Spiritual Growth

Meditation, being of service to others, love God with all your heart and love others as you love yourself are some steps that could help your spiritual growth. Our world today provides more than enough catalyst and opportunities to grow spiritually. Pay attention to your thoughts, speech and actions. Are they positive or negative?

Spiritual growth is why we are here. It is a lifetime endeavor of seeking the truth and to know our true-selves. We live in a world that is not what it seems and our physical and metaphysical worlds are inseparable. Spiritual growth is listening and trusting our higher- self. We all have guides or angels ready to assist, if we pay attention. We all have the gift of discernment or intuition, we just have to learn to trust ourselves.

Daily meditation, even if it is just five minute will help calm the mind and in time, provide a path the the higher self. There is no one method of meditation better than another. Buddha said “Meditation brings wisdom; lack of mediation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.

Once we realizes we are a divine spark living in divine energetic field, beginning at conception we begin to grow spiritually. We can experience the energy fields of nature including plants, animals and humans. We feel more love and compassion to all living things. As we grow, so will our awareness, purpose and understanding. The Chinese sage Lao Tzu “ A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.”

We are here for a purpose and there is no better time than now to figure that out.

Spiritual Healing

As we increase our understanding of our true nature,  we begin to realize there is a  divine-love-quotes-8-17-best-images-about-love-on-pinterestSource,  a Universal Intelligence of pure divine energy, that connects us all. Science may call it a quantum or biofield, described as “a field of energy and information, both putative and subtle, that regulates the homeodynamic function of living organisms and may play a substantial role in understanding and guiding health processes.” Science also tells us that the heart electromagnetic energy  field be detected and measured several feet from the body.

More recently, Dr. Valerie V. Hunt, scientist, author, lecturer and Professor Emeritus of Physiological Science at the University of California confirmed electromagnetic energy is the most plentiful constant energy of our universe. It is a part of all structures living and dead, including the atmosphere. We create hqdefault (4)electromagnetic energies in the atoms of our living cells, which we enhance by the reaction with the atmospheric energy field. We know this expanded energy field as the human aura. Without this biofield life would not exist and there would be only an inner biochemical mix. Dr. Hunt was involved in research that is uncovering the various dimensions involved in the bioenergetic transactions between humans and the environment as they relate to human behaviors, emotions, health, illness, and disease, as well as scientifically quantifying the human aura and the levels of consciousness it contains., all you have to do is realize the power within you.

The Abrahamic religions, Christians, Jews and Islam may refer to this quantum or biofield as the Holy Spirit while while Taoist refer to chi or qi and the Dao or the way. tetragrammaton-ineffable-name-of-godHindu refer to prana and chakras while the Buddha included prana under a different name, one that is also used in yoga. The words is virya, and it means vitality, or life energy.

Consider all the different labels of this divine energy by science and religion the same. When we realize we are co-creators by our thoughts, emotions and actions then the healing process can begin.

We are all subject to three types of diseases that affect the body, mind and Spirit and all are interrelated. Disease normally occurs during 68395567_2628362577247376_4371379888091824128_nrecurring negative thoughts, emotions and actions. We know the Law of Karma, we reap what we sow. The body is affected by bacteria, virus and an array of toxins in our foods and environment. Our bodies suffer from pain that needs physical healing. Our minds are susceptible to infection by fear, worries, anger, greed, selfishness, jealousy just to name of few, which requires mental healing. Our spirit is haunted by the disease of forgetting our true nature which cause man to forget their perfect divine nature and focus on the physical world. Ignorance creates imbalances between body, mind and spirit.

Chakras  are the bodies seven energy centers. The healing process begins with clearing blockages in these energy centers and connect to the quantum field. Energy flows with love. When we love others as we love ourselves; love nature; be of service to others and placeboare mindful of our thoughts, emotions and actions, the healing process will begin. Prayer, meditation, contemplation and gratitude is part of the healing process.

Jesus   message to us was we all have the ability to heal if we believe his message of love and enlightenment and look within ourselves to find the answers. In  John 14:12 when Jesus said “Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.

Stumbling in the Silence

busymind2

Nirvana, enlightenment, Christ Consciousness, many words used to describe a state of higher consciousness a state of loving all.  Becoming one with all, stepping beyond our own human limits and rising to our spiritual level which has no boundaries.  Measly words created by man can barely describe that of which we know and understand,  trying to use those same words to describe that of which exists only in faith, only within ones self can never convey it to a level of understanding that will come on an intellectual level.  That however is where the fun begins.

theveil

It’s called the “veil”.  Such as the bride who hides behind the veil to only be exposed at the time of unity – the uniting of two to become one.  Same holds true with the “veil” that each of us live behind as a spiritual being living a human experience.  The “veil” only to be dropped when we have reached the unity of oneness with our One Creator.   When we reach the acceptance of Love, that it is not just what we do or how we feel, it is who we are.  Love is all, it’s oneness;  it is the very reason for our existence.

Spirituality has been described as that of which is revealed in the silence when looking within ones self to understand the true message given to mankind throughout the ages in sacred texts. Silence…., who hears anything in the silence, isn’t that in itself contradictory?  Silence is defined as having no audible sound, to hear nothing according to the dictionary.

silence

Therein lies the challenge, how does one find the silence within?  There’s so much noise today, not just on the outside but within us.  We worry about finances, love, family, health,  politics, we worry about worrying.  Our minds don’t stop long enough to hear silence, we  are constantly thinking about whats next, family, friends, chores, trips,  health and life.  Most of us can’t even hear ourselves speak.

In Greek during biblical days, the word silence meant to keep peace.  Therefore; when one keeps peace within themselves – within the silence, the truth is revealed. Much like the varying definitions of the word silence, each of us will also have varying definitions as it applies to us.  Silence doesn’t always mean a clear, empty mind, sometimes it may just be observed as a peacefulness within.  There is no right or wrong way to reflect upon ones own image, peeling back the layers of what we not only hide from others but hide from ourselves.

peacewithin

The search within is a catalyst for most, if not all along the spiritual path.  Searching and listening for the silence, waiting for that noticeable change within.  The change begins the minute we opt to pursue the path of spirituality, the minute our mind accepts things aren’t as they seem.  We notice subtle changes in our thought process.  However; for some this is the point that seems to lead to frustration, and for some a hesitation to continue along the path.  A feeling of inferiority, a feeling of failure, these feelings are normal, they are a part of the path.  That is the voice we hear in the silence, its not telling us to condemn and judge ourselves its showing us the areas we must focus on and bring into balance.  We all struggle and stumble within the silence.  Struggle to understand the message, and stumbling by judging our self.   The silence can become stronger when we have no level of expectation, but simply an acceptance and love for our self.  Loving and accepting of ones self is the ultimate catalyst for spiritual growth, without the love of our self how do we love our neighbors as our self?

Growing Spiritually

Spiritual growth is why we are here. It is a lifetime endeavor of seeking the truth and to know our true-selves. We live in a world that is not what it seems and the physical and metaphysical worlds are inseparable. There is a vibrating constant energetic motion 0a9b9a69447b265abd17d51c39eabe50within all things called Qi or prana, depending on your culture . We are energetic beings radiating positive and negative energy with our thoughts, emotions and actions creating our reality, and our unruly minds control it. There are distortions and confusions that add to the unruliness. We have been programmed since birth regarding our belief systems. There are 7 billion people in this world radiate energy and we as a collective, created our world.

Spiritual growth is listening and trusting your higher- self. We all have guides or angels if we pay attention. We all have the gift of discernment or intuition, we just have to learn to trust ourselves.

Death and the After life

Death and the after-life is something we will all face eventually.   Our limited understanding is guided by oursivananda-33019 belief system;   what we subconsciously learned and consciously taught.  It is the school of life, with countless confusion and distortions with so many belief systems and religions.   It may be as simple as to what you believe will be your reality.

Death is the release of our life force in order to continue our spirit journey.  The ancient chinese described qi as “life force”,  Hindu called it  prana, Christians and Jews refer to it as the soul and the Muslims call it Rūḥ, our immortal self. Gnostics called it the divine spark;   spirit, essense and the list goes on.

Our life force is who we are, energy within our bodies, feeling all the aches and pains as we age, physically and emotionally.  We are trying to understand our purpose.  We learn and practice tai chi, chi gong, yoga, walk, jog and meditate to cultivate our life force just to face the daily challenges and BxGKxMSIIAA6IXMchoices. We look around and wonder if this it, why are we here!  Based on the Law of One our purpose is to learn the ways of love with wisdom, and each of us have our own special lessons to learn.  At the end of our life we have a “life review”. If you attained 51 percent positive, you will leave 3rd density and advance to the the 4th density. Seven densities , realms, dimensions or heavens are terms used in religious and mythology ancient texts.

If you do not make the 51 percent positive then you will have to redo 3rd density.  Your reincarnation   can be anywhere in the universe.   Even  Emanuel Swedenborg, the  eighteenth-century mystic and spiritual explorer, spoke of the purpose of death.  He inspired some the world’s greatest minds and souls like Helen Keller, D.T. Suzuki, and Ralph Waldo Emerson,to name a few.

Law of One also provides insight on death which states, ” the process of the physical 1309-choose-to-see-death-spiritual-quotes-to-live-bydeath is as we have described before: one in which there is aid available and the only need at death is the releasing of that entity from its body by those around it and the praising of the process by those who grieve. By these means may the mind/body/spirit which has experienced physical death be aided, not by the various perceptions of careful and repeated rituals.”

Near Death experiences  (NDE)  also provides insight and some sort of understanding of the afterlife.   People that have experienced NDE sometimes describe a floating maxresdefault (6)sense of freedom from pain and of complete wellbeing;  or they had unusual abilities, such as being able to see walls and also see through them, and being able to “hear” the unspoken thoughts of the people nearby;  They sometime say they experienced a “life review” while at the same time, they re-viewed, and experienced being on the receiving end of, all their actions throughout life; Some went beyond the light, seeing cities of light and knowledge. When they chose to return, it was because of a love connection with one or more living people. The other half say they didn’t choose to return: They either were told or made to return, or they were just suddenly “back” in their bodies.

Physical death releases our life force; our final escape from this realm.   It is  interesting to 16cc381c8b27c7abd1b7cbf79c39a86cnote how emotions around us  affect even the death process. Our thoughts, emotions and actions create our reality not only in this world but also the next. Many seek gnosis,  the knowledge of spiritual mysteries,  to better understand our situation. Esoteric knowledge of spiritual truth was held by the ancient Jews, Christians and Greeks.  They believed it was  essential to salvation.

What stands out for me to be essential is the emotion of love, the emotion that conquers all things.  Also our intentions regarding our thoughts, emotions and actions.  If we fear death, a negative emotion, then death may be exactly that.  That is why we are here to learn about love and the wisdom to use it.

Our ancient teachers had much wisdom to say about death and immorality.

Jesus said in the Apocryphon of John, “I am returning to the place for which I came, If you wish to follow me, you may. But you will not enter the Kingdom until you have perfected yourselves.”
Krishna said in the Bhagavad Gita, ” When the self leaves the body it will go whatever the attention is focused on the time of death. Therefore remember me at all times. When your mind absorbed in Me you will come to Me”
Lao Tzu said in the Tao Te Ching, ” Those who are not attached to life will not fear death. They are more fortunate than those who give life too much meaning. “
“One who has lived wisely does not fear death.”  The Buddha

Being more positive than negative with your thoughts, emotions and actions; being aware of your intention regarding your thoughts, emotions and actions;  do not get attached to the material world; and live your life with wisdom; all teachings from our Masters to not only assist us with our life journey, but our impending death and afterlife.

Conversation with God

Our perception and understanding of God is based  on our religious beliefs and upbringing. The belief system we are born into is normally where we stay.   It will vary from person to person.

I try to imagine and comprehend the magnitude of the Infinite Divine Energy we have named God.  I abandoned the concept of the judgemental God of the Abrahamic religions years ago and consider God’s Divine Energy encompasses all and love as the life pulse. We are all players in the game of life and may have a bigger impact on our world than we will ever know. It is always a challenge when reading sacred texts, realizing man has has somehow tampered with most. The purpose is either one of control or an effort to explain something more clearly. Either way we are here to figure it out for ourselves and the answer may be within each of us, just a heartbeat away.

I remember I was having doubts about my spiritual journey,  and just wanted confirmation, something to give me a sign to continue.   So one day last year in 2018,  there  was little or no chance of rain.  During meditation I just wanted some evidence because sometimes the spiritual path is a lonely journey. I asked for rain, any amount for that day, just to let me know I was not alone. Afterwards, about 30 minutes later, I was sitting outside. Nothing was really happening. Then clouds started to form, which was not a big deal. Then a little thunder and few drops of rain started coming down. I felt indescribable joy. It really was happening. Then it started to rain and it rained five inches in 30-45 minutes. The news reported a cloudburst happened in a one square mile area and I was at the center.

We live in physical and metaphysical worlds, inseparable yet most of the time we realize only the physical.  How many times have you spoken to God, perhaps in a prayer or meditation or just a discussion, and something happened based on that conversation. At first we may rule it a coincidence, but we have to remember  we are an inseparable part of the Universal Consciousness . We are limited in the physical world  by our five senses; see, feel, hear, taste and smell. Our metaphysical world is unseen or under the veil.  Awareness of the  metaphysical world, the  unseen world, is helpful in understanding  the Divine Energy that encompasses all.  Our physical world is shaped by the positive and negative energy of our thoughts,  emotions and actions.  When we look at the physical world in isolation, we miss much of what is happening not only to the universe but within ourselves. Perhaps that is where we find God, that Divine Spark or energy  in each of us; part of the  Divine Universal Energy, Universal Consciousness.

God is just a heartbeat away and you can have a conversation anytime you choose. Trusting God is trusting yourself. Realize who you are; know you are part of this creation in your every thought, emotion and action.

Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East

Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East is an easy read six volume set by Baird T. Spalding. It is a treasure for anyone’s spiritual journey and the truth seeker.  It is about a research party of eleven scientists that visited  the Great Masters of the Himalayas in 1894 for three and half years.  The Masters, as referred to by the scientists,  assisted in the research and translation of the records contained in these books answering many questions we have today.  The books provide experiences of the expedition.

The Masters talk about Buddha, who represents the Way to Enlightenment. They clearly set forth that Christ is Enlightenment, or the Christ Consciousness. The Christ Consciousness is the Christ light, the divine spark of every individual, the light of every child that is born into the world. They explain how Jesus walked on water and fed the masses. They provide new light into the teachings of Jesus.

The Masters explain the mystery of thought vibrations, how we can create our reality by our thoughts and how we can heal ourselves.  They explain the nature of cosmic energy, the nature of God and the metaphysical world.

The  research in these volumes provides answers to questions most have been seeking  living in this illusion. We do not have to wait until we die to discover salvation, but we can discover it while we are alive, now in this lifetime.    If you enjoy this research and find in useful in your quest to understand our purpose, I would encourage you to tell others and share this invaluable information.  The first three volumes are available free in pdfs for your reading pleasure. Below is the audiobook of the first three chapters.

Jesus Secret Sayings 20, 21 and 22

The Gospel of Thomas presented  114 secret saying of Jesus,  discovered in 1945 in  a cave in upper Egypt with many other Gnostic manuscripts.  The text have been untouched by man for  nearly 2000 years, perhaps for good reason.  Some of the references  and parallels sayings can be found in the New Testament.    Jesus’ message is  different from the church teachings.  Instead of sin and repentance, it is love, enlightenment and look within and know yourself.  In  the very beginning of this wonderful text, we are told whoever understands and learns the meaning of these saying  will not experience death. Jesus spoke in parables with a metaphysical and even mystical  understanding with deeper meaning than we have been taught or even understood.  Jesus was a Master, a teacher, telling us we all have the power within us known as the Christ Consciousness.    Even in the New Testament  Jesus tells us we can do the same works as he, even greater.   In John 14:12, he said  Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

In saying (20) The disciples said to Jesus, “Tell us what the kingdom of heavens resembles.” He said to them, “What it resembles is a grain of mustard seed. It is smaller than all other seeds, but if it falls upon plowed terrain it puts forth an enormous foliage and is a shade for birds of heaven. A similar parable can be found in Matthew 13:31-42 .

Consider our faith or belief system is  represented by the mustard seed. It comes to us from Universal Intelligence through the Christ within, the Christ Consciousness. We are all born with this great seed. As we experience life, it is up to each individual to cultivate and grow this great power within by accepting love and compassion into our lives. Many may refer to this great power as the Holy Spirit, perhaps the emotions of Infinite Intelligence.  All of our lives are full of trial and tribulations, but those experiences are our way to grow, much like the mustard seed. We call it God in expression, through the Christ in us. In saying 3 Jesus said When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will know that you are the sons of the living Father.   But if you do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty, and you are poverty.

In saying (21) Mary said to Jesus, “Whom are your disciples like?”
He said, “They are like children who have settled in a field which is not theirs. When the owners of the field come, they will say, ‘Let us have back our field.’ They (will) undress in their presence in order to let them have back their field and to give it back to them. Therefore I say, if the owner of a house knows that the thief is coming, he will begin his vigil before he comes and will not let him dig through into his house of his domain to carry away his goods. You, then, be on your guard against the world. Arm yourselves with great strength lest the robbers find a way to come to you, for the difficulty which you expect will (surely) materialize. Let there be among you a man of understanding. When the grain ripened, he came quickly with his sickle in his hand and reaped it. Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Perhaps Jesus is describing the human condition, most  unaware they are the divine spark of God or that mustard seed.  Humanity as a whole accepts what they are told, provoking mostly negative thoughts and emotions.  We all have to be on guard or we will be robbed of our divine right. If we believe difficulty will come, then it will materialize. Again our thoughts, emotions and actions create our reality. Those who understand this think independently will not fear death and are often taken young because they are ready.  In the New Testament verses  in  Luke 12:39-40Luke 11:21-22, Matt 24:37-44Matt 12:29Mark 3:27,  and Mark 4:26-29,  are similar sayings in the New Testament.

(22) Jesus saw some infants at the breast. He said to his disciples: These little ones at the breast are like those who enter into the kingdom. They said to him: If we then be children, shall we enter the kingdom? Jesus said to them: When you make the two one, and when you make the inside as the outside, and the outside as the inside, and the upper side as the lower; and when you make the male and the female into a single one, that the male be not male and the female female; when you make eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then shall you enter [the kingdom].

Jesus is saying every child is born perfect. Not only here but in the New Testament in verses Luke 9:46-48, Luke 18:15-17, Matt 18:1-4, Matt 19:13-15, John 3:1-10, Mark 9:33-37,   and Mark 10:13-16.   Every child born has the spark or seed of the Christ Consciousness and is perfect. Only the thoughts of  humanity can lower that perfection.

So why does the Church teach us we are born sinful when Jesus teaches we are born perfect? Original sin is an Augustine Christian doctrine that says that everyone is born sinful. This means that we are born with the urge to do negative things and to disobey God. It is an important doctrine within the Roman Catholic Church.   The Church also teaches that baptism removes original sin which stains all souls since the fall from grace in the Garden of Eden. It appears the Church teaching is contrary to Jesus’ teaching.

The remaining part of the saying is addressing our thoughts, feelings and actions which should be positive, loving and compassionate. Each female has a masculine side and each male has a feminine side. When we understand we are not female or male we have truly found our true selves and have cultivated our Christ Consciousness. It is a true power we all have within each of us.  We all have the ability to cultivate and grow our  Christ Consciousness as well as our Buddha nature.  Both men were telling us what has been lost over the centuries,  that we and only we can find that divine spark and be just like them and be one with God.

The Law of One confirmed that belief, that we are all one and even tells us that if we are 51 percent positive in all our thoughts, emotions and actions we will ascend to our next journey, what many call heaven.  There was also discussion about Jesus.  Jesus was quick to anger and at a young age he killed a young boy by simply touching him.  He was so  unsettled by this experience, he began a lifetime of seeking and searching. Jesus studied  day and night in its own religious constructs,  Judaism and was learned enough to be a rabbi at a very  young age. Around the age of thirteen he left his family and walked to many other places seeking further information. This went on sporadically until the entity was approximately twenty-five, at which time it returned to its family dwelling, and learned and practiced the art of its earthly father. When Jesus had become able to integrate and  synthesize all experiences,  he began to teach others of the things of a worthwhile nature.  Apparently all his disciples were crucified  except John, who is thought to have died in 100 AD of old age.

The Church has distorted Jesus message and teachings and that is why it is important for each to read and decide for themselves the truth.  There is truth in the Bible and other sacred texts but one must use discernment, our God given gift and be aware of the methods used to control us.   There are other Masters and teachers in the world today that are able to heal and do the same feats as Jesus.  We can as well,  but we have to believe and reprogram ourselves in our own way. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind

The Ultimate Diet

We have  heard of different fad diets such as south beach, vegan, ketogenic, paleo, and intermittent fasting to name just a few. Fasting has been of   spiritual  importance  in most major religions, including Hinduism, Christianity, Islam and Judaism.  Mahatma Gandhi referred to fasting as the “the truest prayer.” He conducted fasts throughout his life for religious and political reasons.

Interestingly, I discovered a group called the Breatharians. They claim to stop eating and live off prana, a Sanskrit word that translates to “life air” or “life force, ”  also known as qi from the Chinese traditions. It has been reported that two people have proven under scientific scrutiny and video surveillance that they can live without food or water for periods of time defying the laws of physics.  This 8 minute YouTube video about Yogi Prahlad Jani, who has not taken food or water for 70 years, a  phenomena that many find hard to believe.

According to Israeli author Ray Maor, once Breatharians have trained their body to absorb this energy there is no longer any dependency  on food. Many of them continue to taste food for enjoyment, but do not need it for survival.

Like everything today, each has to evaluate and determine the truth for themselves.   Apparently breatharianism is about our life force also known as the source, the field, matrix or God.  Science  identifies the energy as a  electromagnetic energy field.   The sun radiates electromagnetic waves and sunlight is something we cannot live without. Light is the food for all life on earth. The human body, according to the doctrine of chromotherapy, is basically composed of colors.  We believe  insufficient sunlight will result in low Vitamin D deficiencies, leading to the development of prostate and breast cancer, memory loss, and an increased risk for developing dementia and schizophrenia. We have been told to wear sunscreen to protect ourselves but what is really happening?

We are light beings with chakras or energy centers and the energy of the sun has the colors of the rainbow. Every creature and plant on earth is engulfed in light that affects its health conditions. Spiritual healing and our health go hand in hand.

Can we live without food? Personally, I would have a hard time but there may be some that can. I also believe there are no limitations to our abilities once we calm our unruly minds and realize our thoughts, emotions and actions create our reality.   The  world is not as it seems and certainly not what we have been taught.  Our  physical and metaphysical world are inseparable and we all have the ability to tap into the power within.  Believe!!!
