experimenting with one of the major weapons of this scenario, that is the so-called psychotronic group of devices which are being experimentally used to cause such alterations in wind and weather as will result in eventual famine. If this program is not countered and proves experimentally satisfactory, the methods in this scenario would be made public. There would then be what those whom you call Russians hope to be a bloodless invasion of their personnel in this and every land deemed valuable. However, the peoples of your culture have little propensity for bloodless surrender.
In recent years, meditation has become a social trend. While the body appears calm on the surface when meditating, the genes in the body change dramatically.
Meditation is typically a seated affair, but there are moving meditations also, like tai qi and qigong.
From the late 1970s to the 1990s, a variety of Chinese qigong masters came out to teach qigong practices, and many Chinese people developed the habit of going to the park in the morning to practice, a trend that came to be called “qigong fever.”
Later, qigong spread from China to the West, such as the widespread practice called Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa). Most of these qigong and yoga practices originated from the Buddha school. In the past, yogis emphasized spirituality and spiritual enhancement. Nevertheless, after yoga came to the West, its spiritual aspect was excluded, and only the physical adjustment part was left, which is the most popular form of yoga that we see today. The yoga practices with more depth also emphasize the use of meditation to train people’s consciousness, not just to improve the balance of the body.
Meditation is becoming increasingly popular in the West, with even some executives practicing meditation during their lunch breaks to improve their work efficiency.
According to a survey conducted in 2019, 14 percent of people in the United States had tried meditation.
Meditation has become a very important social phenomenon. Why did this occur, and what are its benefits to people?
Improved Heart and Cranial Nerve Health
During the COVID-19 pandemic, there were some studies that tried to use meditation to help patients alleviate their COVID-19 sequelae or vaccine side effects.
As early as 2020, professors at the University of California–San Francisco recognized that the impact of COVID-19 was so severe that it could damage multiple human organs at the same time. Two doctors, Juliet Morgan and Meghan Jobson, found that meditation could help patients recover from their symptoms.
Even beyond holistic health communities, there seems to be a degree of international consensus that meditation is helpful for people recovering from the side effects of COVID-19 vaccines and the lingering effects of the disease itself.
The Western medical community has been doing research on meditation for two to three decades, and meditation has been found to have the following benefits:
activating specific brain regions;
increasing heart rate variability;
suppressing inflammation; and
increasing telomerase expression, which affects the body’s aging mechanism.
In addition, meditation has been shown to be beneficial for both myocardial damage and neurological side effects caused by the COVID-19 vaccines.
Researchers have observed changes in brain activity during meditation through brain imaging techniques and brain wave tests, and they found that the insula and premotor cortex were effectively activated during meditation.
A 2013 study published in The Journal of Social Psychology showed that even five minutes of meditation improved heart rate variability, a parameter used in Western medicine to reflect the elasticity of the interval between each heartbeat. A high heart rate variability indicates strong cardiac regulation.
Moreover, there are different stages of meditation, and the meditation experience of the study subjects varied. For instance, the effects experienced by long-term meditators and occasional practitioners were discovered to be different.
Immune Genes Significantly Upregulated
When meditating, the body may appear to be still, but there are dramatic changes taking place at the microscopic level.
A large-scale genomic study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) showed that meditation activates the body’s immune system.
In this study, the subjects used a meditation method that emphasized stimulating inner thoughts and potential, rather than just focusing on physical movement and the muscle and bone balance.
Three hundred and 88 subjects participated in an eight-day meditation practice, and their blood samples were collected for comparison at four different points in time: two time points before the session, the last day of the eight-day session, and three months after the session.
It was discovered that after eight days of meditation, many genes in the human body were significantly upregulated, and the range of their upregulation was two to four times.
Three months after meditation, the regulation of some genes returned to levels close to those before meditation, but there were still some genes whose upregulation remained. This means that the effects of meditation are long-lasting. And the finding that an eight-day meditation practice still has positive effects after three months is delightfully surprising.
Meditation Activates Powerful Self-Healing Genes
The researchers classified the genes according to their effects and found that many of the genes that were most substantially regulated after meditation were antiviral and related to immunity enhancement.
A total of 220 immune genes were upregulated, and 68 of which were related to interferon and belong to the innate immune mechanism. The eight days of meditation had a very significant strengthening effect on the overall immunity of the body.
This study was conducted on peripheral blood and showed that meditation had an effect on the entire body’s immunity, not just on one organ.
The study also observed that meditation not only enhances the interferon and immune activation responses, but it also improves the body’s ability to break down and metabolize RNA so that if there is an invasion of viral RNA, the body can degrade it relatively quickly.
The Healing Effect of Meditation on Long COVID and Vaccine Side Effects
Is meditation effective for patients with long COVID symptoms or vaccine side effects? The answer to this question pertains to each patient’s own physical qualities, immune potential, and the severity of the disease.
However, it’s clear that meditation can regulate a number of genes that are important for the regulation of the immune system, including TRIM22, STAT1, and STAT2.
STAP2 is closely related to interferon and can bind to STAT1, and it can combine with the interferon regulatory factors to affect innate immunity. TRIM22 also affects the expression of gamma-interferon.
Meditation has a positive effect on these key genes. Therefore, overall, effective meditation will definitely help with recovery from COVID-19 symptoms and vaccine side effects.
The study also compared meditators with patients with mild and severe COVID-19 symptoms. The researchers used red dots to represent upregulated genes related to natural immune and antiviral mechanisms, and blue dots to represent downregulated genes. The genes in meditators were essentially red, compared to many genes expressed in blue (indicating severe impairment) in people with mild and severe COVID-19 symptoms.
Many genes related to virus resistance are significantly upregulated, so in addition to helping with recovery, meditation is also very effective in preventing infections and severe COVID symptoms.
Qigong and Tai Chi Also Cause Changes in Gene Expression
In addition to meditation, studies have found that yoga, tai chi, and qigong can all improve our health at different levels.
A study published in Frontiers in Psychology comprehensively analyzed the effects of yoga, tai chi, and qigong on the human body at different levels, including changes in gene expression, biomolecules, and neurotrophins. And it found that yoga, tai chi, and qigong can have multifaceted effects on antioxidant, anti-aging, and anti-inflammatory aspects, as well as on cancer prevention and immune system enhancement.
Researchers used microRNAs to test and compare the expression of multiple genes in both yoga practitioners and walkers who listened to relaxing music in a natural setting.
The conclusion is that during the short period after yoga practice, 97 genes in the yoga practitioners’ bodies were regulated, with increased expression.
In the reference group of walkers, there were 24 genes with increased expression. That is, 73 extra genes were regulated as a result of yoga practice.
This was not a large-scale study, and only a small number of genes were analyzed. Nowadays, as genetic sequencing technology is becoming increasingly advanced, we hope to see larger analyses of the effects of these traditional health practices on gene expression.

Meditation, Our Natural State.
Meditation is a natural relaxation state of the mind and perhapsthe most important mental exercise to practice during our lifetime. Meditation is actually our natural state and can be practiced throughout the day.
Mindfulness can be practice all the time by simply focusing on the current moment, not yesterday or tomorrow but the present moment, paying attention to what you are doing, being aware of your your surroundings, your thoughts and emotions.
The proper way to meditate is just start by developing a practice over time, but start with what works for you. Sitting in a chair or floor with good posture, close your eyes, take 5–10 slow deep breaths, following your breath. Your relaxing your mind so try not to think of anything. Just focus on a point in the front of eyes. You will find your thoughts drifting to problems just bring the focus back to the point in front of the eyes. The time you meditate is up to you.
This is the first step of Dzogchen, an esoteric tradition of teachings considered to be the highest and most definitive path to enlightenment by Tibetan Buddhism. Buddha found enlightenment with the breath sitting under a tree. So with the will and wisdom, Dzogchen becomes an incredibly profound and effective method for achieving enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. The fundamentals of Dzogchen meditation can be found here, and even may be the most powerful meditation technique.
Make meditation part of your life and you will see the world anew.
We the people are at a crossroads of our spiritual journey. We have been subjected to fear tactics orchestrated by the people who consider themselves as the “elites”. They have trained and groomed many elected government officials, not only in the USA, but throughout the world. The world has been and is experiencing corrupt and stolen elections, especially in the United States for a long time. It is not just democrats but republicans as well. The elites mode of operation is to divide us through our politic, religion, race, and gender just to name a few. They know when we unite, they lose the greatest spiritual battle the world has even known.
In this battle, we need to educated ourselves of our rights in relation to the United States Constitution. This short video provides insight.
1: All Debts contracted and Engagements entered into, before the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.
2: This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.
3: The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

Consider, if you will, the tendency of those who are divinely happy, as you call this distortion, to have little urge to alter or better their condition. Such is the result of the mind/body/spirit which is not complex [that is, those entities existing prior to the experiment of the veil]. There is the possibility of love of other-selves and service to other-selves, but there is the overwhelming awareness of the Creator in the self. The connection with the Creator is that of the umbilical cord. The security is total. Therefore, no love is terribly important; no pain terribly frightening; no effort, therefore, is made to serve for love or to benefit from fear. – Law of One 82.22
Firstly, you must see the possibility/probability that each and every allopathic healer is in fact an healer. Within your cultural nexus this training is considered the appropriate means of perfecting the healing ability. In the most basic sense any allopathic healer may be seen to, perhaps, be one whose desire is service to others in alleviation of bodily complex and mental/emotional complex distortions so that the entity to be healed may experience further catalyst over a longer period of what you call the life. This is a great service to others when appropriate due to the accumulation of distortions toward wisdom and love which can be created through the use of the space/time continuum of your illusion.
In observing the allopathic concept of the body complex as the machine we may note the symptomology of a societal complex seemingly dedicated to the most intransigent desire for the distortions of distraction, anonymity, and sleep. This is the result rather than the cause of societal thinking upon your plane.
In turn this mechanical concept of the body complex has created the continuing proliferation of distortions towards what you would call ill-health due to the strong chemicals used to control and hide bodily distortions. There is a realization among many of your peoples that there are more efficacious systems of healing not excluding the allopathic but also including the many other avenues of healing. Law of One 69.7
Almost half of Americans feel like strangers in their own country, a new opinion poll has revealed. It also claims that the majority of people consider their government as a corrupt institution working against them, with more than a quarter saying it may be necessary to take up arms.
The picture of public discontent was revealed by a poll published on Tuesday by the Institute of Politics of the University of Chicago. Two pollsters, one from each major party, surveyed 1,000 registered voters to study divisions in the country.
The results showed a high level of dissatisfaction across political and ideological lines in the US. In total 49% said they increasingly felt like strangers in their homeland, with the mood more prevalent among Republicans, Independents and conservatives. But even Democrats feel the alienation, with 40% agreeing with the sentiment to some degree.
When asked if they considered the government “corrupt and rigged against everyday people like me,” 56% of respondents said they did. Democrats were the only group where the share of people who disagreed with the statement was slightly larger than those who agreed, by a two percentage point margin.
The statement that “it may be necessary at some point soon for citizens to take up arms against the government” was supported by 28% of Americans, including 38% of conservatives, 36% of Republicans, 35% of Independents, and 37% of those who have guns in their homes. Even among self-described soft Democrats, 19% said armed resistance may be necessary.
While supporters of the major parties distrust their government, they don’t like each other much either, the poll suggested. A resounding 73% of Republicans agreed that Democrats were “bullies” trying to impose their views on others, and 70% said Democrats are “generally untruthful.” When Democrats were asked the same two questions about Republicans, 74% and 69% of them agreed respectively.
Most Americans ‘concerned’ about making ends meet – poll
The divisions however are not yet at a point where people would prefer some form of segregation along political lines, the poll indicated. Americans are overwhelmingly fine with having people from the opposite camp marrying into their families, teaching their kids at school or babysitting for them.
Half of the respondents said the root of the problems with political disagreement in the US is that the other side was “misinformed,” 35% acknowledged that there were just honest differences of opinion.
48% of those polled said news reporters, editors and newscasters were “trying to get their own viewpoint across,” rather than “presenting the facts with as little bias as possible,” a view that was supported by 37%.
Cable news and commenters on social media were perceived as being far more politicized than local news, which 74% trust to report events in good faith. The attitude towards national newspapers like the New York Times was divided across political lines. Just 24% of Republicans perceive them as honest actors, compared to 70% of Democrats.
