Jesus Secret Sayings 18 and 19

As we continue our journey exploring the Gospel of Thomas, 114 secrets sayings of Jesus, consider the possibility that Jesus’ message was different from what we have been taught. Perhaps one of his messages was we could do the same works as he performed and we were like him. We simply have to trust in him and believe his message.  In   John 14:12.  Jesus said “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.”

Jesus had special abilities even as a young child,  and unlike us,  was able to  develop his abilities  at a very young age. According to the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, and one of the earliest Infancy Gospels believed to be written around 150 AD, Jesus did experience difficulties.   The Gospel deals with Jesus birth to the incident in the temple found in Luke 2:40 . When he was 5 years old, he commanded the waters of a brook to flow into pools by speaking a word.  In another story Jesus makes 12 sparrows out of mud and told them to fly and they did. Other  stories depict a not so positive Jesus.  He withers one child and kills another on the spot when he bangs into Jesus shoulder.  Jesus also kills a new teacher but brings him back to life.  There are many  others stories available in the  Infancy Gospel of Thomas,  found  at the Nag Hammadi Library containing all the gospels discovered in 1945.

Jesus spoke in parables and metaphors; in an esoteric way.   His 114 sayings in the Gospel of Thomas are believed to be his words; untouched by scribes and church fathers for nearly 2000 years.  Now they are available for your  interpretation.

According to the Gospel of Thomas,  the basic religious experience is not only the recognition of our own divinity but specifically the recognition of one’s origin; the light as in saying 50.  In order to return to our origin, we should discover who we are by looking within ourselves and experience the kingdom of light, peace and life.

So let’s explore the sayings 18 and 19 of Jesus secret sayings. The Gospel of Thomas saying  (18) The disciples said to Jesus, “Tell us how our end will be.” Jesus said, “Have you discovered, then, the beginning, that you look for the end? For where the beginning is, there will the end be. Blessed is he who will take his place in the beginning; he will know the end and will not experience death.”

Perhaps  Jesus was telling us when we are born, we are positive divine energy, the spirit or soul. While on earth we are in school and this is our learning ground.  Shortly after we are born we have forgotten who we are and if we remember while we are alive and know our true selves, we will not experience death. In saying 3 Jesus tells us to know ourselves.  Consider the phrase “will not experience death”. Could this be referring to the cycle of reincarnation?  When we finally remember who we are and learn our lessons, we do not have to do it  again.

Many mystics, religions and other belief systems believe in the cycle of reincarnation, including   Jainism,Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism. The idea of reincarnation is found in many ancient cultures, and a belief in rebirth/metempsychosis was held by Greek historical figures, such as Pythagoras, Socrates, and Plato.  The Essenes were a religious sect during the time of Christ that lived away from the towns. Instead they lived in simple communities. The Essenes practiced the seventh day sabbath, believed in reincarnation and nonviolence to all living creatures.  Some believe Jesus studied and was part of the Essenes.

(19) Jesus said, “Blessed is he who came into being before he came into being. If you become my disciples and listen to my words, these stones will minister to you. For there are five trees for you in Paradise which remain undisturbed during summer and winter and whose leaves do not fall. Whoever becomes acquainted with them will not experience death.”

This is a very difficult saying, but again the phrase, “will not experience death.”  Perhaps Jesus meant blessed is the spirit before it is born in the  human body and when we understand and follow his teachings,  we will be guided to discover  our true self and find our way home.  The tree of life is mentioned in many different ancient and modern cultures, as well as religions and spiritual practices.  The world tree of life is a symbol of manifestation in many cultures as it holds the gateway to knowledge about the true nature of reality and oneself.  The five trees that do not lose their leaves may represent the leaves do not die and provide a path and guidance to enlightenment. The picture to the right is a comparison of a fingerprint and the truck of a tree.

The number five may have even more significance. According to Hinduism, the number five is a symbol of the physical body and the planet earth. Ether is the first element, the essence of God.  Air is the next element, fire  is the third element, water is the fourth element and earth is the fifth element. He human body is made of all the elements. In the Bible, the number 5  is significant because of the creation of man, with  five fingers, five senses and five toes. In Buddhism there are  “5 Skandas or Aggregates”,   form, feeling, sensation, volition and consciousness. In Judaism, the first 5 books of the Torah are used for the bible code.  In Islam,  the five pillars are shahadah, witnessing the oneness of God and the prophethood of Muhammad are regular observance of the five prescribed daily prayers, paying zakah, fasting during the month of Ramadan, and performance of the hajj at least once in a lifetime.

In the Law of One session 15.12, we are instructed  how  to balance our energy centers, the first five Chakras.   First is to understand and accept the energy, second is emotions, third is ego, fourth is learn love and fifth apply wisdom.

According to the Gnostic view, the tree of life has a strong connection to the serpent or kundalini awakening. Essentially there is an energy coiled up at the base of the spine that will travel up the spine toward the brain igniting all of the energy pathways or chakras of the body on its way.

Perhaps each person should become acquainted with the signals that resonate with them for guidance in life.  The five trees of guidance could be; (1)  love and know the Creator with all your heart, (2) Our thoughts  (3) emotions; (4) know yourself  and (5)  power within, our spirit.   The keys for spiritual growth are within each of us.   We are all spiritual beings; our journey to seek the truth is arduous,  with many distractions and distortions. We are all different, and seeking the truth should be in your own way and time.

Next time our journey will continue with the Gospel of Thomas starting with the saying 20.

Know Yourself

Religion teaches us rituals, tradition and belief systems. Have they misinterpreted the message regarding  looking within yourself to find God by not teaching the concept?  In Luke 17:21 Jesus said “nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”  There are many interpretations of that one verse.

To know yourself may seem simple, but do we really know ourselves.  Our lives are connected to  families and friends  living in the physical world of  media, religion, governments, corporations, banks and education. We are living it everyday,  all day, every week, month and year, year after year. That is all we know. We have been made to believe we are advanced technologically,  but in reality,  we are mere children, playing in the world playground.  We have world information at our fingertips, to study, to learn and inspire.   In the meantime we are watching our home, mother earth,  being destroyed, and even allowing it by remaining silent. Are we the meek?  Have we have lost our way?  Perhaps we have forgotten who we are, why we are here and where we are going.  Even though your  part in this great illusion may seem small, you have no idea of the importance of your presents on this planet at this time in our history.

There are 7.7 billion of us on this planet and within each is a Divine Spark, Spirit or Soul  waiting to be awaken and find their Way.   Most disregard this concept simply because it is not something the  five senses nor scientific evidence can detect.  Our emotions, feelings and thoughts create our reality more than we will ever realize. Many seekers have found the Way to the metaphysical world that exists right before our eyes. Their studies included studying and contemplating the many ancient teachings and recent information available to us today.

One of the many teachings are the Secret Teachings of Jesus found in the Gospel of Thomas,  discovered in 1945 with other ancient texts.   Jesus’ message was of love and enlightenment and not of sin and repentance as taught by the Church. In his sayings, Jesus tells us to look within, to know ourselves; to seek the truth; we are from the light; Recognize what is in our sight, and that which is hidden from us will become plain to us. For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest. He had many messages of his 114 sayings first interpreted in 1959 and more translations in the 70’s.

The wisdom teaching of  Buddha, who could have been King but chose the Way as the path of seeking enlightenment by looking within. His teachings provide much insight into mindfulness  and meditation techniques putting our lives into perspective. He also tells us to look within, to know ourselves.  Buddha said, “Seeking within, you will find stillness. Here there is no more fear or attachment-only joy.”

The Tao Te Ching is probably one of the wisest ancient books, reported to be written by the sage named Lao Tzu over 2500 years ago. It is about living in unity with nature, the Way and teaches us to look within. One saying from the Tao Te Ching, “He who knows the Way does not let it show. Neither does he seek to be rewarded by anyone. Those who know the Way find their reward within themselves.”

The fundamental teaching of Hinduism  is that a human being’s basic nature is not confined to the body or the mind. Beyond both of these is the spirit or the spark of God within the soul. In the Katha Upanishad,  Krishna said ” God allowed man to look outward, but in seeith the outer the inner ignored  Those who see the eternal, turn their gaze within.”

Rumi was a 13th-century Sufi Mystic and  Persian poet, jurist, Islamic scholar and theologian. His quotes are transforming,  based upon love, hope, inspiration, and awakening.  Rumi said “Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart.”

The Law of One, is  a channelling event that occurred in 1981–84. It is  recorded and documented in a  question and answer format taking over 3 years.    It has been said it was the greatest spiritual message since Jesus. It reveals our purpose, the consequences of our behavior and what even  happens at death.  It has intense teachings and one is of our  energy channels, Chakras, how to  balance ourselves. To balance is to know ourselves, and to know ourselves is  our foundation.

To know yourself is the message from our teachers. The language that the Divine Matrix recognizes prayer as imagining it already happened instead of wishing for  it to  happen. Remember our thoughts, emotion and actions create our reality.  Be surrounded by your prayer as if it already has been answered. Ask without judgement whether right or wrong or ego and ask from the heart and feel the results as if it already has happened .

You do not have to be of any particular religion or any religion. Open your heart and seek within. To know yourself is unique to each of us. This uniqueness evolves as we seek the truth with love and service to others.  When you know yourself,   there will be no more fear, only understanding of your purpose.   Meditation, contemplation, study, thanksgiving and prayer are tools for the great journey.

Meditation, the Tool for Transformation

In the last blog, The Most Sacred, we explored our spiritual realities. Instead of  listening and following what others tell us,  perhaps it is time to seek and discover  the truth for ourselves by looking within.  Meditation, with its countless benefits, is our tool to explore the Way. Jesus said in the Dialogue of the Savior, left out of the Bible, “When I came among humanity, I opened the door to the Way. I showed you the path that you must follow. You will find it within yourselves.” And Buddha said six hundred years earlier, “Before you set foot on the path, master yourself.” Krishna said, around 3500 BC, ” Those find the Way are those who have love and forgiveness in the hearts, and Lao Tzu said in 5oo BC, “the Way is empty, the Way is full. There is no Way to describe what it is. Find it within yourselves.”

Meditation has been around for thousands of years and is based on Hindu Scripture, as a religious practice. Buddha said “Meditation brings wisdom; lack of mediation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.”
It is even mentioned in the Bible, Psalm 1:1-2, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; (2) but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.”
In Joshua 1: 8 states “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it.”
The Acts of Peter XXI,   also omitted from the bible, “Give ear; withdraw your souls from all that appears but is not truly real; close these eyes of yours, close your ears, withdraw from actions that are outwardly seen; and you shall know the reality of Christ and the whole secret of your salvation.” In  Matthew 6:6 ”  But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

But what is left out is how to pray or meditate. Perhaps Jesus’ message in the Gospel of Thomas can assist in our journey of seeking the truth.   In the Gospel of Thomas,   (48) Jesus said, “If two make peace with each other in this one house, they will say to the mountain, ‘Move Away,’ and it will move away.” The one house is the body, and  the two are mind and spirit. A very similar saying in (106) Jesus said, “When you make the two one, you will become the sons of man, and when you say, ‘Mountain, move away,’ it will move away.”

The two are  mind and spirit, thought and emotion.   From a spiritual perspective, Meditation is our  Gateway, our connection to Universal Intelligence.  Jesus was telling us how in the Gospel of Thomas, omitted from the bible. When we can make our thoughts and emotions one,  we will be transformed and will able to move mountains.

We all have a divine power within. It is up to each of us to look within, know ourselves and understand our purpose. Our tool is meditation, contemplation, prayer and seeking the truth.  This video may provide additional insight for those seeking the truth.

The Most Sacred

Have you ever considered what is the most sacred of our world?  Most  believe it to be an object such as a temple, building, monument, church, synagogue  or mosque or  high-ranking religious leaders.  A structure or object  is just that and our religious leaders are simple human beings, just like us.

The most sacred is every human being on earth. Within each of us lies a divine light, the essence of Infinite Intelligence, waiting to be awakened . Our bodies are the temple. Every human being is of infinite worth and at some point in time, each will come to that realization.

Sacred ancients texts and mystics called it the divine spark. Christians and Jews call it the soul, Muslims rooh, Hindu atman and there are many other names used through the centuries. Perhaps we are at a place  when it is time to realize who we are, why we are here and where we are going.

We live in a material world full of confusion and distortion. It is the world of positive and negative energy, good and evil, continually fighting for the most sacred prize, our essence. It divides us through our beliefs systems by judging, condemning and threats of forever punishment by not following a certain belief system.  It  divides  us when we should be united  with love, compassion, wisdom and helping one another.

There is much to learn from each other with an open heart and mind. Instead of listening to what others tell us,  perhaps it is time to seek and discover  the truth for ourselves.  There is much truth in religions but no religion has all the truth.  It is why we are here, to learn.

The Law of One in 4.17  says our purpose is to learn. First, the mind must be known to itself. Second, understand the concept of the balance between love and wisdom in the use of the body in its natural functions. And the third is spiritual  and contact with Intelligent Infinity.

Buddha taught us meditation, how to silence the mind, to know ourselves. Meditation is God’s gift, our gateway to find our way home. Jesus taught us love, to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Both Jesus and Buddha teach us to look within ourselves. Buddha tells us the way is not in the sky but is in the heart. Jesus also says the kingdom is within you and the one who knows himself will find it. Other teachers provide the same message.

There is nothing  more sacred on the planet than the divine light within each of us,  waiting to be awakened.

I Shall Give You What Has Never Occurred in the Human Mind

In saying 17 of the Gospel of Thomas,  Jesus said, “I shall give you what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what has never occurred to the human mind.”

Can you imagine Jesus’ disciples trying to understand what he was saying.    Even today one has to understand the estortic meaning and contemplate the verse.  A similar verse is found in  Isaiah 64:4 .    He proclaims, “Since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. “

Isaiah was a Hebrew prophet who was believed to have lived about 700 years before the birth of Jesus.  Born in Jerusalem, Israel, he was said to have found his calling as a prophet when he saw a vision in the year of King Uzziah’s death. It is said Isaiah prophesied the coming of the Messiah Jesus Christ.

You will also find a similar verse  in  1 Corinthians 2:9  “However, as it is written: What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived — the things God has prepared for those who love him.”  Did Paul take the saying from Jesus or from Isaiah?     We will never know.

Consider Jesus’ message in saying 17  as a spiritual message suggesting the world is not as it seems. There is  another world  in our midst.  A spiritual world that cannot be detected with our five senses;  it is available to us now while we are alive; we no longer have to wait until death.  The path is love,  seek the truth, and know yourself. In saying 5,   Jesus said  “Know what is before your face, and what is hidden from you will be revealed to you. For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor anything buried which will not be raised up!”

We all possess the Christ Consciousness within. Jesus’ message tells us how we all could tap  into divinity.  No one can describe or even comprehend Christ Consciousness. Jesus’ metaphors and parables  are providing the way, not just in the Gospel of Thomas but also verses that can be found in the New Testament and Gnostic literature, the Koran and Eastern Mystics and other texts around the world.   Our purpose is to evolve spiritually and to seek the divine  within ourselves and then we will know God.

” I have stilled my restless mind, and my heart is radiant: for in
Thatness I have seen beyond That-ness. In company I have seen
the Comrade Himself. Living in bondage, I have set myself free: I have broken away from the clutch of all narrowness.
I have attained the unattainable, and my heart is
coloured with the colour of love.”   Kabir  Mystic Philosopher

Consider Jesus’ saying 17 is to tell us that he has a secret, so perhaps we will seek to know the secret.  Would we have even known of the 114 secret sayings if not for the discovery of Gospel of Thomas and other text in 1945.  At at time when the world was beginning its transition into the largest world population, nearly 7.7 billion, and for those that follow numerology,  those numbers may mean something.  From a metaphysical standpoint,  and according to the Law of One,  we live and a multidimensional universe. We are the third density out of  seven densities,  under a veil so we cannot see.

In session  73.13  of the Law of One, “Questioner: What was the orientation with respect to this type of communication for the one known as Jesus of Nazareth?

Ra: I am Ra. You may have read some of this entity’s workings. It offered itself as teacher to those mind/body/spirit complexes which gathered to hear and even then spoke as through a veil so as to leave room for those not wishing to hear. When this entity was asked to heal, it oft times did so, always ending the working with two admonitions: firstly, that the entity healed had been healed by its faith, that is, its ability to allow and accept changes through the violet ray into the gateway of intelligent energy; secondly, saying always, “Tell no one.” These are the workings which attempt a maximal quality of free will while maintaining fidelity to the positive purity of the working. “

Perhaps the Discovery of the Gospel of Thomas, 114 the  secret sayings of Jesus should be considered the second coming of Christ, his true message.  But we can only image.  This is a beautiful song from the original Movie soundtrack.

I felt Jesus’ message  in saying 17  would be a good way to end this year.  I would like to thank all those who subscribed  and  follow Inspiration. 2019 will be another year of challenges for each of us but, the biggest challenge is knowing ourselves. Meditation is a great start, if only for a few minutes a day; a time simply for yourself.  Meditation is the gateway and no one can do it for you but you. Remember assistance is available, all you have to do is ask.   Just know what is in front of your face and you will see what is hidden.

Imagine 7.7 billion people radiating love, and how the positive vibrations would change our world.  May all of us bring love and compassion into 2019. Happy New Year everyone!!!

Enoch, a Missing Link?

The Book of Enoch was probably one of the most influential book used by writers of the bible but was omitted in the  Old Testament and the Tanakh, the Jewish Bible.  It was one of  many ancient sacred texts omitted from the Bible that are available to us today . The Book of Enoch was first discovered in the 18th century and most assumed it was penned after the beginning of the Christian era because it had quotes and paraphrases as well as concepts found in the New Testament. However, the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls found at Qumran in 1946,   proved the book was in existence long before Jesus  and believe to be written sometime in the 2nd or 3rd Century BC.

Much of the ideas written down would influence later thought across nations. Religious leaders. Secular leaders. Focus on China, India, Greece and SW Asia.

The time period from  800 BC-200 BC was   known as the Axial age.  It was a time in our history  when the most creative and influential  thinking in the  world, amazingly occurring in four separate civilizations; West Asia, South Asia, East Asia, and northeastern Mediterranean. Some of the Sages included Zoroaster, Jeremiah, Isaiah, The Buddha, Confucius, Heraclitus, Socrates, plato and Aristotle , Varhamma Mahavira,  and Pythagoras. In different ways, they responded to an array of spiritual ideas and concepts; the emergence of the self-consciousness. It was early in our history when humans beings began to reflect on individual existence, and the meaning of life and death.

The Book of Enoch  was once cherished by Jews and Christians alike. It is read in certain Coptic Christian Churches in Ethiopia. There is  evidence Jesus not only studied the book, but also respected it highly enough to allude to the doctrine and content. And, there are over one hundred comments in the New Testament which find precedence in the Book of Enoch.

One of the interesting aspects of the Book of Enoch for me, starts in Chapter 6. ” And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters.
2 And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men.”   It is the story of the fallen angels and is virtually identical with Genesis 6.1-2. In the Book of Enoch, we get their names and many other details. The angels, referred to as the watchers, were the children of the heaven. Some saw and lusted after human women and said to each other that they should choose wives from among the children of men. At 7.2, he says they had giant sons and were able to easily dominate Enoch’s people.  This Youtube video may provide evidence Giants did exist according to this article,    When Giants Roamed the Earth.

“A knowledge of the existence of something we cannot penetrate, of the manifestations of the profoundest reason and the most radiant beauty – it is this knowledge and this emotion that constitute the truly religious attitude; in this sense, and in this alone, I am a deeply religious man.” Albert Einstein

The Law of One references higher level entities more sophisticated that  we can use as guides, if we pay attention. The Law of One also mentions quarantine , possibly because of incidents of the Giants to protect us from further intrusions.

No one really knows why the Book of Enoch was not included in the bible.  There is only  speculation. What is important though is, they are  available now like so many other sacred texts that were not so-called “canonized “by the Church authority.

Sacred ancient texts labeled as heresy or not approved by the Church, certainly peaks my interest. The discovery of thirteen ancient texts called “codices” were discovered in Upper Egypt untouched by scribes in 1945. They were translated in the 1970’s and are known as the Nag Hammadi Library. Scriptures such as the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Philip, and the Gospel of Truth were found, and labeled as Gnostic Gospels thought to be destroyed during the early Christian struggle to define “orthodoxy.”

One should contemplate why once treasured ancient sacred texts are being revealed during our time,  providing a different understanding than church teaching. In the Gospel of Thomas verse 5, Jesus said, “Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you. For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest.”  Gospel of Thomas is 114 secret sayings of Jesus  revealing a different understanding and teaching than church fathers have taught us.  Next post will include the discussion of the sayings of Jesus,   “I shall give you what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what has never occurred to the human mind.” (Saying 17 Gospel of Thomas).

The Book of Enoch and the Book of the Secrets of Enoch are at your fingertips.

What is God?

What is God,  the age-old question and it certainly has been mine.  Since the beginning of time,  as we understand it, man has struggled with the God concept. Most of us have chemistryour core beliefs from our childhood;  others seek to understand through contemplation, reflection, meditation and prayer; all have a  desire to have  a personal relationship with God.

God is  known by many names and according to religions of the world, in order to know God,  we should follow their beliefs, rules and rituals.  Based on my childhood and how I was taught about the Bible, God would be on a throne judging us for our behavior and our purpose was to worship God.  Each of us have our own imaginations and beliefs about God, mostly from our childhood.

Through the centuries, different religions with  different Gods making our 10635869_10152764748543781_2989172388846140521_nunderstanding of  God even more confusing.  I always believed there was only one God, just called by many different names.  Furthermore, in Judaism and Christianity alone,  there is much confusion for me.  Yahweh, is the God of the Old testament and Jewish Tanakh, is known as the God of the Israelites.  The name was revealed to Moses as four Hebrew consonants (YHWH) called the Tetragrammaton.   Consistent with Old Testament narratives,  Yahweh or Jehovah was regarded as the stern creator God who justly punishes humanity for disobedience.

The Gnostics referenced Yaldabaoth, the old testament god as a  ‘false god of this world’ and was known for his evil  deeds.  They believed the god of the Jews was the true devil who claimed for himself the title of ‘creator god’ and inverted the roles of good and evil through deception, presenting himself as the ‘benevolent father’ of mankind and slandering the Chakra symbolSerpent of wisdom as ‘the devil’ and ‘enemy of man’. This accusatory inversion began with the creation of the Christian Bible at the end of the 1st century and has deceive many generations throughout the millennia.  It should be noted our medical  community uses a staff medical imaginesor rod with a snake curled around it, call the Rod of Asclepius, the ancient mythical god of medicine .

In the Law of One, Yahweh is mentioned 19 times  and provides quite an  in-depth detail about Yahweh’s involvement on earth. The Orion Group, the negative entities of our universe also plays a role in what happened in the old testament as well as today. Perhaps In Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”  Was that God,  Yahweh or Yaldabaoth?   Who was Jesus talking about when the Jews said  Abraham was their father.   Jesus said in John 8:44   “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father The-Ra-Material-The-Law-of-One-quote-love-service-to-others-heart-chakra-spirituality-consciousness-3of lies.”

Some Gnostic groups saw Jesus as being sent by the supreme being, to bring gnosis or knowledge to the Earth. The Law of One referenced Jesus  22 times  and said  “This entity was desirous of entering this planetary sphere in order to share the love vibration in as pure a manner as possible.”

Now let’s look at the New testament and how the church leaders constructed the concept of God. The Trinity  a formal doctrine and foundation of the Christian faith, the father, Jesus and the Holy Ghost, meaning one God in three.   The term trinity is not found in the Bible. The only reference of the three in the bible is  Matthew 28:19 after Jesus resurrection.  “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Of course we all know how easily this could have been added by a church father or scribe.

The formal doctrine of the Trinity was the result of early church fathers attempts to explain the Christian God. It was first used by Tertullian at the close of the 2nd century. It was discussed, debated and finally clarified as divinity of the spirit and  affirmed at the Council of Constantinople  in 381.  However scholars today  generally agree that there is no doctrine of the Trinity as such in either the Old or New Testaments.  The Trinity was a way church fathers could cff285a056c19538eb9d01c42865898cexplain Jesus as the son of God if not God. A search of the Nag Hammadi Library  of the Father, son and the holy spirit did not come up with any results.  With the possibility of the corruption of the message of  two major religions, perhaps it is time to pause,  and seek the truth in our own way.  Jesus was the messenger of love and in the message he was telling us what the church fathers have failed to teach.

In John 10:34, Jesus tells the Pharisees that it is written in the Law that “you are gods”. He is quoting from Psalm 82:6 where it says, “I said you are gods, sons of the Most High. All of you.”

In John 14:12  Jesus said , “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”

bring forth what is in youIn the Gospel of Thomas Jesus said in saying 3,   If your leaders tell you, “Look, the kingdom is in heaven,” then the birds of heaven will precede you. If they say to you, “It’s in the sea,”  then the fish will precede you.  But the kingdom is inside you and it is outside you. When you know yourselves,  then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living father. But if you do not know yourselves,
then you dwell in poverty and you are poverty.

The Gnostics believe that within each of us is a divine spark, a part of God.  Some may  call it soul or spirit.  Regardless of what label man uses, God is a Divine Universal Energy within each of us waiting to be awakened by our acknowledgement  by seeking the truth.

According to the Law of One , we are on earth to learn the ways of love, compassion, wisdom and be of service to others. We get as many opportunities as we need to learn the required lessons. If not, we die and do it again until we get it right. The big problem for us when we do it again, we do not remember anything from our previous lives, unless you’re a child,   and then you may remember for a short period before Lao-Tzu-3.jpgforgetfulness sets in.

Regardless of the number of past lives, God, or the Great Universal Energy never leaves and is just waiting for us to discover the power within. I cannot emphasise the importance of the  a recent discovery in 1945, 114 secret sayings of Jesus known as the Gospel of Thomas and 50 other Gnostic texts.  According to scholars, the discovery provided striking differences from orthodox beliefs. Instead of being separate from God, we are One with God. Instead of sin and repentance, Jesus speaks of illusion and enlightenment. And finally, Instead of Jesus being Lord and God, we are all from the same source, and Jesus is our spiritual guide.

Another saying of Jesus,  “I shall give you what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what has never occurred to the human mind.” (Saying 17 Gospel of Thomas). This saying is for each of us to ponder and consider as each of Jesus wisdom sayings in the Gospel of Thomas.

Buddha, another master teacher said before you set foot on the path master yourself; DfEgwEEWkAAQ2jIand Lao Tzu said, ” The Way (God) is complete in itself. All blessings come from it and it holds nothing back from anyone.” Krishna said in the Bhagavad Gita, “Those who seek to find the One without ceasing, will find the Lord dwelling in their own hearts.”

With love and compassion in your  heart,  thoughts, emotions and actions, look within; through meditation, contemplation, prayer and study, you will find that Great Universal Energy that we call God.

“The heart is like a garden. It can grow compassion or fear, resentment or love. What seeds will you plant there?”

We Are Connected

We are all connected to the same source, the One Infinite Creator,  and we are all trying to images tefind our way back home. Even scientific research has suggested that we are wired with spiritual brains and how meditative prayers actually changes our brain.

According to various sacred texts and the more recent contact, the Law of One, “All things, all of life, all of the creation is part of one original thought.” We move our body, mind, and spirit in somewhat eccentric patterns because we have not grasped the concept that we are part of the original thought, that we are all one. To know the truth is to know yourself.

quote-if-you-want-to-be-wrong-then-follow-the-masses-socrates-85-17-67.jpgOur ancient teachers provided the message over the years, but man has misinterpreted the meaning and the masses follow. We are condemn by religions and those  who follow that religion if our beliefs are different than theirs.

The Christian Gnostics, who lost the battle with orthodox Christianity tells us a Divine spark exist within us and is also taught by the Syriac Christians mystics as other world belief systems and religions. Edgar Cayce said Christian Gnosticism was the highest form Rumi-Quotes-1of Christianity.

Buddha taught us that the Universal mind is not subject to birth and death. It is beyond all concepts of duality and Divine matter is eternal, it contains within itself all reality and all truth. Buddha taught us meditation, the gateway to find our way home, an essential part of our spiritual journey.

Krishna from the Hindu Religion said, “the Lord dwells in the heart of all things. He is the only reality so do not be deceived by appearances.”

Lao Tzu in the Tao Te Ching said the Tao (God) never answers with words. It does not reach out for things, but all things come to it. The unspoken plan unfolds slowly. It gathers all things as if in a net, so nothing is lost.

images1Jesus, the messenger of love, said we are from the light in the Gospel of Thomas, discovered in 1945 and can be found in saying 50 in the Nag Hammadi library. The discovery provided striking differences from orthodox beliefs. Instead of being separate from God, we are One with God. Instead of sin and repentance, Jesus speaks of illusion and enlightenment. And finally, instead of Jesus being Lord and God, we are all from the same source, and Jesus is our spiritual guide. We all have the power within. In the Gospel of Thomas saying (3) Jesus said: If those who lead you say to you: See, the kingdom is in heaven, then the birds of the heaven will go before you; if they say to you: It is in the sea, then the fish will go before you. But the kingdom is within you, and it is outside of you. When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will know that you are the sons of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty, and you are poverty.all-religions-one3

God is spirit of pure unknowable energy encompassing all. We are all connected spiritual beings , all from the same source. According to the Law of One, no religion has all the truth, but all religions  have some truth.  Our requirements are the same regardless of religion or no religion, to  learn the ways of love, wisdom and be a service to others. Meditation, contemplation, prayer and study will help with that endeavor. If you fail to learn the lessons in this life perhaps you will in the next, but eventually we all find our way back home.

Spiritually Wired Comes With Rainbows

Research has suggested that we are wired with spiritual brains and how meditative prayers actually changes the brain. 149689_10151201865818781_517019379_n Dr Andrew Newberg is a neuroscientist who studies the relationship between brain function and various mental states. His research suggests we have spiritual brains, with a feeling of connectedness to something greater than ourselves, developing  intense beliefs about God.  Using brain scans Dr Newberg measured brain activity of Franciscan Nuns while they were engaged in a type of meditative prayer. It showed measurable effect on the brain providing evidence that meditative prayer has an effect on the brain.   Science has proven,  what many of us already believed, meditation has a profound impact on our brains by meditative prayers.

There is an advanced spiritual practice investigated by Father Francis Tiso, author of Rainbow Body and Resurrection.  He investigated a specific case of the Tibetan Buddhist, Khenpo A Cho and his practice of the “Rainbow Body, “. In 1992 and at the age of 74,  Cho devoted himself to retreat practices. He recited more than 400 million of the mani-mantra, Om mani padme hum.   Over and over he recited and images rainbow monkpromoted the recitation of the Long Life Prayer of the Protector of the Snow Ranges and the Heart prayer of the Enlightened Activities pervading space  related to his holiness the Dalai Lama and Avalokiteshvara.

The day, before his death, in 1997, Khenpo responded to young  and old people of his entourage with great pleasure and without hurry he gave instructions on what is to be done in the future. The next day he ate very little, showed no signs of bodily sickness or fatigue. At noon, he laid on his right side, turned his head to the north and face to the west, reciting the six-syllable Mantra, Om mani padme hum, and died.

According to Father Tiso, his face immediately became youthful, smooth and pinkish all signs aging disappeared. A fragrance smell was not only around the body but outside the house. Above the house five colored rainbow lasted for days witness by many including monks and father Tiso. Father Tiso also reported  the afternoon of the day of his death, just before dark, a light similar to that of sun rays was shining for a long time from the east.download (25)

His body remained under a cloth and each day it would get smaller and smaller. On the seventh day there was manifested the stainless rainbow body the viajar body..

Other reports regarding the rainbow body state that  when a person dies, rainbows suddenly appeared in the sky and after several days their bodies disappeared. Sometimes fingernails and hair were left. Sometimes nothing was left.

Father Tiso  discusses  his research and  investigation  known as the Rainbow Body that Tibetan Buddhist have known for years.  Some believe these stories reflect upon the resurrection of Jesus Christ. A rainbow light has been witnessed by thousands of people after death. Attaining ‘rainbow body’   is discussed in Zen texts, as well as Zoroastrian, Christian, Manichean, Muslim, Bonpo, and of course, Vedic texts, among others. Attaining the ‘light body’ is for everyone with ample proof that it exists now and in ancient times.

Early Christianity spoke of a Divine spark within each of us and Jesus said we are from the light.  In the Gospel of Thomas (50) Jesus said, “If they say to you, ‘Where did you come from?’, say to them, ‘We came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord and established itself and became manifest through their image.’ If they say to you, ‘Is it you?’, say, ‘We are its children, we are the elect of the living father.’ If they ask you, ‘What is the sign of your father in you?’, say to them, ‘It is movement and repose.'”

“Strange is our situation here upon this earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose.” Albert Einstein

Jesus Secret Sayings, 9-16

In the last posting we discussed how the Christian Gnostics had some of the same spiritual concepts as Buddha, Lao Tzu and Kristna. You also may be surprised  how closely related Jesus’  teachings are to the eastern mystics traditions. The traditionsb2f79f613c6c6aaa3912be59c692ca8d are a spiritual way of life that includes developing respect, trust, and love for all and discovering our full potential as true human beings.  All spiritual concepts ask us to look within ourselves to find answers. The answers are in plain site, as  Jesus tells us in various parables.   “Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you . For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest.” (Saying 5)

Perhaps it is time to listen to our higher self.   We all have deep seeded belief systems, affecting our understanding of not only Jesus’ parables and metaphors, but our understanding of God. Many have been engrained with orthodox Christians sources. Today we have the world at our fingertips to help us understand  Jesus true teaching to help us find our way back home.   The Gospel of Thomas provides new insight into the true teachings of Jesus. This 12 minute video provides an overview of the Gospel of Thomas.

Last time we discussed verses 1 through 8, Jesus’ message was to seek the truth, look within ourselves to find the kingdom. Many believed Jesus died for our sins.  Perhaps one should consider he died so we could see the light and to follow his message and be like him; pure love and light. This is up to each one of us to contemplate and decide for ourselves.  Now let’s discuss verses 9 through 16.

seed-sprouting(9) Jesus said, “Now the sower went out, took a handful (of seeds), and scattered them. Some fell on the road; the birds came and gathered them up. Others fell on the rock, they did not take root in the soil, and did not produce ears. And others fell on thorns; they choked the seed(s) and worms ate them. And others fell on the good soil and it produced good fruit: it bore sixty per measure and a hundred and twenty per measure.”

There are comparable sayings in Matthew 13:3-9, Mark 4:2-9 ,  Luke 8: 4-8  and Luke 8:13 .  Each time the author has added their interpretation of the seed parable as found in the Gospel of Thomas.  Similar stories are also found in the Sirach 6:19.

Meditation-quotes-Paramahamsa-YoganandaThe seed parable describes  the divine seed God planted within each of us. In order to grow, one should find their way by seeking the truth, being caution of the pitfalls of life and false teachings that produce no fruit.    Those who discover the truth, will begin to sprout and grow.  The more you cultivate the divine seed with a fertile foundation,  the more abundant your  love and light grows. The illuminating light and love affects those around you, doubling in measure.

Jesus said, ” The truth will set you free.”

(10) Jesus said, “I have cast fire upon the world, and see, I am guarding it until it blazes.”

In a similar parable,  Verse (16),  Jesus said, “Men think, perhaps, that it is peace which I have come to cast upon the world. They do not know that it is dissension which I have 20251920-put-the-world-on-firecome to cast upon the earth: fire, sword, and war. For there will be five in a house: three will be against two, and two against three, the father against the son, and the son against the father. And they will stand solitary.  Comparable sayings in  Luke 12:49  , and Matthew 10:34-36,

Most would agree  Jesus message has cast fire on the world.  He is  known throughout the world as either a spiritual leader, messiah, divine prophet,  Jewish preacher, religious leader, son of man, son of God and even God. Was Jesus’ message  love and enlightenment or  sin and repentance as the Orthodox view  teaches? That difference has divided many,  including religions and families.  We have been indoctrinated since birth with the orthodox view.  The  Muslims and Christians seem to stay in conflict,  both believe in Jesus but in different roles.  All  those in conflict believe they are right.  In the end,  each will stand alone.

(11) Jesus said, “This heaven will pass away, and the one above it will pass away. The dead are not alive, and the living will not die. In the days when you consumed what is download (30)dead, you made it what is alive. When you come to dwell in the light, what will you do? On the day when you were one you became two. But when you become two, what will you  do?”

Comparable saying Matthew 24:35  Mark 13:31 Luke 21:33 Matthew 5:18 and  Luke 16:17.

All of reality as we realize it, is an illusion and will pass.  Even the illusion of birth and death will be realized as such. Everything is in flux, ever changing to a higher state of reincarnation (1)consciousness.  We pass through periods of incarnation, eventually returning to the spirit world of light. To learn our lessons we must  become two to be able to come into this world of illusion, with all the confusion and distortions. When we consume what is dead, we make alive. We are all here to learn our lessons plus the ways of love and wisdom  and must return to the positive polarity to return  to the One. We are here now as two, so what will you do in this material world to return to the one.

(12) The disciples said to Jesus, “We know that you will depart from us. Who is to be our leader?”
Jesus said to them, “Wherever you are, you are to go to James the righteous, for whose sake heaven and earth came into being.”  Comparable saying can be found in  Luke 9:46-48Luke 22:24-27Matt 18:1-4, and  Mark 9:33-35.  It is interesting to note,  Jesus mentions no names in those parables.

James was the brother of Jesus, and the leader of the Church in Jerusalem until his death godsaystrustmein 62 CE. There are five books of James in the New testament. Also discovered later was  The Secret Book of James and The Apocryphon of James. James did not drink wine or eat meat or cut his hair.  He was found kneeling and praying to the point his knees were like a camels because he was alway kneeling. He was an extraordinary character and righteous.  In the Secret Book of James, he presents himself as the person who sends the other followers of Jesus on their missions. Today, Christianity has followed more of Paul’s teaching, Many biblical scholars and lay Christians have noted that Jesus preached almost exclusively about the kingdom of heaven, while Paul highlighted justification by faith—and not vice versa. Some conclude that they preached two different gospels. Others argue that really they both preached justification; still others say it’s all about the kingdom.  The true teacher is within each of us, our higher selves.

(13) Jesus said to his disciples, “Compare me to someone and tell me whom I am like.”
Simon Peter said to him, “You are like a righteous angel.”
Matthew said to him, “You are like a wise philosopher.”
Thomas said to him, “Master, my mouth is wholly incapable of saying whom you are download unitedlike.”

Jesus said, “I am not your master. Because you have drunk, you have become intoxicated from the bubbling spring which I have measured out.”
And he took him and withdrew and told him three things. When Thomas returned to his companions, they asked him, “What did Jesus say to you?”
Thomas said to them, “If I tell you one of the things which he told me, you will pick up stones and throw them at me; a fire will come out of the stones and burn you up.”

Comparable sayings can be found in Matthew 16:13-23, Mark 8:27-33 and Luke 9:18-22.

Consider after each answer, Jesus responded by telling them he was not their master and that they were drunken by his presence and their perceived idea of who he was. They looked upon Jesus as a being unlike themselves. When believing Jesus was more than he was, they were unable to see themselves as equals. When Jesus took Thomas aside, he said three things or words which could have been along the lines of,’ “We are equal.” “We are the from the light” or “we are all sons of God”. That would justify Thomas’ response to the others when asked what was said.

(14) Jesus said to them, “If you fast, you will give rise to sin for yourselves; and if you pray, you will be condemned; and if you give alms, you will do harm to your spirits. connect to your higher selfWhen you go into any land and walk about in the districts, if they receive you, eat what they will set before you, and heal the sick among them. For what goes into your mouth will not defile you, but that which issues from your mouth – it is that which will defile you.” Comparable says are  Luke 11:1-4, Luke 9:1-6, Luke 10:1-12,   and Matt 6:2-18,

This one is probably more difficult than most because of the ways we have been taught since birth. Consider we all have a higher self, a divine spark within; a divinity from God. We are suppose to allow our higher self guide us because we have all the answers within. Like overindulgence with food, fastingimages (91) for too long also harms the body. We have the ability to heal when we seek the truth and  look within ourselves as Jesus said in saying 2 and 3. What we eat will not defile us but what comes out of our mouth will.

(15) Jesus said, “When you see one who was not born of woman, prostrate yourselves on your faces and worship him. That one is your father.  Comparable saying is John 10:30

big_thumbNot born of a woman is our father. Again, Jesus is telling us we are all equal with Jesus.  When we worship other humans, there is division instead of uniting and finding our way home.  We are all divine beings of infinite worth and we are here to learn our lessons specific to us, and the ways of love and wisdom.

Each parable has many answers and within your own reflection you will find a greater answer than anyone else could give you.  Perhaps we should consider the Gospel of Thomas was used by the others to write the Books of the New testament. Next month we review the next group of the 114 secret sayings of Jesus.
