There are groups that are working on consciousness and healing practices. One such group is called Consciousness and Healing Initiative (CHI). It is an international group of scientists, health practitioners, innovators, educators, and artists, who forward the transdisciplinary science and real-world application of consciousness and healing practices. Unfortunately you will see it in the mainstream media any time soon, but it is the new medical frontier; self healing.
Another pioneer was the late Dr. Valerie V. Hunt, scientist, author, lecturer and Professor Emeritus of Physiological Science at the University of California. She confirmed electromagnetic energy is the most plentiful constant energy of our universe. It is a part of all structures living and dead, including the atmosphere. We create electromagnetic energies in the atoms of our living cells, which we enhance by the reaction with the atmospheric energy field. We know this expanded energy field as the human aura. Without this biofield life would not exist and there would be only an inner biochemical mix. Dr. Hunt was involved in research that is uncovering the various dimensions involved in the bioenergetic transactions between humans and the environment as they relate to human behaviors, emotions, health, illness, and disease, as well as scientifically quantifying the human aura and the levels of consciousness it contains.
Dr Joe Dispenza, is another researcher who healed himself after breaking 6 vertebrae in his back after being told he would never walk again. Through meditation, visualizations and his belief system, after nine and a half weeks after the accident, he got up and walked, without having any body cast or any surgeries.
Self healing is available to all. It is a process of bringing balance to the body, mind and spirit. It starts being aware of our thoughts, emotions and actions. Over time negative thoughts adversely affects our relationships; our spiritual evolution; and our health. Excessive negative thoughts can lead to severe anxiety or clinical depression, rebellion, and in extreme cases lead to self-harm or even harming others. We are all human but just by being mindful and aware of your thought will begin to bring you into balance. Consider Dr. Hunt’s discover of the Bio field and how that interacts with your emotions and health, perhaps called the Holy spirit by religions. Think and focus your intention on healing during meditation and study Dr Dispenza programs that are available on youtube. Integrate food in your diet that will help your body heal.
Until funding is allocated to mainstream research you will find small groups like CHI working with and understanding energy healing. It starts with you by balancing the entire body, mind and spirit until energy healing becomes mainstream.
Our lives have limited time with limited energy; being in balance is very important. Our focus is on the material aspect of our world; providing for our families, trying to stay healthy, and trying to find our way spiritually. We all have problems and troubles. However, how we handle those situations are entirely in our control. The wonderful thing about our lives is we have free-will and the ability to choose. Keep in mind energy flows where your attention goes.
Balancing involves the body, mind and spirit which includes diet, movement of the body, dealing with negative and positive emotions, and reconnecting to the source of creation. When you reconnect, you will realize the oneness of the creation. God, Tao, Infinite Creator, Universal Mind are one in the same, and is the Source of our existence.
Consider the sun or the earth as spiritual energy, or divine force. The energy that nourishes our body, mind and spirit. Sunlight is something we cannot live without. Light is the food for all life. The human body, according to the doctrine of chromotherapy, is basically composed of colors. Insufficient sunlight will result in low Vitamin D deficiencies, leading to the development of prostate and breast cancer, memory loss, and an increased risk for developing dementia and schizophrenia. Every creature and plant on earth is engulfed in light that affects its health conditions. It is interesting to note the energy of the sun has the colors of the rainbow, like the chakras of the human body.
Grounding, as we all know when we go to the beach, improves sleep and reduces stress. When I go barefoot, I am more relaxed and have a feeling of connection to the earth. Grounding is bare skin to the earth. Performing Chi gong or any meditative practice outside barefoot is an excellent way to cultivate energy as well as connect to mother nature. Grounding is a simple way to prevent and help inflammation with these techniques.
Movement of the body to help the flow of energy can be anything from gardening to walking in nature, if possible, as well as Tai-chi or Chi-gong. Any kind of strenuous workout or exercise is helpful.
Meditation and prayer have been proven to be beneficial. Dr. Andrew Newberg’s research showed how meditative prayer changes our brain by using a 12 minute exercise, called the Kirtan Kriya. It is a type of meditative prayer when practiced daily for 8 weeks will improve cognition and activate parts of the brain that are central to memory.
Food is the fuel for the body so a diet should limit processed foods and sugar. Be thankful for the food that you put into your body. Intermittent fasting is very helpful and can be done by not eating in a 10–24 hours period. Drink plenty of water. Fasting will assist your body’s immune system in fighting off disease and illness.
Our thoughts and Emotions control who we are and what be become. Paracelsus, Father of Modern Medicine said “The spirit is the master, imagination the tool, and the body the plastic material . . . The power of the imagination is a great factor in medicine. It may produce diseases in man and in animals, and it may cure them . .. Ills of the body may be cured by remedies or by the power of the spirit acting through the soul.”
Being in balance means looking within and discovering your true self in your own way as Buddha did. Evaluate your life, determine how you would like to live. Write an affirmation and get in a daily meditation practice. Realize your thoughts, emotions and and actions help create your reality as well as those around you.
In your own way, be of service to others, finds ways that cultivates the expression and love of the Divine, and learn the ways of love and wisdom. Love is the one emotion that can overcome all. It is also the most difficult to understand fully, and certainly the most difficult to achieve. A world where everyone loves one another, as Jesus said, would not only bring balance to the body, but the world.
Nirvana, enlightenment, Christ Consciousness, many words used to describe a state of higher consciousness a state of loving all. Becoming one with all, stepping beyond our own human limits and rising to our spiritual level which has no boundaries. Measly words created by man can barely describe that of which we know and understand, trying to use those same words to describe that of which exists only in faith, only within ones self can never convey it to a level of understanding that will come on an intellectual level. That however is where the fun begins.
It’s called the “veil”. Such as the bride who hides behind the veil to only be exposed at the time of unity – the uniting of two to become one. Same holds true with the “veil” that each of us live behind as a spiritual being living a human experience. The “veil” only to be dropped when we have reached the unity of oneness with our One Creator. When we reach the acceptance of Love, that it is not just what we do or how we feel, it is who we are. Love is all, it’s oneness; it is the very reason for our existence.
Spirituality has been described as that of which is revealed in the silence when looking within ones self to understand the true message given to mankind throughout the ages in sacred texts. Silence…., who hears anything in the silence, isn’t that in itself contradictory? Silence is defined as having no audible sound, to hear nothing according to the dictionary.
Therein lies the challenge, how does one find the silence within? There’s so much noise today, not just on the outside but within us. We worry about finances, love, family, health, politics, we worry about worrying. Our minds don’t stop long enough to hear silence, we are constantly thinking about whats next, family, friends, chores, trips, health and life. Most of us can’t even hear ourselves speak.
In Greek during biblical days, the word silence meant to keep peace. Therefore; when one keeps peace within themselves – within the silence, the truth is revealed. Much like the varying definitions of the word silence, each of us will also have varying definitions as it applies to us. Silence doesn’t always mean a clear, empty mind, sometimes it may just be observed as a peacefulness within. There is no right or wrong way to reflect upon ones own image, peeling back the layers of what we not only hide from others but hide from ourselves.
The search within is a catalyst for most, if not all along the spiritual path. Searching and listening for the silence, waiting for that noticeable change within. The change begins the minute we opt to pursue the path of spirituality, the minute our mind accepts things aren’t as they seem. We notice subtle changes in our thought process. However; for some this is the point that seems to lead to frustration, and for some a hesitation to continue along the path. A feeling of inferiority, a feeling of failure, these feelings are normal, they are a part of the path. That is the voice we hear in the silence, its not telling us to condemn and judge ourselves its showing us the areas we must focus on and bring into balance. We all struggle and stumble within the silence. Struggle to understand the message, and stumbling by judging our self. The silence can become stronger when we have no level of expectation, but simply an acceptance and love for our self. Loving and accepting of ones self is the ultimate catalyst for spiritual growth, without the love of our self how do we love our neighbors as our self?
Being aware of our true nature and the general science of the nature of disease and it’s cure is a great start to become a Spiritual healer. The more we increase our understanding of our true nature, the more healing energy will begin to flow through our body energy centers. Then we will be more likely to heal ourselves, and then perhaps even assist others. A good example is Dr Joe Dispenza, whohimself after breaking 6 vertebrae in his back after being told he would never walk again. Through meditation, visualizations and his belief system, after nine and a half weeks after the accident, he got up and walked, without having any body cast or any surgeries.
We should be aware the healer does not heal others, instead the crystallized healer is a channel for Intelligent energy which offers an opportunity to another person so they may heal themselves. As we begin to discover our true nature, spiritual healing begins with the realization there is a Source, Universal Intelligence of pure sacred energy, that connects us all. Realizing we are co-creators with our thoughts, emotions and actions not only create our reality but those around us, is essential for the healing process.
We are subject to three types of diseases that affect the body, mind and Spirit and all are interrelated. Disease normally occurs during recurring negative thoughts, emotions and actions. We know the law of Karma, we reap what we sow.
The body is affected by bacteria, virus and an array of toxins in our foods and environment. Our bodies suffer from pain that needs physical healing.
Our minds are susceptible to infection by fear, worries, anger, greed selfishness, jealousy just to name of few, which requires mental healing.
Our spirit is haunted by the disease of ignorance born of cosmic delusion which cause man to forget their perfect divine nature and focus on the physical world. Ignorance creates imbalances between body, mind and spirit.
Our body, mind, and spirit have a life force we can identified as electromagnetic energy or energy. Science claims that the heartcan be detected and measured several feet from the body. In eastern cultures, this energy is known as chi or qi, ki, prana, and chakras.
are the bodies seven energy centers. The healing process begins with clearing blockages and balancing our energy centers. The first Chakra, at the base of the spine is known as the red-ray is basic and fundamental. The second Chakra, or orange-ray is the emotional or personal energy center. The third Chakra, or yellow-ray is what we call the ego. The fourth Chakra, the heart chaka, known as the green-ray, is our understanding of universal love or compassion. The fifth Chakra, known as the blue-ray, is our understandings of ourselves and our communication with others. The sixth Chakra known as the pineal or indigo-ray center. Blockages in this center may experience a lessening the flow of intelligent energy for healing.
The more energy flowing through our energy centers the more active the pineal gland. Energy flows when we love others as we love ourselves; love nature; be of service to others. We should be mindful that our thoughts, emotions and actions create our reality and those around us.
message to us was we all have the ability to heal if we believe what his message of love and enlightenment and look within ourselves to find the answers. In when Jesus said “Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.”
When we discover our true nature the healing of the spirit begins. When we open our eye of wisdom by meditation, contemplation and prayer the physical and mental agonies are dispelled by the love and light of Infinite Intelligence. The eye is mentioned inwhen Jesus said, “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.”
We all have the ability toourselves, but do we have the will and desire. It starts with our thoughts, emotions and actions. Negative thoughts affect our body, mind and spirit, adversely affects our relationships and stops our spiritual evolution. Excessive negative thoughts can lead to severe anxiety or clinical depression, rebellion, and in extreme cases lead to self-harm or even harming others. Over 300 million people are affected by worldwide while around 800,000 people die from suicide globally each year and that is 1 death every 40 seconds.
Our perception and understanding of God is based on our religious beliefs and upbringing. The belief system we are born into is normally where we stay. It will vary from person to person.
I try to imagine and comprehend the magnitude of the Infinite Divine Energy we have named God. I abandoned the concept of the judgemental God of the Abrahamic religions years ago and consider God’s Divine Energy encompasses all and love as the life pulse. We are all players in the game of life and may have a bigger impact on our world than we will ever know. It is always a challenge when reading sacred texts, realizing man has has somehow tampered with most. The purpose is either one of control or an effort to explain something more clearly. Either way we are here to figure it out for ourselves and the answer may be within each of us, just a heartbeat away.
I remember I was having doubts about my spiritual journey, and just wanted confirmation, something to give me a sign to continue. So one day last year in 2018, there was little or no chance of rain. During meditation I just wanted some evidence because sometimes the spiritual path is a lonely journey. I asked for rain, any amount for that day, just to let me know I was not alone. Afterwards, about 30 minutes later, I was sitting outside. Nothing was really happening. Then clouds started to form, which was not a big deal. Then a little thunder and few drops of rain started coming down. I felt indescribable joy. It really was happening. Then it started to rain and it rained five inches in 30-45 minutes. The news reported a cloudburst happened in a one square mile area and I was at the center.
We live in physical and metaphysical worlds, inseparable yet most of the time we realize only the physical. How many times have you spoken to God, perhaps in a prayer or meditation or just a discussion, and something happened based on that conversation. At first we may rule it a coincidence, but we have to remember we are an inseparable part of the Universal Consciousness . We are limited in the physical world by our five senses; see, feel, hear, taste and smell. Our metaphysical world is unseen or under the veil. Awareness of the metaphysical world, the unseen world, is helpful in understanding the Divine Energy that encompasses all. Our physical world is shaped by the positive and negative energy of our thoughts, emotions and actions. When we look at the physical world in isolation, we miss much of what is happening not only to the universe but within ourselves. Perhaps that is where we find God, that Divine Spark or energy in each of us; part of the Divine Universal Energy, Universal Consciousness.
God is just a heartbeat away and you can have a conversation anytime you choose. Trusting God is trusting yourself. Realize who you are; know you are part of this creation in your every thought, emotion and action.
Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East is an easy read six volume set by Baird T. Spalding. It is a treasure for anyone’s spiritual journey and the truth seeker. It is about a research party of eleven scientists that visited the Great Masters of the Himalayas in 1894 for three and half years. The Masters, as referred to by the scientists, assisted in the research and translation of the records contained in these books answering many questions we have today. The books provide experiences of the expedition.
The Masters talk about Buddha, who represents the Way to Enlightenment. They clearly set forth that Christ is Enlightenment, or the Christ Consciousness. The Christ Consciousness is the Christ light, the divine spark of every individual, the light of every child that is born into the world. They explain how Jesus walked on water and fed the masses. They provide new light into the teachings of Jesus.
The Masters explain the mystery of thought vibrations, how we can create our reality by our thoughts and how we can heal ourselves. They explain the nature of cosmic energy, the nature of God and the metaphysical world.
The research in these volumes provides answers to questions most have been seeking living in this illusion. We do not have to wait until we die to discover salvation, but we can discover it while we are alive, now in this lifetime. If you enjoy this research and find in useful in your quest to understand our purpose, I would encourage you to tell others and share this invaluable information. The first three volumes are available free in pdfs for your reading pleasure. Below is the audiobook of the first three chapters.
Research has suggested that we are wired with spiritual brains and how meditative prayers actually changes the brain. Dr.is a neuroscientist who studies the relationship between brain function and various mental states. His research suggests we have spiritual brains, with a feeling of connectedness to something greater than ourselves, developing intense beliefs about God. Using Dr Newberg measured brain activity of Franciscan Nuns while they were engaged in a type of meditative prayer. It showed measurable effect on the brain providing evidence that meditative prayer has an effect on the brain. Science has proven, what many of us already believed, meditation has a profound impact on our brains by meditative prayers.
, author of and Resurrection. He investigated a specific case of the Tibetan Buddhist, Khenpo A Cho and his practice of the “Rainbow Body, “. In 1992 and at the age of 74, Cho devoted himself to retreat practices. He recited more than 400 million of the mani-mantra, Om mani padme hum. Over and over he recited and promoted the recitation of the Long Life Prayer of the Protector of the Snow Ranges and the Heart prayer of the Enlightened Activities pervading space related to his holiness the Dalai Lama and Avalokiteshvara.
The day, before his death, in 1997, Khenpo responded to young and old people of his entourage with great pleasure and without hurry he gave instructions on what is to be done in the future. The next day he ate very little, showed no signs of bodily sickness or fatigue. At noon, he laid on his right side, turned his head to the north and face to the west, reciting the six-syllable Mantra, Om mani padme hum, and died.
According to Father Tiso, his face immediately became youthful, smooth and pinkish all signs aging disappeared. A fragrance smell was not only around the body but outside the house. Above the house five colored rainbow lasted for days witness by many including monks and father Tiso. Father Tiso also reported the afternoon of the day of his death, just before dark, a light similar to that of sun rays was shining for a long time from the east.
His body remained under a cloth and each day it would get smaller and smaller. On the seventh day there was manifested the stainless rainbow body the viajar body..
Other reports regarding the rainbow body state that when a person dies, rainbows suddenly appeared in the sky and after several days their bodies disappeared. Sometimes fingernails and hair were left. Sometimes nothing was left.
Father Tisoresearch and investigation known as the Rainbow Body that have known for years. Some believe these stories reflect upon the resurrection of A rainbow light has been witnessed by thousands of people after death. Attaining ‘ is discussed in Zen texts, as well as Zoroastrian, Christian, Manichean, Muslim, Bonpo, and of course, Vedic texts, among others. Attaining the ‘light body’ is for everyone with ample proof that it exists now and in ancient times.
Early Christianity spoke of a Divine spark within each of us andsaid we are from the light. In the Gospel of Thomas (50) Jesus said, “If they say to you, ‘Where did you come from?’, say to them, ‘We came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord and established itself and became manifest through their image.’ If they say to you, ‘Is it you?’, say, ‘We are its children, we are the elect of the living father.’ If they ask you, ‘What is the sign of your father in you?’, say to them, ‘It is movement and repose.'”
“Strange is our situation here upon this earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose.” Albert Einstein
The placebo effect has been proven. Our mind, our belief system, actually controls our pain and can heal many ailments we suffer. In short, the placebo effect relies on your body’s own chemicals, released in response to or in accordance with your mental or emotional expectations or beliefs. You have the ability to heal yourself, all you have to do is sincerely believe. engage and energize the power within. Our thoughts, emotions and actions have a huge impact on our lives more than any of us ever imagined. We live in the material world, not realizing the unseen forces of metaphysical world undetected by the five senses. Our unruly mind does not help. Most of us realize we are energetic beings who do not comprehend the power within. Much like newborn babies, we are just discovering there may be something much more to ourselves than just a physical body. Jesus even said ” Truly, truly, I tell You, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. He was telling us to believe and understand his true message and we could perform the same good deeds.
We have the ability but where do we start? Mystical and psychic abilities have been depressed and discouraged for centuries and most are reluctant to even discuss. We have been made to believe psychic ability was something from the dark ages, something negative.
Witches were burned at the stake for practicing so-called magic and of spells of invocation of spirits, all psychic abilities. Channeling, another psychic ability has been going on since biblical days. Parts of the Old Testament says kill the messenger and the New Testament says do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. This list of psychic abilities have been attributed to real-world people and there are different types. World governments have been recruiting operatives with psychic abilities for years.
We all have some degree of psychic ability. One ability most have and may not realize it is knowing something and your not sure how you know; known as discernment. Call it instinct or intuition we have the ability if we pay attention. A psychic has the the ability to perceive information hidden from the normal senses through extrasensory perception (ESP). To me, it is the development of our third eye, our sixth sense. The sixth sense is the 6th Chakra of the 7 energy centers, running from the base of our spine to the top of our head. Another message Jesus left us was he said “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your vision is clear, your whole body will be full of light.” Light is energy and once your vision is clear, you understand the power within, the kind that can heal not only yourself but others.
, MD Director of Research, Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital has being doing research and suggest that Human beings appear to have spiritual brains; brains that are capable of feeling deeply connected to something greater than themselves and that we can develop intense beliefs about God. His research reveals the fascinating relationship between the universal spiritual urge and the intricate workings of the human brain. He did of Franciscan Nuns while they were engaged in a type of meditative prayer called centering prayer. The brain scans showed many different changes, including changes in he parts of the brain that are involved in the sense of self, providing evidence that meditative prayer has a measurable effect on the brain.
Otheralso suggests meditation may physically change the brain and body and could potentially help to improve many health problems and promote healthy behaviors. Science has established 12 benefits of meditation that can be easily obtains with daily practice.
Buddha said “Meditation brings wisdom; lack of mediation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.”
We all have the potential to heal ourselves and develop our God-given abilities. With positive and loving thoughts, emotions and actions, we create our reality. Daily meditation provides wisdom. A great start to understanding our true selves.
Changing old habits that do not serves us in our endeavor is probably the most difficult task to overcome, so one should begin gradually. This is about transformation, changing bad habits that have been ingrained for years into beneficial ones. Your thoughts, emotions and actions create your reality. Media can be your friend or foe, so you should realize what you watch or read, affects you. Adding more positivity in your life is a plus. Qigong, yoga, Tai Chi exercises may increase your positive energy and your overall well-being.
A daily meditation practice is probably the single most important aspect of any spiritual journey. It is just you and One Infinite Intelligence or God. Daily meditation turns your attention away from distracting thoughts and unhealthy habits and focuses on the present moment, the power within each of us, that divine spark.
Healing is not just about the body, but the mind and spirit. It about our connection to God and how to make positive life changes in order to connect. It is a journey, and as humans we make mistakes. We simply learn and find our way back to our path. Eventually you will look back and be glad you took that first step. With wisdom and compassion, we love others unconditionally, be of service to others, nurture and care for all of nature and becoming one with our Infinite Creator, developing that true power within.
The Kundalini life force has been known as eastern concept for centuries and just beginning to be of interest in the west. Every human being has the ability to awaken our divine Kundalini, that lays dormant at the base of our spine until it is aroused. It is depicted as the rising serpent. Most people never feel it and never know it is there. There may be a brief flash of light, lasting only a few seconds or longer or it could last for minutes, even hours. In a very few people, perhaps one in one thousand, this energy becomes aroused, and activated. This can be a positive event or it can be unsettling and disruptive, depending on whether you intended to aroused your kundalini or by accident.
It is an important concept to grasp that human body has and generates Edgar Cayce correlated these seven spiritual centers with the many “sevens” in the biblical book of revelations and with the seven endocrine glands in the body.. The body has sophisticated network of energy pathways, known as . The seven spiritual , known as energy centers are located from the base of our spine to the top of our head, following the spine.
The base of the spine is the lower or negative pole of the energy field. During meditation and if the kundalini is activated, it flows through the meridians pathways, drawing universal energy into itself and move upward to be met and react to the positive spiraling energy moving downward called kundalini awakening. When we are conscience of this pathway, we can identify where our energy is and where it can go, not just physically, but spiritually. During kundalini awakening, your vibratory level changes significantly. Your awareness alters, your vibration increases, and you literally see things from a state of higher consciousness. During intense rising experiences, people can become aware of psychic phenomena outside the limits of their normal awareness. For example, people who do not normally have psychic abilities may have spiritual visions. Perhaps that is why the human body is the considered sacred, it contains our divine spark, our essence, as we wander through this confusing and distorted world.
It interesting how the medical symbol to your right, used by our medical profession is similar to the awaken Kundalini power symbol, coiled like a serpent at the base of the spine, ready to spring up to manifest itself through the chakras.
The bible refers to a story that Jesus took and applied it to Himself, John 3:14: “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.”
Was Jesus referring to the serpent in a the Garden of Eden, the story of our descent of the life force of our soul into physical life, separating us from God and causing us to leave our companionship with our Creator in the garden. Moses raises this serpent up again and this act gives him power and eventually the ability to meet God on the Mount Sinai. Jesus raised the serpent energy to everlasting life, so does that mean each of us must raise our life force, to its rightful, original level of vibration and vitality. Is this how we are born again, to give birth to our spiritual self?
Perhaps now is the time for west and east concepts to come together for the betterment of all humanity.
