The Power of Thought

Have you ever considered how we have created this great illusion with our  thoughts, emotions and actions. We are energetic beings and have unknowingly 10653328_10152758960998781_1168788790174634000_ncreated our own reality as well as those around us. Worldwide, there are over 7 billion of us, thinking, talking, emotional, acting and reacting, all generating positive and negative energy. To complicate the issue, as humans, we have  approximately  50,000-70,000 thoughts a day, most with unruly minds.

When a person thinks, speaks or acts negatively, or by gestures, criticizing, judging or controlling, energy is not sent only to the person intended, but into the world. The personal energy  affects everyone around even though they may not be consciously aware.  We all have experienced that moment when someone walks 558146-Buddha-Quote-Mind-is-everything-What-we-think-we-becomeinto our space smiling or crying, and how this affects the emotional  vibrations. Sporting events are a prime example of how emotions affect the masses.  A study in the Journal of Clinical Psychology studied the effects of worrying on performing a task. Thinking negatively about your problems not only doesn’t help solve anything, it actually makes it harder for you to think of a helpful solution.

On the other hand,  thinking positively generates energetic positive emotionsaffecting images negativeall of those around us and even the world.  Traditional views suggest experiences of positive emotions signal well-being and  guide positive behavior in the moment.  Positive emotions, although fleeting, have more long-lasting consequences. Positive emotions transform people for the better, providing a spiritual path for the future.

Mainstream and social media creates news, provoking thought, creating emotions  resulting in actions and reactions, fueling our monkey mind.  Energy  prevails everywhere,  in beings and objects including mother earth, creating our reality. The effects are not seen immediately, but can be defined as a garden, slowing growing and taking hold in whatever soil we have prepared.

b78b2c17eaa60aded0242c5923d3b9feBuddha said our lives are products of our mind. What we are today is a result of what we thought yesterday. What we think today influences what happens to us tomorrow. Our entire lives are products of our mind.

Lao Tzu said the world is transformed by those who love all people, just as you love yourself.

Jesus said in the Gospel of the Egyptians, You receive no benefit from loving only those who love you. Great benefits comes from loving those who hate you.

Perhaps it is time to recognize we are a product of our society which we created.  Since we created it,  we are the only ones that can change it. We can begin our journey by being kind and loving. With love in your heart, be aware of your thoughts  and be of service to others in your own way.  This is your journey, along with 7 billion others, and it starts with love. Whatever you have in your heart you will become.

Our Power Within

Over 5000 years ago the ancient Chinese masters of esoteric healing understood everything is composed of energy they called Chi or Qi. They observed there is a oneness and wholeness in all existence connected to one body. Traditional Chinese Medicine is primarily based on the understanding of the transformation of Qi.

Qi is vibrating in constant energetic motion within all things. It is our essence called by many different names in different cultures of the world. The ancient Chinese masteredall-religions-one3 specific techniques to balance the body’s energy in order to live in harmony with the earth. Qi within the body in the form of energetic pools I refer to as Chakras. From Chakras, the body’s essence or life force energy, flows in streams from the body’s vessels, channels and collateral systems.

The Chinese believe Qi has mass, the same as smoke or vapor, and can manifest within the body through three primary levels.

(1) Physically as matter through the body’s cells and tissues in the form of marrow, blood and body fluid.

(2) Energetically as Resonant vibration through heat, sound, light and electromagnetic fields.

(3) Spiritually as Divine light, energetically manifesting through subtle vibrations which extend through infinite space.

The ancient Chinese believed that all life emerged from the Dao’s eternal existence and would someday dessove back into its infinite light. The Tao, the “Way” can be translated both as a spiritual approach  to the Divine, or as the infinitely subtle realm and presence of the Divine underlying all things. According to ancient Chinese esoteric teachings, the energetic vibration and light pertaining to the Tao, the Divine is imprinted in every particle and that whatevers exist of creation is simply an expression and manifestation of the Divine.  The Law of One mentions vibration 293 times  and  light 465  , expressed  in the same concept as the ancient Chinese but with much understanding  and detail how  our  body mind spirit works.

Qi has two main expressions, an outward and inward flow known as yin and yang. This can be cultivated with  Chi gong, yoga, Tai Chi exercises  which may increase your positive energy and your overall well-being.

Once a person wakes up to the divine energetic field they begin to experience the energy fields of nature including plants, animals and humans. As you grow, so will your awareness, your purpose and understanding. You will realize the physical world and metaphysical world are inseparable.

We are energetic beings just beginning to understand the power within each of us. This short video will provide some understanding of the power of Qi, but I would not recommend trying it yourself.

Our Essence/Spirit/Soul

Our essence, the spirit and soul, is pure energy, a source from Infinite Intelligence that encompasses the universe that forever has been a mystery for the human race.  Our higher selfessence is much like a baby, trying to learn to see, sit up, crawl,  walk, and talk while developing the 6th sense.  It is drawn to the beauty of nature, the thriving life of seen and unseen worlds. It looks at others and sees itself with feelings of compassion, love and discernment.  It feels sorrow as it sees the world being ravaged, polluted and destroyed; the pain and suffering of the people, plants, animals and mother earth. It understands we are one community with different cultures, ideas, and beliefs, all different, but all spiritually connected.

But our essence is just an infant, beginning to realize the infinite possibilities. Telepathy, telekinesis, clairvoyance, discernment, remote viewing and psychic abilities are just some beginning to be understood and practiced.  Mankind  even has Global Consciousness project uses binary codes to measure levels of global conscious.   Even ourB135RbXCcAIZp5p thoughts create reality by negative or positive emotions causing action and reaction. Over 7 billion people have unknowingly created our world of today simply by thought.

Our essence  has been elusive of our understanding since the beginning of time. Humanity has been fascinated the concept of spirit/soul through religion and belief systems. Our essence , also known as spirit, soul, rul, chi, prana, chakras, divine spark or consciousness  is in every culture.  Each culture has a belief system, established rituals, rules, explanations and concepts based on their understanding how our essence guides us through this life into the next. We go to churches, synagogues, temples, monasteries, mosques and other places of worship to understand our spirit. Others do not attend organized religion but practice spirituality daily.

Our essence is communicating with us, all we have to do is pay attention.  Daily meditation, contemplation, prayer and thanksgiving brings our essence  closer to the source, our Creator.

Call it mystical and elusive; it has been debated, discussed, and revered, by every Religion and belief system in the world. Science cannot explain or prove the energy exist, encourages those to be non-believers. Description of near death experience excites those who believe. It is free-will, all part of this grand game, we call life.

The Way, The Tao, the Tao Te Ching

The Tao Te Ching is probably one of the wisest ancient books, reported to be written by the sage named Lao Tzu over 2500 years ago. It about living in unity with nature. With  81 chapters, it should be savored page by page, line by line, like good poetry-read, pondered and reread again.  One of the things I enjoy is comparing wisdom teachings of ancient sages and teachers.  Chapter  47  states: images (5)

Without going outside his door, one understands (all that takes
place) under the sky; without looking out from his window, one sees
the Tao of Heaven. The farther that one goes out (from himself), the
less he knows.

Therefore the sages got their knowledge without travelling; gave
their (right) names to things without seeing them; and accomplished
their ends without any purpose of doing so.

download (3)During ancient times as today, people believe they can gain the truth by visiting , churches, synagogues, temples, monasteries, mosques and other sacred places. Followers of Tao recognize that spirituality comes from within instead of searching the material world. The Way,  Infinite Intelligence also known as God,  cannot be comprehended by looking out a window or to travel any particular place. To master what is within each of us, one has to realize the power within. One has to know themselves to gain intuitive understanding and discernment. Jesus, Buddha and Krishna provided  their  teachings.

In the Gospel of Thomas  Jesus said “If those who lead you say to you, ‘See, the kingdom is in the sky,’ then the birds of the sky will precede you. If images (3)they say to you, ‘It is in the sea,’ then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty.”

Buddha “ the Way is not in the sky; the Way is in the heart”

Krishna “With one’s heart focused on yoga and recognizing all things are equal, then you will see the self within- within all beings”

images-73.jpgTo me,  the message is know myself,  to look within and realize there is  far more than I can ever understand, a spirit of divine mystery.  Call it  consciousness, awakening, or divine spark,  it is pure energy that cannot be measured by science. We are spirits of  divine mystery, with unlimited power.    Unfortunately we have been buried in the material world,  making it difficult  to focus or even be aware of this potential power.  Infinite Intelligence sends guides, angels,  messengers, dreams and nature to get our attention.  When you pay attention, then the awakening begins.

Love is of all passions the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart and the senses.

The Native American Spiritual Journey

Native Americans had much love and wisdom for mother earth and a spiritual way of images (54) chief josphlife. They shared a common belief the earth is a spiritual presences that must be honored, not mastered. Unfortunately, western Europeans had different idea. To them the Americas was a beautiful but savage land to use as they saw fit.
Unlike many traditions, the spiritual wisdom of the native American is not found in a set of scriptural materials, but was part of the fabric of daily life and experience. I find it amazing how these 20 concepts the Native Americans left for us to live by is the same messages other great teachers, sacred texts and religions.

The Native American Code of Ethics

  1. Rise with the sun to pray. Pray alone. Pray often. The Great Spirit will listen, if you only speak.
  1. Be tolerant of those who are lost on their path. Ignorance, conceit, anger, jealousy and greed stem from a lost soul. Pray that they will find guidance.
  1. Search for yourself, by yourself. Do not allow others to make your path for you. It is your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.
  1. Treat the guests in your home with much consideration. Serve them the best food, give them the best bed and treat them with respect and honor.
  1. Do not take what is not yours whether from a person, a community, the532458_10151316305801368_751690132_n wilderness or from a culture. It was not earned nor given. It is not yours.
  1. Respect all things that are placed upon this earth – whether it be people or plant.
  1. Honor other people’s thoughts, wishes and words. Never interrupt another or mock or rudely mimic them. Allow each person the right to personal expression.
  1. Never speak of others in a bad way. The negative energy that you put out into the universe will multiply when it returns to you.
  1. All persons make mistakes. And all mistakes can be forgiven. images (40)
  1. Bad thoughts cause illness of the mind, body and spirit. Practice optimism.
  1. Nature is not FOR us, it is a PART of us. Animals, plants and other living creatures are all part of your worldly family.
  1. Children are the seeds of our future. Plant love in their hearts and water them with wisdom and life’s lessons. When they are grown, give them space to grow.
  1. Avoid hurting the hearts of others. The poison of your pain will return to you.
  1. Be truthful at all times. Honesty is the test of one’s will within this universe. 8075827301_8a71fdac97
  1. Keep yourself balanced. Your Mental self, Spiritual self, Emotional self, and Physical self need to be strong, pure and healthy. Work out the body to strengthen the mind. Grow rich in spirit to cure emotional ails.
  1. Make conscious decisions as to who you will be and how you will react. Be responsible for your own actions.
  1. Respect the privacy and personal space of others. Do not touch the personal property of others – especially sacred and religious objects. This is forbidden. 3b6f2341f9be56ec513da5b22529b265--native-americans-love-this
  1. Be true to yourself first. You cannot nurture and help others if you cannot nurture and help yourself first.
  1. Respect others religious beliefs. Do not force your belief on others.

We may differ in our faith, religion, and culture, yet we all live together on the same mother Earth.  We are only custodians and not owners of mother Earth, not its conquerors nor its destroyers.  Be true to yourself by being true to nature. We are one.

Chief Seattle said, “All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth.”
